You would have to check the compatibility in the xda threads of these mods.
But why would you still be on 4.3??
Sent from my Z1c running AICP
4.3 is better than 4.4 at battery life and temprature:laugh:

yes the battery life is good on 4.3 and the camera quality is also very good on 4.3. if the 4K mod is ported to 4.3 then it will beat any fone with 4k video recording.
2 days ago I have backed to 4.3 and my battery life improved very very well I can't belive that 4.4 have such a worse battery life. I'm now on 114 firmware and first cycle has full 48h running and almost 3h screen and 1h phone calls and still 43% battery. Now for me is insane. Because on kk I have 48h and 3h screen and my phone was dead... Screw you kk when i bought this phone I can't believe that battery life is so great after kk is little better than.sgs2 on 1650mah battery so 4.3 is much better i think that phone is much better in stock fabric rom when it has his premier

Wich is the fastest combination of kernel+rom for arc?
Thank you!
Sent from my LT15i using XDA
I'm using cm7.2 fxp115 of FXP and it's very fast and recommended
I havent arc, but xplay is similar. I can recommend u cm7 with doomkernel for cm7 (im using one for stock and its really fast after oc to 1.21 ghz) or arconium and doomkernel for stock.
Sent using r800i with DoomKernel v11 (1.21ghz)
I'm using CM9 with FXP kernel, fastest ROM I've ever used. It's even faster with DoomKernel ICS, but the WiFi doesn't work.
Miui is the best, ics is very bug slow xd
Wysłane z mojego LT18i za pomocą Tapatalk
CM7, Arconium 8 or MIUI(DiMiui or G-MIUI. They're Gingerbread roms both).
I don't recommend ICS yet because Sony hasn't released the code yet. There are some decent ICS roms though, but I'd wait.
Blend miui is better

doomkernel+arconium 8.1 is fastest for me
doomkernel+Xperia Mod 6 gives best combination of performance and battery life if you ask me.

Yup i have this setup and it is amazing
I've tested pretty much all the roms available for the arc.
Fastest ones IMO are:
GB: Acronium 8.1
ICS: JJ's Hybrid Rom V4
I'm using JJ's Hybrid Rom V4 atm and the speed and responsiveness for an ICS rom is amazing. Also it's really lite.

I agree that the battery life isn't amazing with JJ's ICS rom, but for me the battery lasts for about 36 hours (latest leaked ICS kernel and settings changed with no-frills cpu control) with moderate use (no games or streaming videos). About 12 hours less then a good GB rom but that's ok with me. As long as it can last at least a whole day without charging.
KA14 is the best!

Would you say arc knight is better than Sirkays?
Hi,
I've been mostly using stock gingerbread on my Xperia Pro and thought the battery life was pretty ok. It lasted at least the whole day. Now I'm using Jelly Sandwich with and it goes from 60% to 30% in just over an hour with no wifi, no 3g, no SIM card, screen on full brightness. That's alot of drainage to me, but I want to know what you get on ICS?

Allright, would be cool to see some comparison of all the roms and the battery life. Wich stock based kernel do you think has the best battery life?

yes, thats possible... but I think maybe the app I use to test battery life (nova battery tester) is running some stress to make it drain faster as well, not sure. I will continue testing

Thanks! tried the lupus kernel and it seems good, but not working on lates jelly sandwich 7.4 though. I just compared ArcKnight and stock kernel and ArcKnight has better battery life.
My battery drained so fast when im using it for messaging and texting (FB,BBM). From 100% went to 15% in 5-6 Hours.
Is my battery is broken?i really like my device...
Device : HTC One V

Ok, thanks for sharing :good:
so is it impossible to fix the various lags that this phone has?
OP I suggest you try re flashing Androidnow HD again. I really like this ROM. I have no lag and a great battery life. Just switched to ART today and it became like a whole new phone.
and a little respect to the chef that made AndroidNow HD. It is hard making ROMs and saying that his rom has lot of lag is disrespectful.
I'm using stock rom and I am experiencing zero lagg at all. Battery life is perfect and performance is beast.
