Personally i use recforge pro, it has the utility of using both mics for stereo recording, i use it in university o reunion.

My Recommendations
If you want a lot of features in addition to voice recording, I would recommend Cogi
Else, I would highly recommend Audio Recorder by Sony

I use the native sound recorder, only record, stop, play, and erase (all for the current recording, when you finish it will close) the bad thing is that everything you record goes into a .3gpp file, not a .mp3, .wav, blablabla. But with a file explorer you can change it and still play it
to use de native sound recorder if do not appear on your aplications use nova > Direct access > Activies > Sound recorder

Skyro sometimes get hanged in my Moto G so i switched to Easy Voice Recorder PRo

Skyro v 3.0 Material designed app
Skyro's new version is completely re-designed with beautiful themes and ability to add photos to the recording.
Over all experiance is improved a lot. Best voice recorder app for android.
try it worth

I have tried several apps for live music recording and I get saturation. Only the video camcorder records a clear audio, but I don't want the video, only the audio. (Sorry for my English)

There is one and only voice recorder with some unique feature like " Noise cancellation test/ dual mic test" as well as stereo recorder... I like that most. just search "voice recorder sony corporation"

Change quality (to better) in HTC-Voice-Recorder? or an alternative..

I like the HTC-Voice-Recorder, it's simple and easy to use without the stylus..only the quality is so bad! The Notes program can record in nice quality..so the mic. is not the problem..
Anyone know how to improve the quality with HTC-Voice-Recorder?
Or, does anyone know a Prog which works on the Hermes WM6.1, which records directly to mp3s in moderate high quality?
I used to have one, but it broke up every 20secs or so and was unusable that way..
Thx for any infos
Voice Note

I tried Resco Audio Recorder, the problem with it was that the recorded file kept breaking up every 20secs or so..and the lower settings were to bad quality as far as I remember..
Hello!
I want to know where the audio files recorded with HTC Voice Recorder are filed on my mobile?
Thanks

I am using Microsoft Recite.
Maybe you could try NoteM, I have used this for years, not sure if it works on 6.1 or not but it's worth a shot. It's free, why not?

Best voice recording app

Which app do you recommend for voice recording? Auto gain control is a must-have, something like Tapemachine has for an example.
I use PCM Recorder Pro. It is cheap, offers the high audio quality and is the most battery conservative (you can record even 1 day without empty the battery). This wav audio format need card space.
I prefer to apply audio filters on PC controlling the effects. I think Auto gain control is only a filter.

I've been using Voice Recorder for years now. I record a lot of stuff and I've never had a problem with it.

I prefer Easy Voice Recorder Pro. It has always worked for me and has the key features I need:
★ Record to MP4 files using AAC (on Gingerbread and higher), 3GP files using AMR, and WAVE files for lossless recording. You can even record in the background and control the recorder using a widget, while you do other things!
★ Continue an existing wave recording.
★ Support for folders.
★ Boost volume and reduce noise with the gain and noise gate features.
★ Switch to the camcorder microphone for louder and clearer recordings.
★ Control the recorder from anywhere using the status bar. Recordings can also be pinned to the status bar.

I think a very important think is the auto gain when the sound is not uniforme. The only app I found that implements this feature is That All Recorder Lite. What iscritto your judgement about this feature?

Any good voice recording apps for recording lectures?

I recently switched to an AOSP rom and found that the samsung voice recording app sounds very good. I'm not sure, but i'm guessing it utilizes both mics. The first app from the market i tried, smart voice recorder, sounded horrible. I couldn't hear the lecture at all. Does anyone know of an app that utilizes both the mics or sounds as good as the touchwiz app?
for general recording I use recforge...i bought pro, you can swap formats, decrease gain It can successfully record vocals during band practice with a loud guitar, so i can find harmonies after if I'm struggling or if a new soong. I highly recommend this app for recording. There are also convert tools and other options
as for lectures, I use lecture notes pro version with lecture note recordings. The recording is not as nice, but good enough and when listening to a play back, i can search, then press a place on my handwritten notes and it will automatically synch the play back to the time when i wrote the notes. I use it with a stylus and it take what i wrote in the window at the bottom and places it on a line in the "paper", it does multi pages, has so many options for tweaking size, font, and way more than I can list here. There is a trial version however the recording add on is purchase only. the lecture notes printed out really nice from phone and tablet or i can share them to google drive, evernote etc. I tried 7 notes and like lecture notes much better with regard to fluency when in a lecture.
and if just a recorder I would go with recforge...HTH!

Def will...there is a free version i believe where options are limited within app for formats mono vs stereo etc but you can check out quality for yourself its my go to recording app for sure...hope you like it or find what you need
Tape-a-Talk Pro. Its unbeatable. It sounds excellent from 30 ft and works fantastic on all of my devices, even my tab that has a pretty bad mic.

Never tried that one but will certainly check it out...what kind of options come with that? Do they have a free or trial app?

best audio recorder

Hi. What is the best way to record audio at concert?
Default Audio recording android app is bad, but audio using video recording is much better.
Is there some audio recorder app in store that give better quality for audio recording?
Thanks
I use smart voice recorder it does real good with music in my opinion
I found the default app (LG?) much too loud (very high gain).
Tried a few, I now use titanium recorder. Not for concerts though, just general recordings (bonus: it's free)
hi q mp3.?

You can try Secret Voice Recorder. Apart from providing you the best quality voice recording, the app lets you start and stop voice recording simply by pressing the power button 3 times within 1.5 seconds. The power button gesture will work even if your mobile is locked.
I am the developer of the application. If you got any suggestion or feedback, let me know. I will look into it and fix it.
I suggest you to try Apowersoft audio recorder software where you can record your voices, record from music streaming sites and more. You can also save audio in high quality and get deal on the product from dpcoupon.com

Questions to Realme 5 Pro owner : mic quality's better on 6 Pro

Hello, if you wanna record anything else than voice (ambiant sound, etc) on the 5 pro, you can forget it : it's just HORRIBLE. Somekine of filter is applied by system and can't be removed. I want to know if 6 Pro is same. It's one thing that would make me upgrade. Ideally, record sound of your street/hangout and upload to vocaroo. Would be SO GRATEFUL. Thank you.
Hello!
I have recorded pipe organ music with human chorus on a church that sounds beautiful, using the Recording program on the phone. It also records voice and music from pianos and other instruments, with not too much distortion. I am sure if you install a port of Google Record or any other recording program that let's you modify the gain in the micro you'll be able to record anything with good quality.
Cheers!
