Am I the only one who thinks this "Spark" symbol at the top is super annoying and extremely distracting? I was wondering if there was a way to disable it, or perhaps hide it. If not, I suppose I will have to wait for root

Speaking of the logo, how can you tell when you are really on spark? That thing spins all the time when im on 4g but i dont have spark in the area. I liked the spinning logo at first but now i wish it were stationary.
Looked into plenty while I had my S5 and Note 4 - and it looks like there isn't anyway to remove it without being rooted. A few more days and we should be alright
And yeah from what I've read the spark logo will be spin regardless of actually being connected to Spark or not. I ever get 3G/LTE in my area so I'm not sure if there is an another Spark logo w/ bars that shows up when your actually connected.

I have a Note 4 , and i get LTE and 3G fine fine but i dont get the Sprint Spark so i have one bar in my house now :\ ahhh i just got this phone today ughh!! #ENDSPRINTSPARK

so i recently got back my Tmo Dash from my girlfriend and i forgot all the problems i had with it til now.
When Win Mo 6.0 first came out i got that german HTC rom on it or whatever. When the screen first loads it shows red writing. ill add a picture that semi shows what im talking about.
anyways. every time i try to update to the tmo 6.0 the dash disconnects from the computer. its so frustrating. and of course the update doesnt work but the dash does go into that three color screen that means its ready to update or whatever.
please please please help me fix my phone. and ive already done that hard reset and still same results.

I am running my T-Mobile Note 3 on ATT. I have noticed whenever I switch from LTE to 4G that it shows no bars even though I know I actually have 3-4 bars of connectivity. Any ideas as to why this would be? Maybe something in settings?

I have also noticed that whenever I make a phone call, the status bars will switch to showing 4G icon only (from 4G LTE icon) and again show zero bars even though I obviously have a good connection and have no issues with the phone call. It must be some software bug.
This is on a rooted device with stock ROM by the way.

I just got fed up and switched my N900T to GSM mode only when home. More bars ( full ) and better battery life.
Ok I got it figured out. I had a setting checked off on Wanam that I shouldn't have and this was causing no bars to show when on 4G and edge. Unchecking took care of the problem.

There is a WiFi network "BrokeAsDancer" that shows up on both my phones. Rooted N3 and stock S5.
My PC picks it up at home but on our phones it shows always nearby and full strength no matter where we are, including another state.
Anyone ever see this issue before?

Its because either you have connected to that network before knowingly or unknowingly and it saves it in the phone, so when you are in range you can connect it again. You can get rid of it by long pressing that network and forgetting it as og.blaah said. Even if you restart your phone it won't go away, you have to manually "forget" that network. Hope it helps.
I've never connected to this network and it shows up as full signal available on multiple phones in every location I'm in. Its been doing this for over a year. Anyone that comes into contact with this network (as in, in range of) gets this problem
If it was on both phones in multiple locations, and one phone was stock, its because of some app you're using, only reasonable explanation
No apps. Just switched ROMs didn't install anything and same issue. No common 3rd party between the two phones. It is a mystery
So I finally decided to download foxfi again on my note 4 recently. The USB tethering option works great but Im unable to use the wifi option due to the fact that att is disabling the wifi. Ive hit the home key to see if that works but that isnt working. Ive checked to see if the network would come up on my computer but it did not show. Please help me, Im without out internet in my house because we're in the process of moving but I still have work to do!
You should be able to just use the WiFi Hotspot on your phone via setting --> hotspot unless you're still on unlimited data. If you're on unlimited then you have to be rooted if I'm correct.

Does anyone know what causes this? Ad detection apps don't work on my phone ("...has stopped working.") and it doesn't pop up from notification bar so I can't long-press to find source. It pops up from the bottom of the screen every time an app from Play Store installs or updates....ugh!!!!

Maybe someone can help. I got an LG G3 not too long ago. My wife needed a new phone and being the great guy I am, she wanted another Samsung (she had the GS3) so I gave her my Note 4. I got an LG G3 because I was able to get it pretty cheap on a new contract and I heard it was a great phone.
Now, at work, I always have my phone on vibrate. The Note 4 used to almost bounce off the desk with vibrate. I had to keep turning down the intensity. With the LG G3, I've got the intensity set to as high as it can go and I can't hear it nor does it vibrate the desk at all. I've tried it in and out of the Spigen case I bought.
Is this normal for the G3 to basically have no vibration intensity, even at full? Or do I have a defective phone?
No one else sees the vibration on this phone as almost non existent?

lol...No, I just want it to be able to be heard and felt if it's in my pocket. If it's sitting on my desk, I can't hear the vibration at all. I'm surprised this isn't more of an issue that is being talked about. I like this phone a lot, but vibration is useless.
