how to get any apps on multiwindow ?

hello guys,
title says it all. i am wondering if we can apply this mod on t889 ? has anybody tried ? i am running deodexed ROM but want to hear more from the community about this.

i am still lost. went through dev section, the closest possibility is [ROM][4.1.2]N7105XXDLK7 MultiWindow Control [25 Dec][Bullet Kernel v1.9.12b]. but my build number is not supported. i am on UVALK8, deodexed, OS 4.1.1.

Any TW ROM in the TMO dev thread. Does not matter your build # you will have a newer build then. (After you also flash the newer radio)

You don't need to run a custom rom. I am rooted on tmobile stock rom and have the multiview hack working flawlessly.

Android 4.3 on Korean Note 2?

Hi guys!
First of all I am sorry for posting in this forum but I believe Korean Note 2 is similar in many aspect to N7105 and also there are devs who can read and maybe come up with something.
I have a question for you. Has anyone tried an Android 4.3 custom ROM on e250s (Korean Note 2) ? I am currently on 4.1.2, a combination of Milan 3.0 and Milan 4.0 (I think this ROMs are also for N7105 because in About device section my phone appears to be a N7105 after flashing), with some stock kernel and cwm. I have tried a few 4.3 ROMs for N7105 (CM 10.2, Beanstalk, Illusion) but all get stuck at the boot logo (Samsung Galaxy Note 2). I even tried different kernels, compatible with 4.3 (SJKernel and NeKo) but again, with no luck.
Do you have a solution, link, idea?

Yes. My actual ROM is 4.1.2. I have tried Jedi X19 (4.1.2) and also BeanStalk, Illusion, CM 10.2 (4.3), with the same result. Stuck at boot screen logo.

Hi guys!
Is anyone else having issues with vibrations when using a N7105 ROM (with Android 4.2.2 or 4.3)? I mean the phone does not vibrate at all.
Do you know a fix or something?

Hi. This is the link to the boot converter.

All you have to do is flash this zip file from cwm after you first flash the ROM.
I have tried Illusion and PAC-MAN ROMs (N7105, Android 4.3) and also MIUI v5 for N7105 (Android 4.2.2) and all work fine.
There may be some ROMs (PAC-MAN) that give you "error 7" when flashing. You have to change the first line from META-INF/com/google/android/update script.
How I do that. I prefer to change the ROMs extension from zip to apk, then unzip it using APK Tool and go to the file, change extention to .txt and delete the first line (the one that starts with assert), thus the first line becoming the one with "show progress" or "mount". After that I zip it again with APK Tool and sign the ROM with ApkSign. I do not know why, I cannot sign it with APK Tool. After that, the flashing process should go fine. You have to install the right GApps for the ROM you are being flashing and then the boot converter from the link.
The only issue I have found was the absence of vibrations, but I managed to get it back by flashing Thor Kernel for Note 2, like cbeta1111 and eggymustdie told me. So huge thanks to them.
Good luck! Hope you will manage to install the desired ROM. In my opinion, PAC-MAN ROM is the best so far, with many, many options from CM, AOKP and Paranoid Android ROMs.

I am using TWRP touch custom recovery. would this process work for TWRP?
I did not get second part about changing first line from META-INF/com/google/android/update script. where is that? You mean first line of custom 4.3/4.2 ROMs we are going to install?
and also do call recoding work in 4.3/4.2 PAC ROMS because i actually use this function and multi windows ?

Hi. It should definitely work with TWRP recovery as it installs like a normal zip file ROM.
The update script file is located in the ROM. You have to unzip it and go to that location as I have said in the anterior post.
Call recording works but I did not figured yet how to play the file after it is saved. It saves the file as a .3gpp but I think the problem is with Android 4.3 codecs.
EDIT: It works if you try to play it from the built in file manager. Not with Root Explorer. Do not know why.
Multiwindows work great in PAC-MAN ROM:

Idk what I did wrong i flashed then i was stuck at a bootload at the samsung note 3 screen..... But this has happen with all the tw lollipop roms i have tried to flash so i dont know what i am doing wrong

in philz rec choose the option wipe to install clean rom and flash the Rom aafter just reboot the device let it boot its normal for it to take up to 10 minutes during the first boot
I am also on N900T it is working great

Ok.... Will try again So I dont need to flash a kernal?? For some reason I believe my problem is the kernal because any time I flash a custom rom and dont flash a kernal the rom doesnt want to boot up and Im stuck on the note 3 screen

Thanks for the ROM. I'll be testing and report back on how it works for me.
One issue I immediately see if that wifi seems to not be working for me. Every time I try and turn it on, it is either greyed out and I can't toggle it, or if I am able to toggle it, it just doesn't do anything. I rebooted, still same issue. I think I flashed it properly (I wiped data, cache, dalvik, system), but I may try flashing again.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix for this?
EDIT: Did a second full wipe and flash and still no wifi. Everything else seems to work connection wise, airplane mode, bluetooth, mobile data, just not wifi.

You can look in the ROM thread for a fix...on page 4 or 5.

DPI change?
Hey, the ROM is still going smooth. No real issues so far (except my battery life isn't as good as before, but it's not terrible or anything).
I have been trying to change the DPI on this ROM, but I have not been able to make it stick. I have tried using the build prop editor app as well as directly editing the build prop via ES File Explorer. Neither has worked. Has anyone been able to change their DPI or is there something specific that I need to do to get it working?

i didn't tried it i have no mhl cable.
if its not working there's no solution for now.

@alex when i try to apply white theme in the rom it doesnt chng to white but in candyrom the theme changes its color !!!!

Thats the price to use validus for now...not themable yet.
I mean yeah, u can theme, but frameworks been changed to black, so themers and validus head dev working on this kind of issue...

Not sure if its something I did wrong but I lost root after update. Supersu tried to update binary then said no root. Will try to install again.
Maybe is was something I did. Wiped caches and flashed ROM plus PA gapps and root is back. Awesome ROM thanks!

Query on Recovery
Hello, Good Day!!!
I am currently using this ROM and I want to back up the this to try other ROMs. How can I back up this ROM since there are no back up feature in the CM Recovery?
Do I need to flash other kernel (example advance kernel) that has recovery to back up the ROM then reflash the CM kernel again?

flash twrp onto fota partition and make a nandbackup from it, or else use titanium backup pro app....or superbackup there's plenty

Can you me a link for the procedures on flashing twrp onto fota? I'm afraid that i might use an incompatible procedures that may break my phone?
I cannot use titanium back up in case of bootloop right? I should use nandroid back up.

i used xperia recovery manager .. there is a thread in the cross dev section ..

Am I the only that cannot connect to Mobile Network using this rom? Wifi is working fine, however, when connecting thru mobile it cannot establish any connection. I've also encountered this in the new version of Candy5.

revert back to previous build as there are issues on calling from cm .

no, actually now i am facing this issue on ressurrection remix .. as many others are ..but on latest candyrom 1.0.0 i had 3g working just fine with clean wipe

We had different experience since i do not have issue on calling on Candyrom. Just the mobile network.

in settings when you click on Privacy, it says backup & reset at the top...
also in 'the void/statusbar' 'clock style hidden' does not stay after a reboot or even after unlock screen the clock reapears but the setting says hidden... these things are bugs right?
what did cm12 have to change to fix the wakelocks on google services? something about mixmatched versions?

yes these are bugs
i didn't get you on mixmatched thing what u mean?

The zip is called "gapps_kitkat_minimal-20150410", I used to flash them for all over the time, with KK roms, and have not noticed this message. For me the rom with franco kernel is smooth enough, and soo beautiful, I'm in love with the UI. I will try today with another gapps package. Please send me PM, becuause I can not see the posts in this thread.

I tried the rom , it's fast enough for daily use and very nice but I was not able to install the franco kernel . The installation hangs . Other kernels can use?
I also had problems connecting the MiBand via bluetooth . Does anyone know help me ?
If I can not solve the problem , unfortunately I can not keep the rom .

Hi Genie,
i've run 5.7.24 builds, found little problem:
1. latest franco on your 2nd thread working not properly, themes-updater force closing
2. Service provider always show "No Service" at status bar, but actually connect
can you advise how to solve point 2?

I've run 5.7.24 . the ROM is fast , I'm using it with fancy 60. I confirm that there is a root . But battery life is slightly bad.
with franco kernel there is FC me too

it's possible download only the incremental pack and flash it on recovery or i need download the full rom? i run the 24.7 with stock kernel.
if yes, wype only cache and dalvik right?

Yes it working well..i'm running v6 with stock kernel and no problem with connect a miband with ufficial xiaomi app.

are you running the latest version ? does the theme and other apps crash without even opening them ?

Yes, I use the latest version. I had FC when I'm using the francoe kernel. I think the stock kernel is better. or you can try the dirty-v sr that's good too.

Yep..i tried f2fs a time ago with another rom but not seemed better..so i use ext4 with lagfix after a flash.

I'm using v7... Very smooth!
You are speak about a tips:
- use kernel dirty v but i have much reboot with it.
- what are L speed tweek? ?
