Any chance we get any Android 5.0 Lollipop custom ROMs?
Probably. But that depends on when Google will release the files for the final version of AOSP Lollipop. There was a version of Jellybean that Google released late and everyone complained. The other factor is if someone will develop/port a lollipop aosp rom. I'm sure someone will port the Nexus 5/6/7 version of the rom since they run Snapdragon processors.

I recieved my phone last week and did the update then root and twrp. I see that some roms are 4.4.4 but my phone still says 4.4.2 .. Why is this ? Was the update I did not to go from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4? Is there 4.4.4 out now for G3? I am with TMO
There are two different types of roms for our phone, Stock(LG) and AOSP(cyanogenmod, deviantxone, etc). Your likely on the LG stock rom, which at the moment is only 4.4.2 . AOSP based roms are on 4.4.4

Not unless you load a custom rom based off aosp 4.4.4. There is currently no lg g3 on stock 4.4.4. Lg will likely skip 4.4.4 and go right to 5.0 or at least that's my hopes they will.

One can only hope, more likely they will just announce another phone that will launch with 5.0. What I am holding out for its our aosp roms to get Bluetooth and camera before I switch to one of them as my daily.

Hi
New member to XDA here.
I was just wondering if anyone is developing or willing to develop a factory stock Android Lollipop ROM for N7105??
If possible.
Kind Regards
As a N7100, I hope we will see the roms in 2 weeks.
WHen will the custom rom in android L start rolling out
I read that Cynogen will release its version only after 3 months after official android release? if thats the case its January
Well aosp source is uo why dont you just build a aosp rom.. it would be alot smoother and more lightwieght than cyanogenmof

is there any rom based lollipop?
or someone working on it?
I doubt Samsung will update the s3 to Android L and it will take time to port the ROM to the msm8960. I think it will eventually happen. I'm just not sure how quickly this will happen or how stable it will be.
I know we will have to see what the future brings but, are there any developers willing to develop custom roms for us Tab S owners?
I know CM12 is Available for the Non-LTE Variants, i am an LTE owner so, i dont have any sort of Lollipop on my T705, was just wondering, since Custom Development for T705 has stopped for a while (besides IronRom which is mainly a 805, and SkyHigh, which is my daily driver)

CM12 is based on Lollipop.
Lollipop was Officially released quite a few months ago, what hasnt been released is Lollipop for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S Product Line.
So my question was, if we are to expect custom development from the current developers for the Tab S when Samsung releases its base rom for the Tab S, since this is a no-so-popular device.

Cm12 is based on lollipop/stock android. Why? Because someone ported/built a working build to make it work. Samsung takes ages to release lollipop.

See, this was something I was afraid of hearing because wouldn't there be a difference between ported/built working vs official samsung bult that is fully functional? Not saying the other cm12 isn't functional, my insecurity says theres ought to be something between developing a working carbon copy and the real version.

What do you mean with the "real and carbon copy" versions?
Samsung implements a framework on top of android called Touchwiz for their devices, it's more than just a skin, and the personalization takes time. Samsung decides which devices to be updated first based on the sales of the device or if it's a new device as a magnet for sales.
CM(XX) is much closer to the The Stock Android Experience (AOSP), but since Samsung uses a closed code, and drivers, an implementation is never as perfect as an "Official" one. This is mainly due to the fact that CM implementations are more ports than direct implementations, but neither is a copy or the other, just two different approaches, and different outcomes.
I will still continue development of my SkyHigh kernels for LP TouchWiz based firmware. It's what I'll be using ..... unless I manage a miracle to scrounge the cash for the upcoming 8" Tab S2
Once firmware and LP kernel source is released, then I can start .
I'm running the latest version of the Remixed Rom which is lollipop 5.0.2. Do I still need to update my whole Device to the new firmware or is it enough to have the rom installed.?
And if I do have to to still install the firmware could somebody point me to a how-to that makes it as simple as possible?

I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean by "is it enough to have the ROM installed?" but if you like the ROM you're running then just keep using it until the developer updates it.
I mean, do I need to install the firmware AND the rom or is the rom by itself all I need?
