No popup notification option?? Theme option also?
Thanks!
Anybody with any ideas how to get this to do the notifications on the lock screen that wakes up the phone when a message comes in. I like the look of this in some areas but find it very odd how much they left out in terms of changes the text bubbles, font, background, etc.... Still appreciated the upload for all of us to use though.
Anyway to get the pop up notification?

sorry, i don't really see what the difference is but it is availanle in the playstore as mentioned above. my guess is it's not available on TW, so you'll have to wait and see...
I flashed the same zip file a week ago and when you pull down the notification shade and use two fingers to expand the text notificatiion, there are three options: "Reply, Read, Call". Try flashing it.

What zip file? And can you reply in the notification bar or does a separate box come up after you hit reply?

I'm not on TouchWiz I'm running DeviantXone and it is an AOSP ROM. And the difference is..... quick reply opens up a separate box after you hit reply; what I'm talking about, when you hit reply, nothing pops up and you can literally reply in the notification bar!

I found the solution in the play store. I downloaded 8 sms stock messaging app and in the setting it has an entry for dark theme and when it was checked in two places it switched over to a black background. when I tried to check it in the stock messaging app it did nothing. So I hope that this helps anybody that has switched to Android 4.4
Here too
This is the one from the nexus 5,but dark themed. Myself and some others are trying to get an mms akin to the one used from 4.2 (bubbles, custom background, etc),so if you know anything about theming, feel free to join in
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2536748
With this app,you have o be rooted and then push this to system/priv-app ,fix your permissions to rw-r-r and rename the old one to Mms.bak. Have fun

Has anyone gotten the Google 4.4 Dialer to work on the stock Kit Kat ROM?
I've flashed the flashable zip and the app is installed to system/priv-app, and it has proper permissions, but it keeps force closing when opening it.

From what I've read, no. Although so me devs might choose to include it in their ROMs.

Tried out PAC-Rom using PA full gapps. With a light browsing it appears to have the google dialer. When I am around a nexus 5 tomorrow I will compare it and see if it is actually the same thing. Late and my memory is failing me atm.
I wish there was a way to do this on the Tochwiz ROM. Search inside the dialer and caller ID.... nice.
Ok guy this is a simple op for now until I get home and redo it...

Finally. This test ROM had been very stable. With this release, I assume few minor issues had been fixed. Loving it.
Note: tether works if you are downloading the mood from other thread. Just saying not endorsed.
Anyone got suggestion for tweakings: battery full, mms screen on disable, headphone icon disable, and smart alarm icon?
I tried xblast (causing slow boot weird app, tw launching issue); wanam (mess up the keyboard)
Thanks for any advise.
