So, I have been reading around, and supposedly Samsung was supposed to announce their plans for QI Charging on the GS3 last month. I didn't see anything come out. Would it be safe to say that we probably will not see this?
Just wondering if anyone has the touchstone wireless inductive charging on the sprint note 2?
Thanks
Mods can you please put this in the sprint section?
Sorry
So I acquired a qi charging pad thing for my SIII made by QWPC, (yijieneng.com)
it works great only on the pad they supplied, on other pads that I have , one being an energiser pad, it seems to get to a point where it will stop charging, and then start charging again, and over and over again. it woke me up last night because the little pop up that says wireless charging has started.
on another note, I have a Verizon back that is also Qi, and it seems to do the same thing.
anyone know why? Could there be some issue with heat perhaps? that anyone can think of? and if so, anyone have a resolution? Anyone haveing this issue also?
I've been looking everywhere, but I can't find anyone who has set their phones up to charge wirelessly with the Palm Touchstone. There have been hacks for pretty much every Galaxy and Note version through the s5 and the Note 3. You could even buy pre-modded battery covers which would work with the Touchstone for these devices through ebay and other outlets. But nothing on the Note 4. Anyone have any thoughts?
Not surprisingly, the watch's battery is not great. I would like to purchase two additional chargers to have them in my car and in my office at work. But the official charger is a bit overpriced. Does anybody know of cheaper alternatives?
Same question here, or any way to customize/mod the device so it can be compatible with other wireless charging devices?
I was wondering of anyone has tried a samsung galaxy charger or similar to see if they work?

I tried both Samsung original, and generic one. Both charged the Galaxy watch 4, both shows charging indication in Pixel watch, but it doesn't really charge

Cheers for that, saves me wasting money trying for myself.
That's just what is needed - more proprietary charging devices. Screw any common standards.
