What micro sd card are you using - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Hey everyone I'm curious what the best micro sd card sound be used with the note 4. I've been using the same class 10 64gb ultra San disk since the note 2. Was thinking of getting the 64gb samsung pro at best buy. Any thoughts?

I like San Disk better but Samsung is good as well. I myself use San Disk. I'm thinking of getting a new back up San Disk when they are on sale for Black Friday. Last year I got a San Disk class 10 32Gb micro sd for $10.

I'm using the SanDisk microsd 128gb ultra Plus

I've been using SanDisk 64gb cards, every single one died in 6-12 month of use. (first sign is corrupted photos)
Bought 64gb Samsung and haven't lost a single file in last 12 month.
Two friends of mine also have exact same issues with corrupted photos with their SanDisk cards. However SanDisk warranty is great, simply send it to them (you can actually physically drill a hole in it to protect your privacy, as the rep suggested to a friend of mine) and they send you back a new one.

Samsung EVO, never had any issues.. I always get Best buy match amazon's price

Samsung 128gb for me

Does anyone get the lag during wake with their microSD? I have a ScanDisk 32 GB card that's a few years old and when it's in my phone takes a few seconds to respond to the home button to wake. As soon as I take the SD card out, it wakes instantaneously.

I went for a 4GB Transcend SD Card. It works perfectly with absolutely no problems.
Got a great price from:
http://www.orcalogic.co.uk
anybody knows how to find a gool deal of this 4GB Transcend SD Card in the US?
4GB woh~
£174.50!!!
cant handle that!
shamed
I did try the 4GB Transcend SD card, but my Universal refuse to take pictures and store it on my 4GB card. So I returned it. I bought a 2GB SanDisk Ultra instead, and all works fine. Not to mention that the San Disk 2GB SD card is black in color, thus looks nicely on my XDA exec.

Hi to all,
please take a few seconds to see the Web up mentioned.
I am very interesting to buy a new 2GB, SD card. I saw many web pages and this is one of the best prices that I saw. Is a Transcend 150X. I saw more SD cards but without name.
Do not buy noname card! I have several of them broken lying around here.
I recommend Sandisk or Kingston.
Kingston gives lifetime warranty, Sandisk I do not know, but these two never make problems.
I use now 1 GB Sandisk SD Card.
Yo are right, everyone have to be careful when buy something, specially if you use your PC (Internet) to buy out side your country.
Be aware about the waranty, is a plus. Read about the produc and also the costumer notes or reviews.

Very nice prices, I saw these web page a couple moths ago, but be careful if you don't live in Germany, you must pay ship and is very, very expensive!!!! check it first!!!!
hmm
maybe not so good then so where did everyone get a 4 gig or 2 gig card from for a steal that worked ?
8 gig card
http://www.orcalogic.co.uk/asp/prodtype.asp?prodtype=14569&ft=d&st=1
8 Gig cards didnt know we were there already, is there a limit on our phones to stop us going to 8 gig or will it take anything they bring out?
this is a 8 GB compact flash card, NOT sd.
afaik there are no 8 GB SD cards available yet.
i wish u not said that
I ended up buying a flash card instead of sd card :S contacted them hopefully to cancel
I can't recommend Kingston cards. I've just RMAed a 2Gb sample back because of cracks growing and - believe it or not - its distintegrating. The plastic prongs on the contacts have gone - snapped off and the read protect switch has gone to read protect switch heaven.
How old is it? Have I been using to fight off guerillas? 2 months and no, just in my Universal.

I bought it off this site mwave.com about 4 months ago, they had it on sale before for less than $200. I forgot the exact price. I checked their site but did not find any listed, take a look: http://www.mwave.com/mwave/ViewProd...SHMEDIA-SD&DNAME=Flash+Media+-+Secure+Digital

16/32gb microsd - where to buy?

I have a HTC Desire and im after a larger storage than 4gb included.
I'm a bit wary of class 2 cards in fear they will be very slow. And I'm also wary of fake cards on ebay for example.
Also does class 4 vs 6 make a large difference?
I want a 32gb if its the right price (and not class 2?) but im not sure where to buy from. The site must be able to ship to new zealand.
Thanks.
I know that Verizon is supposed to be selling 32GB microSD cards, not sure about the class but I don't think their class 2. There normally $150 but have been on sale for $99 at least 1 or 2 times. So even if it is a class 2, still better than the $199 price for the Sandisk 32gb one on Amazon. Either way good luck, I hope you find the card your looking for!

I bought a 32gb from http://www.jr.com.
Seen the verbatim 32gb mSD class6 at amazon for 89$/free SH, and seen the 16gb's from 25-60 depending on brand/speed
Hey just wondering, where are you getting info on the micro SD cards? All I have found so far says 2 is faster than 4. I'm not saying I'm right your wrong but I just purchased a class2 today under that assumption.

lol. that is regular sd card not micro sd.
There is not a 32gb class 6 micro sd card on the market as of today.
Yeah, class 4 is about twice as fast as class 2 cards. I would say the best price/speed ratio right now is the Kingston 16GB Class 4 MicroSD card. Best places to buy micro sd cards online would be Amazon and Newegg. There's hardly any bull**** with the products on those 2 sites.
Amazon UK - You've now got 32 gb class 6 micro sdhc at £88.00 link class 4 at £85 link . I just ordered a class 2 for £64.49 including postage - link
Hope it helps.
Uhmm, a bit of confusion in my mind, wich class is enought for my Galaxy S?
The 'class' rating on the card can basically be thought of as the tested minimum transfer speed (sustained - not random. A random write can far exceed the class rating).
class 2 (~1Mb /s)
class 4 (~2Mb /s)
class 6 (~3Mb /s)
and the highest I've seen is class 10 (~4Mb /s) which I doubt any of us are going to buy.
So far as I know, there is NO CLASS 8 - don't buy one, it's probably a fake. By the way those ratings are in mega bytes not mega bits if you need the bit speed just multiply by 8.
Now if you're ever told 2 is faster than 4 you can laugh in their face - when (dealing with technology) has a lower number ever been better???

I meant to answer this earlier but any class would be more than enough for the galaxy s. The reason you want a higher transfer speed is that loading 8, 16, or 32 GB of data can take forever depending on the type and amount of data. As far as the phone is concerned, a class 2 is fast enough for a swap file, video/movie, or music.

I agree, the phone is going to max out before the card does.
Hey gang. I am new here. I just purchased a 32gb card class 2 for my Samsung Vibrant. I noticed it handles just about everything except recording hd video directly to the card. The first few seconds during playback show as rainbow colored garbled pixels then clears up to play clearly. Reduce the recording resolution of the video and it plays fine. Record hd video to phone then transfer to card and it plays fine. It is a brand new card (kingston) with next to no data on it so far. Anyone else having this issue? I am thinking I need a card with a higher class rating.....

To record HD video smoothly you are gonna need at-least a class 4 and maybe a class 6. Class 2 doesnt write fast enough to keep up, thats why you had the pixelation distortion.
As far as a 32gb class 6 card, I am afraid we are out of luck until these cards come onto the market. Samsung has been working on a new card I heard.
Hoever, newegg does have class 4 cards in 32 gb for around 100 bucks.
Hope this helps.
UPDATE
there is a class 6 32 gig card I found at amazon but it is a "Komputerbay" brand so buyer beware.

Who knows good places to buy memory cards in EU?
Hello. On ebay 32 gb class 10 is maximum 50 dollars, 16 gb is max 27 dollars. But i dont trust if they are real or fake. You know, they make Samsung's, sandisks fake and no clue to understand if it is like that.
So, where is best to buy, cheap and safe? Amazon, ebay?
And what brand, kingston Samsung, Sandisk?

great stuff.
I have bought many of their SD Cards before and I have returned a bad one with no problem.
They are manufactured for MC by a different reputable company, I can't remember the name.
I would give them a chance if the price is good...

The Micro Center flash memory is a good choice. They purchase from source manufacturers and drop the "Micro Center" label. An example would be Micro Center 2GB SD (MMAGF02GWMCU-PA) is also branded as a Lexar 2GB SD and a couple other brands.
I have a 16GB Micro Center MicroSD card in my Evo right meow.
Paid $32 for it, can't comment on the speed (don't really care) but the price point is right on.
Can't complain.
i shop their daily for my business. i think the cards they have now are Sandisk and are all class 2. i got an 8 gig there about a year ago and it was a class 6 but since then they are all ether class 2 or occasionally class 4. if speed isn't an issue then i highly recommend them because if you have an issue with any of their MircoCenter branded products just take it back and they give you a new one no question. i am in Columbus and thats their corporate headquarters and it has the best selection. also it is their corporate policy to price match Newegg on anything in store. the Cincinnati store has given me fits about this but when i tell them i am from the Columbus area and shop at the Bethel road store they very quickly change their tune and match Newegg.
How much is that one? I found a 16gb sandisk on amazon and i get free two day shipping, for 28$

love it
I shop at MC almost every other day and ive bought one of every kind of flash memory they have. All of there SD memory is top freakin notch. Technically the micro's are class 2, but remember in SD storage, the class notates the MINIMUM speed. ive tested the 16gb i have a million time and it almost always comes out to class 6 speeds. There regular sd's are smokin fast and i buy them and use a SD card reader instead of buying flashdrives now. Speaking of which DO NOOOOOOOT BUY THERE FLASHDRIVES!!! They suck hardcore. im talkin 1-3mbps write speeds and an ENORMOUS rate of failure. But all there SD media is completely unrivaled. Dont hesitate, just buy it!
I paid 26 for 16 gb and is class two I get 3mbs write and 10mbs read

SanDisk 32GB micro SD card for £26.50 on Amazon

Just found this on Amazon UK, £26.50 for 32GB micro sd card, sold directly by amazon and not 3rd party.

Class 4, I bought one two Weeks ago,a bargain if you ask me.the 64GB ones are a bit out of my price bracket.
class 4 too slow, need at least a class 6 or 10.
Class 4 is fine for most of usege I think, unless you need to transfer large amount of files regularly. I shot a 20 mins 1080p video on to class 4 sd card without any problems.
I recently brought a 32gb Samsung Class 10 microsd for £39.99 from 7dayshop plus 2% cashback from Quidco, pretty good deal for a branded card.

Been using the Sandisk 32GB from Amazon uk for a couple of weeks now and speed wise it's fine. Agree with OP - bit of a bargain currently compared to the 64GB one.
On a related note - I've been using the Kies Air app just to transfer large files from my desktop to the card on the Note, and it seems amazingly fast. Not benchmarked it, but it certainly seems a lot quicker than via USB in MTP mode.
I bought 32GB sandisk class 4 from amazon uk as well and I think it's prety good for the price of £26, write speed is 4MB/s , read is 17.4MB/s
cheers

(Deal Of The Day)32GB Class 10 SD Card Costing $19.99

Here is the SanDisk Pixtor 32GB Class 10 SD Card that is currently a deal of the day product from Best Buy. Retail is $69.99(Yes, We Know It Is Overpriced But We Aren't Here For The Retail Price, But Instead The Sale Price) but they currently have it on sale as on of the Deal Of The Day products for $19.99(70% Off!). Ends early morning tomorrow, September 20th. Would be a great addition to anyone already using the Meenova SD Card R/W. A total spent of around $35 shipped and you get the Meenova SD Card R/W alongside a 32GB Class 10 SanDisk Pixtor SD Card.
Thanks! I got my Kickstarter backed Meenova Reader about a week ago and was just thinking earlier tonight that I wanted to find a 32GB or 64GB microSD card for it. Ordered!

Warning, before purchasing...
WARNING: This is not compatible with Meenova's microSD card reader.
Just got my card in the mail and realized that I should have read more closely. This is an SD card, not a microSD card. Only microSD works in the Meenova card reader. No wonder I thought I was getting a good deal. Hoping Best Buy will will give me a refund when I go to the retail store tomorrow, as I have no use for an SD card. Thanks for sharing a good deal though, @EPayne123!
