I need help. I installed a new ROM (Parandroid 4.6) and now I just can't get into recovery, and Im stuck without Gapps. When I do it manually It just gets stuck in a black screen, and the blue led is on. If I do it through the power menu it just reboots manually.
I hope someone can help me, its urgent.

You can not enter always into recovery. Then just change your Rom or do it with pc

Hi,
I've attempted the JB update
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1737899..
fastboot flash boot boot.img etc.. which said all was well..
But now find that my phone will not boot up, doesn't get past the Google and unlock screen.
I've tried all combinations of volume buttons, I can get to the fasboot menu where I can choose either Recovery Mode, Power Off, Start or Restart bootloader.
None of these appear to do anything, recovery goes to the google a screen followed by an Android on it's back with an exclamation mark over it.. then goes to the Google and unlocked icon screen and stays there...
I fear my phone is bricked... Please help..

1.) Your phone is far from bricked at all. You have access to the boot loader (i.e. the screen with the options). The recovery you're seeing is stock recovery. All you need to do is go into boot loader and fastboot flash recovername (CWM) and you will have your custom recovery back to wipe data and reinstall a rom or restore a nandroid backup
Mine is doing the same thing, weird thing is, it was working since yesterday on jellybean, it just randomly froze this morning and and now won't boot..
im currently at work so i don't have admin rights to do a fastboot flash..
any idea why it would randomly stop working when i havn't flashed anything on it besides the jb rom?
Sorted..
Thanks for the comments.. yeah i was over-reacting a bit there..
I downloaded the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit, got a stock rom form gopogle, flashed it.. back to normal, well, it will be after i restore the CWM backup i took.. phew..
Thanks again
Ian.
Still stuck
I'm also stuck in the same situation(google with the unlock screen). I fear I'm a little more stuck. I also can see the recovery/restartbootloader screen. However, everything I try still comes back to that same google screen and gets hung up. Need some help!
this has happened twice today and i think it from using volume+

Boot into recovery, wipe cache, Reboot
I'm using an HTC One X.
Originally I installed a rooted app that made my phone go into a black screen and wouldn't boot up, and yet still I am able to see the "HTC quitly Brilliant" screen.
I decided to just reinstall the OS/ ROM.
I booted into power down and power button ( Bad english, sorry really frustrated ) and then I tried to install CWM but every time I attempt to restart the phone it just sits on the HOX quietly brilliant screen.
Any help would be much appreciated
P.S
Got recovery mod to work with TWRP, stupid me wiped everything...

Hello guys,
I just got my oem unlock permission and flashed the latest recovery. After backing up i tried to install a rom like AICP. After instaling I hit "reboot". The first boot screen comes up and after this a the sreen turned black with a long vibation and the LED tuned blue. No booting.
Can someone help me? I've read something in a closed DEV Thread but there was no suggestion.
Thanks for any help.
press and hold your power button. A simple reboot is what you need.

If only unlock permission without unlock bootloader then install custom rom or custom recovery you are in big trouble
If you already unlocked bootloader, i think you need to flash twrp 3.1.0 instead of 3.0.3.
Don't know why, but after switching tu TWRP 3.1 the issue was gone. Thank you titou!
Solved
hi, i was on pure nexus rom, and since some websites were not opening in chrome, i decided to do a clean flash in hopes of getting the issue fixed. but, while booting to recovery, the screen suddenly turned black when pressing the button combo. now i'm unable to boot into recovery, neither the phone is turning on. i get the 5 seconds screen but am unable to do anything as phone doesn't get detected in adb. please assist.

I'm unable to do so. Even when i select recovery option from bootloader, i still get the black screen. For about a millisecond or so, i can see an inverted screen(upside down screen) with the android logo. And then the screen goes black.
Hi, In my Lenovo P2 I updated Majisk through recommended mode, it asked to reboot, but phone not rebooting. Boot screen appears and then vibrates for few seconds with blue led light and then phone goes blank/dark with blue led on. I couldn't able to use my phone now. Please help. Thanks in advance.
p.s I tried Magisk uninstaller through twrp flash. After flashing, now phone is rebooting and directly going to twrp recovery. No blue led and vibration now. Can anybody help with further fix? Any help is hugely appreciated. thanks in advance
extract boot.img from Rom file you installed. Go to twrp, go to install image option , flash boot partition with that image..
your device will boot, then perform the root steps again as u will loose the root. The problem here is that magisk messes up the boot partition..
I have already made a post year ago for this problem. hope this helps
