How to move app from internal memory to external memory link 2sd app2sd not working here..

you can use mokee unofficial release which can do that. Otherwise you must wait for CM 11 dev. to implement that option.

[Q] Apps not moving to SD

I noticed a problem on my Desire. I'm running 7.0.3 cyanogen and none of the installed apps seem to be moving to the SD card.
For example, I install an app, move it to the SD card via the settings panel. It states that the app has moved, but the internal memory does not change. Only when I uninstall the app does the internal memory free up.
I deleted all of my ~20 apps (all on SD) to find that my internal free memory went from 9MB to 93MB. What may be the problem here?
CyanogenMod do not officially support a2sd

So you need to download Legacy A2SD from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=957344
I had no idea that they didn't support it :/
Now I have 146 of 147MB of internal memory free, and a bunch of apps installed. Thanks for the info

Suggestion! on memory issue

hi dev, is it possible to merge internal memory and sdcard memory into 1 partition? Or by using emmc method to swap sdcard with external flash but use the sdcard 2gb as a swap space for android system which possible speeding up SGW since i notice SGW has very limited ram memory to play around with 384mb.
Actually I've been meaning to discuss that with Arco but I don't think it's possible.
Our phone has 512RAM but about 200MB are always reserved for the android system, and the 384MB left are for us. However I can never seem to have more than 191MB.
if i'm not wrong the 200mb was reserved for the dalvik machine. i'm still new so everything is guessing. please correct me if i'm wrong. I'm trying to learn and hopefuly can contribute to the community too. cheers
From what I understand, they are 3 separate devices, with different capacity. Maybe we can mount them to different path? Before using the decades swap, I was using an application called directory bind created by a member of xda. Basically it automates the mount -o bind command. I have no idea what to use the internal memory for.

SGW hardware is build with 512MB RAM. 4gb internal memory which work just like ordinary computer hard-drive however samsung did a partition on this 4gb internal memory and it become 1gb internal and 2gb sdcard the other 700mb was for the rom. For the microsd we slot in will become external memory. if we do the swap thingy script as mention by adlihebat above it will change the 2gb sdcard to external memory and the microsd to sdcard. So my question is, is it posible for the dev to merge the 2gb sdcard back to the internal memery. or they can make use of this 2gb as swap space for the android system. because SGW is really lag of ram maybe by doing this will help SGW gain some performance.
Used to have a great app Link2SD when I was on Froyo which used to move dalvik cache, lib and .apk files to external SD but doesn't work on Gingerbread unfortunately.

Sounds feasible, i think in theory this need to be done in recovery mode. Modify the partition table as we want it. But need a new rom that will recognize/take advantage of the new partitions. I wish i have time to do all this.

Does not work will not work.
Swap your memory if you are rooted.
JellyBean does not support apps to sd.
In futere wil be possible when rom development is going on.
you can bind your gamedata folder to sd card so additional data is stored on ext sd card.

How do I bind it? Can u guide.
samsungs default is to save apps to the sd card (internal) partition. they share it. i think that's how google has also made it from ICS on out. so there's no point really.
I have app2sd on my ns4g on jellybean so it can't be because of jellybean?

[Q] Swapping int with ext SD in CM13

Anyone knows how to swap internal storage with external SD in CM13 as Foldermount doesn't work nor formatting internal SD with almost all CM13 yet??
I'm on TW 4.4.2 using a swap script so my internal storage is not used at all while my external 32 GB sd is fully used.

My question was about CM13 , however, there is a good xposed module that you can use it's called XInternalSD
I have tried it myself and it's working fine.
any news on this ???

Internal storage full.

I have a serious problem with my memory. I have an 128g sd card. Searching for a way to transfer apps from internal storage to sd card or release space. Pls advice. Thank you all. I attach photo of my phone.
You can't use microSD as Internal Storage on MIUI. You have to switch to AOSP.
Can you please explain what is AOSP??
Thanks in advance. Also any way to move apps???
AOSP is "basic android" or Custom ROM as people know.
You can't move apps to microSD in MIUI (not officially supported)
