I posted about this bounty and the bootloader bounty on Reddit.

Share the hell out of this!
Put me down for $50
50 but not gonna happen
Arent you required to unlock the bootloader before tou are able to root the device? If so then rootinf the device means unlocking the bootloader
Count me in for $35, Im happy as long as theres root in place but i agree that the bootloader should be number one priority

Basically Wirefly has the gn2 for $249.99 and Bank of America gives you $50 back through their Add-It Up program. I also got $25 credit from Sprint.
So my breakdown is like this: $249.99 - $25 (sprint loyalty) - $50 (BofA add-it up via Wirefly) = $174.99 + tax (I also paid $7.99 for faster shipping)
You're mileage may vary with Sprint...maybe more.
Hit Thanks if this helps....

So bofa gives you the 50, it doesnt come off the price of the phone?

So this deal comes up right after I left BOA? Lol talk about bad timing!
I'll like to pull the trigger but stop me if I'm wrong, doesn't Wirefly stops you from swapping your line out to another line from within the same plan?

I think WireFly prevents swaps but the link that I posted is a sub for them, and does not prevent swaps. Been doing swaps for years with it. I'll post the link in a bit. They got the Sprint note 2 for 249 tax free.

Check the other thread that has details on the loyalty program. It works great!
going to best buy 299 - price match (wirefly) 219.99 then ive got the 50 loyalty crap from BB then another 25 for turning in any old phone then the 20 reward cash from BB that i have. so total price will be $124.99 + tax.. yay..
I didn't even think about price match at Best Buy

I just bought a titanium last night from Wirefly for $219.99 no CA sales tax and free FedEx shipping. I'm plenty happy with that.

Me too--so I cancelled the Best buy order, more for the principle of their lofty sounding price match policy than for the money.
I have had plenty of success swapping my wifefly phones. Where you run into to trouble is when you try to cancel the line thinking the only ETF you'll be paying is Sprint. I believe wirefly has their own ETF ontop of the one paid to Sprint and both will be charged to you in the event of a cancel or downsizing your plan to one that doesn't work with the promotion that they offered you.

why did you pricematch instead of buying from wirefly? Wirefly has no tax, whereas BB has tax?

The $50 off phone freedom program. And the 20 in reward bonus cash, plus the 50 gift card I had lying around

is that $50 phone freedom for everyone?
Also did they charge tax on full price of the phone?
Thinking about adding a new line soon. The line I want to add is for a basic phone in my drawer but I wanted to get the s3 on a new line price and use it on one of my current lines. Anyone know how much the newly added line would be if I activated an old flip phone on it? $20 or $30? Thanks all. My current plan is 1500 mins, unlimited text, data.
I can't get Sprint on the phone. Called twice and has been disconnected.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
When you add the new line and buy the GS3 they are going to add the $10 Premium Data charge to the line so it will be $30. I am guessing that when you swap the phones (to get the GS3 on your existing line) the charge will be removed so it will drop back to $20.

This is what I'm thinking. I am fine with doing $20. It's for my brother who's 11 and clumsy, so he's not ready for a smartphone. I'm hoping I can do this and get the price to drop to $20 from $30 since the $10 add on is only required for smart phones.

Saw this phone on best buy for 150 and I'm eligible for a 2 year agreement just wanted to know if any of you guys have bought through best buy before?
If so Does your plan changed in any way whether it would be data?
Reason why I ask is because T-Mobile is always making it impossible for their customers. I see it as a smart investment worse comes to worse down the line I can always opt out and pay that 200 penalty to get out, I would still have my s3.

I hate Best Buy but couldn't resist their low prices so last year I bought 3 phones online. It work out good for me. Not only I end up paying for the phone much less than any other place, but also somehow I didn't have to buy a data plan with those purchases. I have a family plan and that did not change also.
Last week I tried to add fifth line to my plan and I had to add minimum $20 data to new phone so I'm not sure how it is now...

Long time - since there were Voicestream - probably 10 years.
I bought this phone from bestbuy in october since I was eligible for an upgrade and bestbuy had it for way cheaper than tmobile ever did. Only part of my plan that was suppose to change was my data plan but it never did actually change. I still have the same plan I had before purchasing the phone. No complaints
Thanks guys. Yeah its way cheaper than what Tmobile has it right now about 340 with the upgrade. You guys did it through the phone or in person. One rep I was speaking with told me that I can't get the phone in store because T-Mobile doesn't allow it? Is this true or just BS. I was going to get the blaze through T-Mobile but it was going to come out around 184 basically around same price I'm getting the s3 for through best buy.. Not a big Fan of the 4'7 screen but oh well.

I actually did mine online and I had no problems. Bestbuy also gives you the option to add a warranty I think but I'm not to sure since I didn't get one
the issue to consider is that BB will sell you the 2 year plan, which continues the "subsidy" (we all know it's baked into the monthly price, RIGHT?) even after you pay of the phone. Consider a tmobile store - and a value plan, where there is more of an up front cost (possibly), but the value plan is a purchase of the phone as a transparent process, and when it's paid for (20 months?) you keep the phone, and the monthly price drops.
If you can do a "small buisiness" plan - go for that! $40 per month to 1000min and unlimited (5GB at 4G speed). $50 for unlimited/unlimited. Add $20 for phone, and stll cheapest way to go...
Merry Christmas

Just wondering...
Mine came out to $60 up front... and ($25 a month on the EIP)
only thing is, i average $25+ a month in discounts from work and AAA for tmobile which basically is paying for my phone..
I paid 199 plus the 25 a month, but I came from At&t so with more data and minutes plus phone still coming out a lot cheaper.
I paid like $225 (something like that) and $15 a month, more up front but less a month.

Just paid $400 on Craigslist for a brand new unit after verifying with T-Mobile that it had a clean IMEI and wasn't financed.

Yeah I can't really argue that possibility. It was a middle aged lady who had me come into her office at work to get the phone and had a whole legit story for why she was selling it. Usually the janky ones want to meet in a Lowes parking lot at like 11pm and they roll up on a lowrider bicycle so I felt confident enough to go through with it.

I paid no down payment, only the "sales tax", which came out to around $60. My monthly bill, which includes Unlimited Everything, JUMP, and the $25 EIP, is now going to be $108/month. Not too bad. Before I switched to the new no-contract plan, I was paying $109/mo for my old classic plan, which only included 2gb of data & 1000 minutes & unlimited txt.
So the way I see it, I'm paying $108/mo for unlimited everything and the ability to trade in my phone for a newer phone every 6 months. Which is probably the best plan I've ever had.
Paid $582 outright (no tax+ shipping) thru overseaselectronics.com. Wanted to keep my $30 prepaid plan.
I paid no down payment just for sim card and taxes and shipping which came about to like $70 and $25 for the eip

I know I posted in this before, mod maybe didn't allow post. I payed about 175 up front and then monthly payments for 24 months. Total about 500 if I remember correctly.
Hey guys and gals I have a quick question, I plan on getting the note 7 but with the 24 month payments of 36 a month. My question is have you done this before and if you have do they require a renewed contract and or any hidden fees? I am grandfathered in and don't want to have a new contract, so can I go to best buy and set up the payment plan or online with Verizon? Thank you very much I appreciate you all taking time out to read this. Good day.
Sent from my SM-N900V using XDA Free mobile app
I think with Verizon and you being grandfathered in you have to buy the phone or sign up for a new contract. Don't quote me though I'm on Tmobile.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am back with an update yes you can go to say best buy and get the phone pre ordered. 36 a month even on unlimited data. They only require a 50 dollar down payment they put on a best buy gift card and give to you. I'm assuming so people don't back out of getting the phone.
