That is not normal. You should be able to run Lookout without any issues (minus a tmobile chatter for having root).. What is Lookout saying exactly?

Its saying ignore app or uninstall the app

That sounds like Lookout is finding an app that is "suspicious" and wants to either remove or leave it on the system.

Yeah I just flashed wicked ROM SAME RESULTS

Disable data connection for selected apps

Is there a way to stop an app connecting to internet without having to disable alla data connection?

I use DroidWall. It's free on the Market, but it does require root. I'm thinking most if not all of your choices of an app to do what you are asking will require root.
Wow thanks. I already have that app and I thought I'd read it trough thoroughly but there you see.
Anyone know if you can disable apps from starting at all, e.g. Social hub?

If you have root, you can freeze it using Titanium Backup.

Stop an app from connecting - DroidWall
Stop an app from starting - Autostarts
For freezing apps you could also use app quarantine, I like it best.

Done. But no use. 2 more screenshots..
I have had the same annoying pop-up ads that looked like this "your Android memory is too low, please clean it up" or something like that, when I pressed "OK" button I just was redirected to "Du Booster" app. So Ad-blocking app is your friend, and for me the best is Adaway.:good:
I had these starting yesterday. I just had to restore my phone to a backup in the end. I got rid of lots of apps and the aware ones didn't find anything

adblock plus is what i use and it works perfectly.
Adblock Adaway or the xposed mod minminguard. As long as you are rooted they should all stop the adds and pop ups

If you are not rooted the only option is to uninstall the app which is giving you the pop up. I don't know of any pop up blocker that doesn't require root

Yes... I am trying to do the same .. but unable to find the app that is causing it .. most of my apps installed are from reviews from top Android forums and few games only.
I have uninstalled almost 10 apps in suspicion .. but still can't trace the culprit.
Hurray... Finally got hold of the culprit.
It was named com.scloud.... (Didn't remember the full name)
Initially thought it was system app but when going thru all suspicious names found that there is an option to uninstall which is not available for sys apps.
After I installing it alk these ads are gone.

Super Samsung v2
I feel it heavy with the same lag like stock rom
Use titanium backup or root explorer, both are fantastic tools. Just be careful you don't delete necessary system apps
Root App Delete
I suggest using Root App Delete. It has a "n00b mode" where stuff only gets disabled and is completely reversible, and all processes are color-coded. Stay away from anything orange or red and you should be fine.

This is all I could do also.. you can disable most of the bloat.. but it's still there taking up space.
I wonder though.. does disabling really disable everything ? Without extensive testing and monitoring.. one can only wonder..

Ok. I thought you disabled the apps using the Settings>Application Manager route. In the application manager you can see many other apps also which are not listed as your apps but are running in the background and can be disabled. Also, using this method, for each app you can first clear the data and cache before disabling / turning off the app thereby freeing up some more space taken by these apps.
I would love to know this as well, specifically the ones not found in the app drawer
Is disabling the app like freezing the app?

Without root you probably can't freeze apps. You can probably only turn them off

Will the app install? I've got one for you, see if you can get the walmart app to install (and work on your phone). There are several others I've managed to install, but they won't run or just go to a blank screen. Other examples I've installed but they don't seem to run are Dominos app (love ordering pizza) and Flipp (the most awesome weekly sales flyer app).
Thanks I'll try the 1mobile, error I usually get is like not compatible with your device.

Actually Walmart app work's fine, and really most apps do,but really need my progressive app working, and the slickdeals app also will not install.
