I haven't found it yet, and this is my first Samsung phone, but is there a way to link ringtone and notification without rooting or downloading an app?

Well, I haven't had an iPhone, so I wouldn't know. But both of my previous Evos had the feature. I figured that maybe Samsung would have it too

All Samsung devices and most Android devices have the volume settings individually controlled--out of the box with no ....Wanam modes..... (Not a fan) you will be stuck with the segregated controls. (This is more of a blessing than a curse--most iPhone users would love to have this, if they are willing to admit it).
Sorry.

You can clear the list whenever you wish, but doing so will force email apps to relearn your preferences.

I wouldnt trust it, until theres an app coming from apple.
According to The Verge the data is sent to China then to Apple. They recommend using throwaway Apple ID's instead of your primary one

Not only that though but apparently the app can install apks on your device without your permission if installed. I wouldn't trust this app at all. Cool concept but providing too much access to the developer and who knows who else.
I also read about this app. For Apple devices to think it's an apple device messaging them, the text you send, has to go to a third party server in China, and then to the recipient. Use at your own risk.

Your advice would work... if Google hadn't already pulled it from the Play Store.
Can somebody Please PM me with the apk or post it here ? The app was free (I guess), so it isn't warez right ?
EDIT: I found the app, but when I try to login the verify goes to about 50% and then nothing happens. Anybody else having this problem ?
Don't trust it.

I had auto updates on so my phone only told me that three updates were done in the Update Center. No log of what they were.
Anyone know?

Those are not system updates, they are the LG apps that got updated like lg keyboard and other stuff from LG. Not sure why they can't put in the play store like HTC, Motorola instead of having one more useless app store like Samsung.
No one said they are system updates.
Software updates from the LG Update app. I already did the Keyboard update days before, so it wasn't that.
3 other packages were updated.

It's not an app store like Samsung, it's just an internal update system. The two are really different.
I don't care for the keyboard update. It messes up a lot of the auto correct.

I find the update did better for autocorrect than it did before plus I love seeing the word I am swiping go through the transition.

Try typing the word "you'd". Does it recognize it? Also, try ending a sentence with the word "at" and then type a period. Does it switch it to e.g.?

Why would we want a keyboard to decide what you should be saying?
I have an English degree and I frequently use intentionally bad grammar for various reasons. This is a huge reason I can't use Swiftkey either. Both of them are hell-bent on turning your typing into a single style with a concrete set of rules and patterns. Let ME decide what I want to say.

You are doing this from within an app. The home screen doesn't have settings.
Edit: OK you're apparently doing this from the phone app. Those quick replies have nothing to do with wear, they are the options you have when dismissing a call on the device.

There isn't an option to do this I'm aware of. Some SMS apps might do this but nothing for calls I've seen.

sadly it DID work the first time I edited the nesus messages.. the moto sent the edited message out.. the next day back to default messages. i talked to a motorola rep, she dug a bit and found an internal memo stating these messages were defaultand CAN NOT BE EDITED
This is a basic function here, this should be easily edited at any time. the fact that my unit did use the ones from the nexus 6 kinda tells me it read the nexus messages, then some update or internal setting over-road them......
this must be fixed there is NO reason why I shouldnt be able to use my custome responses....
Just tried to do precisely the same thing. Disappointed to find that changes to the stock quick responses on the N6 don't filter through to the Moto 360.
Anyone have a good solution to notifications being terrible in the Fire Phone? The combination of the lack of any sort of notification LED + the fact that the notification bar doesn't actually show you notifications means that its very easy to miss things. If you get a notification from an app that doesn't put it on your lock screen (as in, almost every 3rd party application), the only way you'll ever know is to pull down the notification shade. Is there any way to get it to show something up in the notification bar itself like every other Android phone?
I've been using dynamic notifications, that way you never miss a notification.

There's this one to try also: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2641557

That's acdisplay, and depending on your personal preferences might suit you better. I currently use this instead of Dynamic Notifications as I find it a bit more stable and suits my needs better.

I'm not sure, sorry. I hardly use my phone for phone calls lol. It should, in theory, show all notifications. Perhaps the dialler isn't supported and you could try a different dialler app?

My older Kindle Fire 8.9 doesn't have notification access either. It came out long before the fire phone. So, I am not sure what's on the tablets will be any indication of what will be in the phone OS.
The Fire hd6 came out after the Fire Phone and runs fire os 4 while the Fire Phone still runs os 3.
