How to change icon theme with Google launcher - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

I am running Broken 1.2. Using Google Launcher. Is there any way to change icon theme? I can use Nova Launcher but want to stick with Google. Tried multiple mods from xposed but nothing. If anyone knows specifics, please do share. Thanks

[Q] Is it possible to change icons without a launcher?

I'm trying to change the icons for apps on my home screen.
I am using the touchwiz and is there any way i can change it without the use of launchers?
There is probably an easier way but if you root you can replace the res/drawable-mdpi/icon.png in each app to whatever you want
I use Icon Changer from the Play Store. Works well and you can use icon packs or "decorate" (as it says in the app) the stock icons. Hope this helps.

Any grid size mods for TW roms?

I miss having a grid size of 5x6 when I had the note 2. I'm currently on the Wicked rom and didn't get an answer when I asked in that thread.
Hoping that maybe there's some mods I can flash.

In Nottach Xposed which is built right into Wicked you can go into launcher settings and set it to 5x5 launcher with the 5x6 app drawer instead of the default 4x4 launcher with the 4x5 app drawer.
Tried it but when I rebooted it still looked the same.

did you install the framework thru the framework installer built in the rom? If your running the app and making changes it wont do anything if its missing root or no framework. I would double check those, if its not working i dont know why. It worked perfect when i was running wicked v4
You can install another laungher. Apex and Nova both give you the ability to change the grid size.
Both are free on the play store so there's no risk in trying it out.
I reinstalled the xposed framework and it's working perfectly! Thanks guys! ^_^

[Q] Note 2 TouchWiz 5x5 format

I'm a new XDA user and new to rooting so please bear with me. I am simply looking for a TouchWiz launcher mod (I think mod) that allows me to use a 5x5 app format. I have the SGH-I317 with build: JZO54K.I317UCAMH3. Can anyone help me out?
You just need a different launcher...
Give Nova launcher a try from the play store..
No root required ...and it gives you the options to grid up to 6x6 I believe ...
Otherwise ...to get TW launchers with grid changes you would need root and a custom rom most likely ...g

I haven't had the best experience with launchers from the play store. Had a go launcher before and it was just too much. I went with the root because I figured I could just mod the touch wiz or flash a better touch wiz Rom.

Never mind. I gave up looking for a mod and downloaded the Nova Launcher. VERY easy to use, customizable the way I like and very smooth.
Now the only question I have about having multiple launchers is... How do I prevent them both from running at the same time? I already set the default that when I press the home button, it goes to the Nova Launcher. And then in Nova Launcher settings "swiped away" the touchwiz launcher. But is it still running in the background? Do I even still need it? If I don't, how do I remove it? And no worries, I have a backup from before I installed Nova.

Once you swipe away the tw launcher you have set nova as default. Only the default launcher will run. I would not remove the old tw launcher as it can be a backup in case nova acts up. In other words, its good to have multiple launchers installed. Only one launcher is active at a time.

Icon Packs

Hello there, I'm currently running on Cyanogenmod 11 Android version 4.4.2. I was wondering if there were any ways to use icon packs with having to install 3rd party apps like Next Launcher, Apex Launcher, etc.
I really like the way my UI looks and I don't want to use unnecessary Launcher apps. Someone please tell me if this is possible or not.

Hey guys, was trying to change my icons on Macks Rom 5.0, its running 4.1.2 Touchwiz but cannot find it in settings. I am used to Apex Launcher and you can change icons within the settings menu. How do you change icons on TouchWiz launcher? When icon packs are installed they dont show in the App list either. Any replys are appreciated. Thanks!

You need to install a theme that changes your whole entire phone. http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-2-sprint/themes-apps if u go in that section you will see a couple of themes you can use. If I remember correctly the reason that u can't see them in app drawer is because u need a theme changer.
