You can use adb to push a rom to your phone
put the phone in recovery
then from your pc command prompt
adb push <name-of-rom>.zip /sdcard
be sure the rom is in the same folder as adb
it takes a while to copy, be patient
when it's done choose install and find the rom you just pushed on the sdcard

You should be able to use another device with a micro SD card and download a rom to the card, pop it in your phone and install. ?

Anyone seen this before?

Bit of an odd one.
I flashed the GPE RUU as per instructions and all appears to be working. Yet the bootloader screen shows the following
M8_UL PVT SHIP S-OFF
CID - 11111111
HBOOT 3.18.0.0000

March 21st...
The query is the OS? It is completely blank?

BUMP
I reinstalled the rom and the issue disappeared. I updated the GE boot loader / splash screen and installed TWRP. Checked again and all was fine.
Just booted into bootloader again ( a few hours later) and now OS is blank again???
Anyone?
It's posted in some threads already, its starting to be a common problem. Nothing to really worry about.

My OS is now blank too and was wondering if anyone has any input on this?
From what I've heard flashing the firmware ZIP puts them back in but as said, it doesn't matter so long as the phone still works...

Unable to flash some ROMs

I've done a full GPE conversion, with S-OFF, but I am unable to flash most of the 5.0.1 ROMs. They flash fine, but get stuck on the Google splash.
Here's the info from my HBOOT splash:

You need to update your firmware, as most (if not all) Lollipop ROM threads clearly state.

Need Help to UnRoot!

Hello guys. Recently I purchased a Htc M8. Today I watched a tutorial and I did root using TWRP, but I want to restore it to original settings. I searched the internet tutorials but I don't understand exactly how to remove root. When I open Bootloader, writes as follow:
*** Software status: Modified ***
*** UNLOCKED ***
M8_UL PVT SHIP S-ON
HBOOD-3.19.0.0000
RADIO-1.25.214500021.06G

OS-
EMMC-boot 2048MB
Jan 15 2015.22: 51: 08.0
My “version-main” are 4.16.401.10
and “cidnum” are HTC_032
My problem is when i connect phone to USB, i navigate to HTC folder from My Computer and i dont found the TWRP folder where i have to paste the downloaded backup later on.
Waiting for your reply.
Thank you! (and sorry for not perfect english)

Help... Soft bricked HTC One M8

Hi
I tried rooting my HTC One M8 using the Hassoon2000 toolkit, and initially it worked ok, although SuperSU showed no binaries. I read that if that was the case I needed to reroot it. However now my phone is stuck with either the HTC logo on, or the the following recovery screen...
*** Software status: modified ***
*** Relocked***

RUU
It appears that somehow I've managed to wipe the OS... Any help would be hugely appreciated! Otherwise I have no idea what to do!

Download this Stock HTC RUU (matching your current firmware):
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934546378
Flash it from recovery!
Lock your bootloader afterwards.
Profit
With s-on, you need to relock the bootloader first in order to RUU using the command:
fastboot oem lock
Then run RUU exe (PC required, Win7 and USB 2.0 preferred) with phone connected and booted in OS or bootloader-fastboot mode.
If you need details on any of above, just say so and we'll be happy to expand further.
