Hi,
My LG G3 memory is full and I will buy a 64gb sd card. The photos I take are automatically saved on Google +.
The question is, if I transfer my pictures from internal memory to sd card, would Google + upload them (again)?
I want to continu to use internal memory for futur photos.
What is the solution ?
Thanks to membets who can help me.
Nobody in the same situation than me ?

Hi, You have an option in the camera settings to chose the external storage instead of the internal memory of the tablette. The tablette may switch from one storage to the other but I would move everything to the external and change the settings asap.
Hope this helps.
Hi
I am using blisspop rom in my lg g3 16.
I dont have enough memory in my internal storage, so Iwant to save the new pictures in my sd card.
I have tried going to the google camera settings but I didn't find anything.
Also I have tried downloading camera mx amd then selecting the external storage but this too didn't work cause it doesn't shows me the external storage there.
P.S just to make things a bit more clear , thevsd card works fine and it is mountes.
What can I do?
Thanks.
Recently purchased a samsung evo+ 64GB and when i MOVE files to micro sd and delete the internal files it came from it deletes the file i transfered...
Is it not ok to delete the internal file [pics, videos, music] after you move to the sd card? Everytime i do it deletes it..
I must have deleted 3000 songs and my recent vacation pictures
The move from an iPhone to Android has not been a smooth transition .. everything is so complicating and sending videos is a pain as it is always blurry
Is this legit ?
Do i always have to have the micro sd MOUNTED for it to be able to directly transfer photos I snapped..
I need all the help I can get
Here is the sd checker
, hello everybody, sorry for my English, i can't save photos /videos directly in my Google camera in the custom Google Rom, so i install the sense camera, (i prefer it over the Google camera) it works fine, but there is no option to save photos/videos directly to the external sd card, any help please?
Hi,
I know it is not such a good idea to use an SD card as internal memory. But unfortunately it has now happened.
I use a Motorola G5s with Android 8.1, 64 GByte SD card as internal memory. Now I would like to switch to a new Android and backup everything via the Google cloud before. Both Whatsapp backups and ThreemaBackups abort, probably because there is too little memory. The internal shared memory is given as 13.04 used by 32 GB and the SD as 63.06 used by 64 GB. I have removed Apps & Videos, only the internal shared memory becomes free. However, the backup problem remains.
What can I do? How can I make Whats App etc. find enough memory again?
Kind regards
Alex

This thread is for g5 not for g5s. Please post your problem in g5s thread.
And for memory check, just install any file manager and check where the memory is using.
For WhatsApp use whatsapp backup feature, it will backup all of contact, message, video....
WhatsApp has its own backup system
Open WhatsApp and goto settings/chat/chat backup
Link your Google drive account and chat backups will be made
If you have too much media & not enough online storage you can manually copy the media from the WhatsApp folder on your device to a PC and backup just the chat messages only
