samsung ROMs are the worst $hit in this world , we dont need them anymore , better go with CM,PA,mokee, carbon , these are the most powerful ROM makers.
Just want to use those gyroscope gesture controls.

Trust me u won't be using them. They are just gimmicks, based on my experience.
Buy A S4 then lol....MiUi is beautiful ROM available
There is a app which can enable those for you , so no need to go to samsung, but still if you like samsung ui then look for touchwiz theme for cm11 and download the air gesture app...

Launchers are different, you can make your own personal launcher that looks similar to touchwiz and you can run it on stock or aosp ROMs like any other third party launcher out there. That's why you are able to use the Google Launcher, Next Launcher etc on AOSP 4.2, 4.3 as well as 4.4 ROMs
But when it comes to actual apps like S-Note, S-Memo, Samsung Keyboard, they are have dependencies on the Samsung Firmware and therefore are a big pain to even try to port to a non-stock ROM
Ok...thnks for the info. I think i need to switch to other launcher.

hello there
i will ask you if anyone can port the stock browser for CM. i really like the back-button on screen feature.
and the second Thing is i want the stock camera app, because the stock camera has a lot of features that i miss in CM camera.
it would be great
The camera features i doubt can be ported. They only work on stock for a reason. Stock Roms contain certain files that allow for the camera features to work which are not included in CM. Not sure about the browser

I also wish we had the original LG camera but in the meanwhile you can try with ProCapture if you don't like the Focal or the stock Android Camera.

How about the quick memo application. Is it also difficult to port to CM..?
Its the most handy feature for me with the quick button.

Well screw me. Thanks for proving me wrong man. Not a lot of people can port over stock features for certain devices. Good job! You think it will be able to be used on MIUI Roms?

Does anyone think its possible to use pie controls to show a few user defined apps when removing the S Pen? I would be using in conjunction with Note Buddy, I'm just trying to get similar functionality as you would on a TouchWiz ROM.
Thanks!

Man that seems like a pretty sweet idea. I'd be interested to know this too.
Hopefully a dev could pick the idea up and bake it into one of these awesome ROMs!

Does anyone know of a way to get the double tap to wake feature to work on the 8.4? I had it on my G Pad and thought it was pretty handy.

Has anyone come across an xposed mod or any way to make this happen?

That would require someone incorporating it into a custom kernel. There's really not any kernel devs working on these devices.
