Hello guys,
Today I want to present you my ported Motorola Camera, Gallery and Launcher for custom roms like Cyanogenmod.
Everything works: only tested on XT1032 but should work on others too, tell in this thread if your device is supported. (Currently bugs are HDR on GPe and slowmotion on CM11 and GPe too...)
REPORTED WORKING ON GPE too! @iks8 ALSO WORKING ON OTHER DEVICES RUNNING AOSP/LOLLIPOP!

Just flash in recovery, it will replace Cyanogenmod's Gallery and Camera by my ported ones.
If you want to acces the stock Wallpapers, enter Launcher, long press Background and select Backgrounds Launcher.

What ROM are you using?
(It's because the rendering for pause and slow motion doesn't work with the Cyanogenmod kernel...)

Weird, what ROM and Recovery are you using?

After I flashed and it deleted the camera I booted back into recovery and tried flashing again, still no camera
I then flashed a different upgraded camera zip and it brought a camera back

tried flashing and it wont flash due to something with Loki, installation aborted. NEVER had this issue before.
actually..oddly enough it will still boot. you must have loki mod installed and my recovery is aborting it because it is a TMO variant
and Wifi does not work.. which happens to be a kernel issue.
flashed a diff kernel.

I couldn't flash it neither. I kept getting an error in TWRP. Already check md5

@Lochman79 what did u do specifically to get it to install? It has the Loki patch to it, so users are experiencing difficulties...

yes I said I can install it. I get an installation aborted message but that's because of the Loki patch but I can boot right into it.
and Wi-Fi does not work. a flash of a different kennel fixes it

I found this GalleryNext APP that has been extracted from the Cyanogenmod 11S and I have tested it on my Nexus 4 and its working
Install as normal apk.

Instructions:
Copy the apk to sys/app and set permission to rw-r-r and reboot. Before doing that take a nandroid and then push the apk to that specified folder

Even its not working on Omni Rom. If you are on ART it wont work. I haven't tested it on ART.
But
I am on F2fs MAhdi latest build with hellsdoctor. ALL working good. Tested each and every feature of the camera.
P.S : install it as a normal apk.

Dont know why its not working on your side.. mine is working good..
A bug I found You cant set picture as Wallpaper from the new Gallery.
Really nice. Installed on N5XP 7.3.1 and all is working. I love having volume button zoom and power button shutter options.

Really like this camera and especially the gallery. One thing though: everytime I upload a picture from gallery (which I have shot with this camera as well) is named "temp.jpeg" instead of 20140000_000000 date and time :/

Why go to JB 4.2.2? IS it more stable or better in battery life than 4.4.2 kitkat? I always think that JB was better.

some Z apps,mods are incompatible with kitkat...
Out of curiosity does this work with the newest modem/bootloader for the 4.4 update? It didn't specify in the op, so figured I'd ask.

I've tried it on a 4.3 modem... I747M ... I don't know if it'll work on a 4.4 modem...

when im free, ill be continuing this ROM
Been using it for two days now and I love the ROM man!
The UI looks beautiful and I fell in love with that keyboard.
Really fluid and snappy.
This is ported camera app for s3 from archiport rom working with both 4.4.2 and 4.4.4 ported samsung roms only.

While watching slow-motion video that I recorded, has no sound. I don't know weather it should be this way or not.

Thank you. Working fine on 4.4.2 qs-i9300-kk.
Its normal to have no sound during playback of recorded slow motion or fast motion videos.

I'm on an 9305 with a rom 4.4.4 XXUFNI3 and after to have install it, nothing to change. I haven't option slow or fast motion.

I think this is only for 9300...
No it works on an 9305
Did you all realize that the 4.4.4 GS3 Camera includes Sound & Shot feature? So the question here does this Note II Camera have the feature as well as fast and slow motion? @RazOne @daoudedy
