and the Evervolv Nightlies from Evervolv team so all credits and thanks to them in the first place !

Phone, Tablet and Phablet mode
P.A.L., First time in Android history that Per-App-Layout has been realized
This rom features a setting called Per-App-Density. You can define an apps native DPI with it, make it look stock, smaller or bigger than that, your decision.
All apps are depicted at DPI 182 per standard. No other rom has that feature right now
Google Play does not allow density changes and will stop working if you mess around with that. This rom fixes that problem for you 100%.
More stuff: Recents window closer to stock, fixes for overlapping elements, framework fixes, no crashes, working Phone (looks 100% like stock aswell), etc.

- New option: "large" to trick an app thinking the device has a real big screen. some need it, like amazon kindle to jump into tabUI. some even react on it, gdrive will slightly adapt its layout - makes only sense if you give it a small dpi though.
- The algorithm to extract the actual layout containers from apk files works more precise and can reveal more than before. there will still be a few apps left who do that layout stuff in java - we will add an override button for that, but in the meantime you can edit /system/etc/paranoid/properties.conf .layout=360 for phone-like UI, 600 for phablet, 720 = tablet, 1280 = super huge tablet
- Breakthrough: We can finally target the actual layout containers inside the apk. If an app brings only phoneUI, you see it right away as you only have one UI option. If it brings ten, you will be able to pick each one of em. We're finally away from this Phone/Phab/Tab nonsense.
- Total Hybrid engine revamp, alot less clutter, many bugfixes, apps wont make jumps when you load them up because their actual size is calculated by the engine.
- Panel is still growing. It brings new options and new preferences that can even change android system settings.
- Finally hardware accelerated recents in TabUI, as fluid as ever. The ugly gradient is gone aswell
- Paranoid got its own dir in /system/etc/paranoid - pad.prop is not properties.conf
- A clean backup properties file is shipped, you can make a full reset in the panel in case you lost it with all the settings you made
- Force option can be activated in the panel, good for widget scaling
- The DPI sliders in the panel read min/max props from properties.conf, define them as you like
- TabUI Recents are back to a bigger size, this is temporary, i'll look for ways to port the phone implementation as project butter skipped the tabUI code
- CM fixed alot of features again, we included them all

This rom is based on Android Open Kang Project by Team Kang so credits and thanks to them in the first place !
About AOKP:
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for many Android devices.
The name is a play on the word "kang" and AOSP (Android Open Source Project).
The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.

Xylograph Jellybean Alpha Roms
General HD2 Jellybean stuff currently not or partially working on all of the above roms:
Native USB Tethering (will fc, try using 3rd party app)
Native Wifi Tethering (will fc, try using 3rd party app)
Native Video Recording (try using 3rd party app)
Bluetooth Music Streaming (fixed on Beta, for Alpha use fix below)
Youtube/Video playing cause a hot reboot (fixed on Beta, for Alpha use fix below)
Backlight (keys) have a delay when you lock the phone (to 'fix' this, set animation settings in dev option to 0,5 or off)
Don't enable/check 'show touches' in developer options.. it will crash your phone
Keep in mind that if one of the above roms feature the 'kill task' (hold back to kill app) option that it's still a genral work in progress.
General HD2 Jellybean progress:
Check securecrt HWA Kernel for HD2 thread for the latest kernel developments
Check evervolv on gerrit for the latest development for our 'legacy-devices'
Xylograph Alpha Roms kernel/system updates:
You can safely flash the latest securecrt hwa kernel on all 3 roms.
You can safely flash the latest AlphaROM Fixes found below for the Alpha roms..
All these fixes are already included in beta roms so no need to flash these when using a beta rom.
AlphaROM Fix 1.1 - (mirror) changelog:
Fixed the hot reboot issue for youtube and video playing/streaming !
The above fix decrease the overall system fluidity a bit, but should at least make things more stable.
Fixed the bad audio quality on calls.
Made an option in the aroma installer to revert the 'youtube/media' fix.. the audio fix will be installed either way.
1.1 changelog: Fixed the 'reverting to defaults' putting a file in the wrong folder, sorry for that..
AlphaROM Fix 2 - (mirror) changelog:
Included all previous fixes.
Fixed the hot reboot issue for youtube and video playing/streaming again !
No system speed decrease anymore, maybe it even increased !
No flooding 'overlay2' messages anymore in logcat while playing videos.
AlphaROM Fix 3 - (mirror) changelog:
Included all previous fixes.
Greatly improved the touchscreen sensitivity (multitouch) !
AlphaROM BT Fix - (mirror) changelog:
previous alpha fixes are NOT included.
fixed the a2dp bluetooth issue, please test and report !

Additonal Patches for defined Beta ROMS:
Below you can find the (slightly modified) flashable hwui blacklist patches for the latest PA & AOKP beta roms.
The blacklist files will be written to system/etc/hwui.deny instead of the /data partition
The patch/app is a bit hard on permissions.. let it settle for a while if you can't enable or disable apps..
hwui.blacklist+bt.patch.pa.v1992 - mirror - updated with rev BT patch (credits: royale1223, securecrt, Xylograph)
hwui.blacklist.patch.aokp.n2408 - mirror (credits: royale1223, securecrt, Xylograph)
General HD2 Jellybean Tips & Tricks:
Consider disabling all animations in settings > developer options for a nice speed boost.
Consider setting the included Nova Launcher Animation/Scroll speed settings to fast or ftl for a nice speed boost.
Consider limiting your running processes to 2 or 3 via settings > developer options when things are slowing down for you.
When using Barnacle Wifi Tethering app enable 'skip wpa_supplicant' in the app settings.. After using Barnacle you will have to reconnect to your WIFI manually.
If you are not using some of the included system apps (for example dsp-manager) consider removing them from the rom since these can take up precious device memory. (at your own risk ofcourse)
Some camera apps seem to work better than others.. experiment with it.. I've read that camera illusion seems to be quite stable on these alpha roms.
If you have trouble with GPS not getting a lock download fasterfix of the market and set it to your region.
If you have problems with the market try removing your google account, wipe all the data/cache from the market app via application management, force stop it, reboot and log into the market again.
If you have problems with exchange check this post and push the .apk to the system/app directory. (credits manu33xtro)
Fm radio is working with the latest spirit fm free and using this workaround from icke..
(ROM specific) Bugreports:
remember the above ROMS are BETA/ALPHA for a reason.. expect bugs and stuff not working !
If you would like to report a bug please give proper information on what ROM you have the issue on and provide a logcat if possible.

Keep in mind that not only these roms, but also 3rd party apps could use some (more) JB optimalisations and sometimes just refuse to work...
Not much I can do about it.. give it some time to 'evervolv' :good:
this is the best ROM ever build in other devices.

Are you apologizing on my behalf? If so, I don't really understand why because the download link was kind of hard to find despite the image saying Download. It's unusual to put a download link *after* one's donate links, github link, and install instructions. It looked like it was part of the credits, so I didn't even think to look down that far :S Also, this thread title says 4.1.2 - 4.2, so I'm very curious which it is. Looking forward to the reports from you guys.

Calm down, killer. lol I replied letting you know where the d/l link was and after posting I seen you had an edit to your OP so I edited mine w/ a speed bump. No harm. No foul. It's 4.1.2, btw.
Superuser is larger than normal, even the toast notifications are larger. pA settings wouldn't adjust it. Anyone else experience this?

Sorry for the misunderstanding and thanks for reporting back
While I like the idea of merging all the features of the above listed roms into one super-rom, after watching their video, the implementation looks a bit messy. (Mainly from a menu organization standpoint in the settings app.) I can't wait to see how this project progresses, though.

They're implemented very well, tbh, w/ each one given their own setting to mess with. The only messy part I noticed was that some settings are duplicated, i.e toggles are in AOKP and CM10 settings. You just have to have one configured and disable the other. Other than that, this ROM is really smooth and responsive w/ the common CM10 camera power button bug. I'm gonna test more (few days) and report back w/ more details.
I'm getting that too . But yeah it is 4.1.2 I got all excited ... this ROMs pretty sweet though just a few rough edges to fix .

That's precisely what I'm talking about, though. In my opinion, the ideal way to seamlessly merge all the features would be to put them all together under one roof and group the options out in a way that makes sense (and obviously make sure there isn't duplicated functionality). It just looks like a cut and paste job on the front end at this point even if there was significant work on the backend to make the code merge.

Since it is port rom you cannot swap sdcard.If you guys want to swap sdcard,plz flash the swap_sd kernel and to change back you have to flash the orginal kernel.

Not a full review right now, but I already discovered an annoying problem:
You can reduce the brightness to zero. Meaning, that the screen turns absolutly black. If you can't guess on the black screen how to get it back up, you have to do a factory reset.
As said, quite annoying.

awsome. love the active display so much, btw, sd card swap still not implemented since it was a port ROM.
I tested it. I can say clearly that this rom is so good visually, I liked it. but, unfortunately, it is not as smooth as original rom.

To me, it seems that performances are similar to the cyanogenmod 11 rom; did you mean cm11 as original rom?

Anyway, LoneSeeker, can i ask u some question? Why would u choose to port Mokee ROM instead of PAranoid Android or others popular ROM? Is it because the Mokee dev helping u or they port from a device that nearly the same as Ancora?

i dont know much about active display. it works for me everytime,but i have to check twice.when a message comes at first look like you said it wont work. i lock again and after 10 secs ,the active display works when taken out from pocket. i have set active display brightness to 100 and pulse notification disabled. I guess it is sensor issue.
i am not a developer,i am just trying to learn.this is is a port rom and i ported this from galaxy splus thread which have similar specs.i needed a contantly updating rom for porting and found mokee.Anyway @zxc123coke compiled this rom from source and he is doing a great job...
Hey @theloneseeker I think the brightness issue is caused by the commit of castagnaIT. He added more brightness level for ariesve.

where are the google wallpapers?? O_O everytime i install a new rom and i manage some apps for cutomize the rom as i want, i noticed that everytime i finish customizing the google wallpapers are gone!! now it's too late for undestanding what app it's the responsable and i don't want to reinstall everything, so...someone can help me? :laugh:

-OTA UPDATES-
- You will get a notification on your phone when a new version of RR ROM is available. You can download the ROM on your phone through the OTA updater.
- For now, I have made the link to open in a browser as direct links for the ROM zip on file host might not work at times. I might change this to direct downloading of zips in the future.
- Full ROM will be downloaded, not a delta zip.
- I haven't tested flashing the ROM using the automated scripts in the OTA updater. Use them at your own risk. I advice you to open recovery manually and flash the ROM manually. If you do decide to test the OTA updater scripts and it works, share with the community.

Did you do a clean install (format /system and /data and /cache) before installing,
and did you try to flash the ROM again ?
and is SystemUI giving FC constantly (in a way you can't use your phone with)?
if so please provide me a logcat if you can, so that I can fix it.

Same here, but I have found my own solution:
I have made a dirty Flash. I have flashed this Rom over Xenon HD Rom from second of April.
Sure I have got a force Close (android.process.acore).
What I did next is to switch to Apps tab of Android System Info and look up for CONTACT STORAGE. Immediately after I cleared its cache and data all problems stopped.
Only a solution to try this RoM
for me its working great except for Themes are not applied
Installed ROM with clean install (wipe everything except external sd card).
Wi-Fi, GPS, camera (I use Snap Camera) works.
Sometimes UI lagging (but no more after disabling halo), and sometimes systemUI restarts, especially after using camera.
Overall, a very good rom.
For the boot error the fix is simple
if you force it the initial configuration after the rom works :good::good::good:

first boot rom error is "The process was systemui stopped" force skip initial configuration fix it

Camera does work but if it hangs you need to restart your phone and try again
