LG G3 Keyboard ( Requires Root ) - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Themes and Apps

Lg G3 Keyboard . Its an apk and requires root . I have a flashable zip ready but since we dont have a recovery then its useless . Just download and extract the apk and install . Works great on our Note 4 and I have been using it all day and had no issues.

Here is the original thread that i had in the S5 G900T section and it contains both the flashable zip (for future use) or the apk installer . http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5/themes-apps/lg-g3-keyboard-t2868910

The reason XDA is here is so people have options and many of them . Why do you stop spending your time running your mouth in every thread and actually contribute something other than your opinion? Just saying .

XDA Its for whatever the user wants it to be . Once again that is not a fact . You need to stop hi-jacking threads . if you dont have anything useful to say then why are you even posting here . No one cares if you dont like the G3 keyboard . I dont even use it but many others do . Since when is helping someone spoon feeding them?

I though xda was for sharing? Which is pretty much what the op did.

Any news about international keyboard port?

Update?

So does this keyboard come with the LG G3 sounds as well? I love the space bar noise on the G3...weird I know but it's way better than Samsung's.
Just thought I'd ask.

So you mislead people by trying to take credit for someone else's findings? You should edit your original post seeing as how you have now contradicted yourself. Furthermore, why in the hell do you ask for thanks? What you posted is old news. It's entertaining for an all of 5 seconds. Cool. If people want to thank you then let them but asking for thanks just looks lowly of you.

this is only my advice, if you make the mod based on someone's work, make sure that you have his/her permission and mention him/her in your credit. some of dev doesn't really concern if someone post or copy their work on another room but some of them will get really mad.

We got our opinions for all things android and modding, some may work for us but not for others, I guess what he means by hassle is extended menu = replacing system files + big chance of getting errors which may lead to frustration + time consuming process just to get something you can get in as easy as download + place on home screen + tap.
And yes, for alpha geeks out there who think they know everything... Relax guys, take a shower to cool you down.

[IDEA] FlymeOs on Galaxy Nexus

Hi Guys, I don't know if this is the best place to post but, I've allways wanted a Meizu phone but they are very difficult to get here in Brazil.
So with the Galaxy Nexus the mother of all android ICS phones, I've got a question.
Why buying a Meizu, when I can make a port of the FlymeOs?

So here I am.
I've done some researches about this and I've got.... Nothing :crying:
I need help of developers and people interested in getting this amazing UI in the GNexus.
For the ones that dont know nothing about the FlymeOs here are some examples of the OS.

Whilst I don't really want to be "that guy", an idea isn't development - this topic belongs over in general.
Good luck with this though. Do some research on porting and try it out for yourself. It's definitely possible.
I'd suggest perhaps sending a couple of PM's to koaaN. He recently ported an ICS Nexus S ROM which itself had originally been ported from the Xperia Arc S.
Who knows? - he might have some tips for you.
I would love it too!

[Q] Recommend a ROM with lots of extras (tweaks and bloatware)

Hey guys, i am finally back on XDA developers, it has been 3 years as i upgraded to an Iphone but have returned to try out android again in the hopes it is no longer a piece of crap os like it was a few years ago and so far i am linking!.
I just bought the Galaxy note 2 and want to root it.
More specifically when i had my HTC Touch Pro with windows mobile 6, i downloaded Roms with lots of apps pre loaded such as wifi tethering, games tweaks and feature re-enabling.
Now i have a Note 2, i want a ROM with the most tweaks and software installed on it, i do not care for the UI as i can learn however i liked the windowed UI of one of the roms on here which is more like a desktop computer.
So please could you recommend me a Rom with lots of extras and explain how i would root the phone as i have a very vague idea and would want confirmation.
As far as i know, you download the rom, save it to a SD card, then reboot the phone in recovery mode and this is where i get stuck as to what i would do next.
Also, if in the future i want to return to the stock rom, how would i go about doing this?
I live in the uk and have a unlocked GT-N7100 so none of this sprint, verizon , at&t ,T-mobile crap your guys suffer with in America.

Yes both of them are talking to you.
Anyways, going back to topic. You should try out Android Revolution HD or Alliance ROM and then install Simplistic Framework which will enable you to further customize the UI such as the status bar, notification panel, etc. Then I would recommend installing Xposed Installer and xposed app setting app to change the dpi of any app or in general.
Honestly, I would personally go about by installing the lightest rom and then adding other features that I can keep track of and that I would need.

Most of the ROM sites tell you exactly what to do to install the ROm plus whatever else is needed...the sequence and steps are all there...just read! For myslelf I have used Omega (steady, stable 4.1) and now PAC (4.2) which is really nice except you loose all the samsung extras...but for me not a big loss.
Good luck

Most of the ROM sites tell you exactly what to do to install the ROm plus whatever else is needed...the sequence and steps are all there...just read! For myslelf I have used Omega (steady, stable 4.1) and now PAC (4.2) which is really nice except you loose all the samsung extras...but for me not a big loss.
Good luck

i bet the battery life on PAC is no where as good as the stock based roms. It seems the touchwiz apps arent the only thing you would be losing.

Facebook Home

Here's the APK for anyone that can't get it yet and is interested...
Play Store
Dropbox Mirror
Drive Mirror
Mediafire Mirror
Thanks i was just looking for that. Silly Zuckerberg not letting Canadians download it

Lame. Maybe someone can strip the device/region restrictions.

It isn't any less private than the regular Facebook app. This is a really tiny launcher that just pulls everything from the app and displays it to you front and center. You can still access all the stuff on your phone easily, but I don't care that much about Facebook so I don't gain anything from using this. It's not bad, just not for me.

It does run on mine just said "not available in your country" in the market so i had to side load it. It probably just checks the build.prop once its installed and im on CM 10.1 so my prop says N7105

I think it would be nice on phones like the Galaxy Ace or a Wildfire S. Just the smaller lower end phones because i hang around with university girls all the time and thats what they have and they use them for Facebook 24-7. But im an 18 year old guy i dont use facebook much besides chatting and i don't exactly enjoy a distorted blown up cover photo that looks like it was taken with a potato as my background instead of the HD backgrounds im used to. I like the concept of the floating head chat just for multitasking but that's about it

This is pretty much how I feel about it. I actually really like the floating chat heads and luckily you can use them without Home installed. They can also be used with regular SMS so that's a plus!

I am running JEDI 12
I'm currently modding an app that should work for most. It will take a couple days

That is a modded version that works for all. I haven't tried it but anyone with no luck here can try that.
