Is there a way to have the screen either turn off or lock when you are in a call? There have been a number of times when folks have used my phone and they disconnect the other party because they move the sensor away from their face and back which causes the screen to come on and then the end call button gets pressed. Perhaps an Xposed module tweak?
Thanks,
Kevin

It works on our phone. Just tweak the setting to how far you want the "near" to be

Is there a way besides sliding the notification bar and clicking on the phone call item to go to the phone call status ? from a shortcut or a widget ?
I'd rather just press home and have it on the screen to return to it.
Would love that too. What makes it worse is when i go to swipe the notification bar, I invariably trigger the proximity sensor which turns off the screen.

or just hit the phone button at the bottom.
Your only other option is to open the dialer/phone app. Meaning, the stock/Sense one, not DialerOne or your replacement dialer.
I can root, install Roms, and all the other geeky ****..
Yet the most basic thing... Making a phone call.... I still cannot figure out..
Flashing over to another call
Three way calling (still cannot figure this out right)
getting back to the phone while in a current call.
Is there a hold button?
LOL

Exactly.
I'm running CM6 and the stock dialer you have to press something extra to get to the actual call.
I just installed Widgetlocker.
Is there way to not have the phone being locked under Widgetlocker during calls when the phone turns off screen in a call?
Usually after 15 sec in a call... my phone's screen goes out.. but when I try to use functions during call such as dialpad, mute, etc... I have to unlock the phone again through widgetlocker..
The phone would normally not be locked under the default locker..
Is there a way to change this?
Thanks
In WidgetLocker edit mode, try pressing the menu button - Settings - Behaviour - Show In Call.

Hi,
Is there anyway to wake up the phone without having to press any of the hardware keys?
Thank you.
There are several apps in the Play Store that offer different ways to turn on/off the screen other than using the hardware buttons. There's one called 'Gravity Screen - On/Off' that might meet your needs. Or just search for 'screen on' in the Play Store and you should get several other options.

Or use s-view type case
Some roms have ActiveDisplay or something similar, it uses the proximity sensor to wake up when the phone is removed from your pocket.
A custom kernel touchwake will do the trick, however you will need to be rooted with custom recovery and it will consume more battery from the touch sensor being awake all the time.

Remove the spen it wakes the phone up.

Try Tasker (on Play Store) . You could set up so when you shake it will wake up. There are so many things you can do with Tasker.

They May be a dumb question but I just realized that when my Phone rings the screen doesn't light up. I have to double tap the screen and then and only then it gives me the options to accept or decline the call. I checked the setting options and didn't see anything to modify. I do have tweaks and xposed but couldn't find anything I'm those settings either. I couldn't remember if it was always like that or if this just started. Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi guys,
an annoying drawback of this phone is that when the screen is only a little bit wet (after being in a pocket), the screen stops functioning. You then have to turn off the screen, clean it with your cloth, and then it will work again.
So when I am receiving a phone call, I often cannot use the swipe answering feature, because the screen simply doesn't react to my touches. This leaves me just ignoring the person calling.
I have tried some apps that are supposed to enable to answer by home button, but none of the apps worked.
Very grateful to any solutions!
