Is there any way to get T mobile Wifi calling on the Z1 compact? Any help would be appreciated.
Your provider must have this service in his offer
I have t mobile, but I don't see the option on the stock android rom. I bought the z1 compact unlocked.
I think it should works automaticly when your phone has Wi-Fi connection. But firstly t mobile must offer this service call to t mobile and check

Hallo guys, I wanna ask you about Xperia Ion mobile data. I was wondering why is the mobile data run so slooow. Even it's in H+ but it seems like on GPRS . But, when change the phone to S3 Mini (with the same provider) it run like H+ should be. I've tried to change the ROM with the custom but it still the same. I bought my phone from Japan and I am herein the Philippines and I noticed recently that when I am connect to mobile data, the logo shown is "R" meaning roaming, no 3g or lte appearing. What must I do to remove it from roaming? I tried turning roaming off but i can't connect to internet. When roaming is on only R and no 3g icon, even if mobile data off the R icon is still present.
If I am to root this or flash to remove docomo software, what must I do then? Please help

On Z1 board, there have a guy who bought a JP model of z1 and he tried to flash a HK firmware to replace the JP rom and fix the LTE problem and works. So, I think you can try but I don't promise, make sure your phone is not sim locked.
And there is two z1 compact of JP models available in JP. The old one is Z1f(SO-02F) and new one is Z1 A2(SO-04F). I think there is no different, SO-04F just got more color and the camera software supports 2K recording(but still no 4K ...lol).
It's just a suggestion but a more descriptive thread title might get more responses...

I hope that it will work. I haven't tried rooting and flashing before so I am a little scared about it. But i don't see any ways to do this. Thanks a lot man!
I have Just updated my phone to marshmallow hoping to get wi-fi calling but it still asks to activate advanced calling.
Is there any chance that i can bypass this to get wi-fi calling?
Also in case if i ask my friend to activate it using his SIM and later insert my T mobile sim will i still be able to use it?

Some people here have had to get Verizon to set HD calling up for them, especially if they've had it turned off. T-Mobile may be the same way.
If I recall, Verizon users were able to turn the feature on online.

Then I'm afraid you're stuck. It looks like HD calling is a prerequisite for wifi calling. Both, while sharing the same technical standards, are run by the carriers.

yes, I mean that. when i tap on Wifi hotspot ON-OFF it says no network or invalid sim. same in usb tethering option. but sim is working fine in 4g network in mobile and internet working fine also in mobile. if still i am unable to make you understand then i can send error screen shot.
Does your carrier have to enable hotspotting? I'm in Canada and some carriers need to turn on the tethering for the account.

No, I am in India and using JIO 4G network - Indian sim (not AT&T) and they don't required to enable hotspotting from their network.

I am too facing this problem with Indian JIO network. Is there a way to enable WiFi Tethering ? Can flashing CM helps overcome this issue ?
I have the G710ulm unlocked and am with Cricket. When I try to use the hotspot I get. "A networking issue may be preventing use of of your mobile hotspot. Please call customer care at 611." I also have a unlocked Essential Phone but I use the hotspot on that with my cricket sim it works, no issues at all. Just wondering if anyone else has had this same problem

I'm having the same problem. I purchased the LG G7 at Project Fi (Google Fi) and the plan I'm using is Red Pocket. Does anyone know how to fix this?
