Don't know if it possible to get Magazine UX (from S5 or Tab Pro) to work on this device? (This is the new Touchwiz launcher not my magazine)

in DN3 rom rc version ( the last one) have the S5 themes and many things from s5 you can use it

if you prefer a KitKat rom not on this list by all means let me know about it. I really would like to be on Lollipop but the stability and pervasiveness of KitKat, as well as the full range of xPosed apps makes it a no brainer for me at least. When Lollipop grows up enough to offer full xPosed support I'll be there in a heartbeat!
Tweaked is still my go-to. Played with lollipop a bit but kit Kat gives about 25 % better battery life. ...
Tweaked, lean kernel, xposed, xblast. Perfect for whatever you need / want. Tethering also seems to be undetectable unlike lollipop even with the tethering bypass module.

Personally I like SlimROM KK build 9

It seems you're open to trying lollipop.
I'd suggest using Orion LP Rom v1.7
It's lollipop v5.1.1 & there has a nice build for the Note 3 HLTE by Lord Ecko
I am using it & have most of my Xposed modules running on it. The few ones that aren't working have not been updated to work with lollipop so it's not an choose xposed framework compatibility issue.
Let me just say that I have no regrets finally ditching kitkat because my note 3 has never run this good. It's super fast, silky smooth & I get better battery life (both stand by & screen on time)
