issues with network connection
im fairly new to rooting, and flashing roms, i have successfully flashed the jedi elite rom onto my Note 3(n900t) however i have no network connection.
upon startup it says kernel is not seandroid enforcing, i dont know if that has anything to do with it or not
any help would be great, thank you for your time

Firstly "not seandroid enforcing" is normal, all our phones say that.
Have you tried to insert a different Tmobile sim card, or tried to use
your sim card in a different Tmobile phone?
Before doing anything else that's what I would try just to make sure
that your sim card is not faulty.

Im actually moving the sim from another tmobile n3 which is not rooted, and I have no issues. I've also used a buddy of mines sim card and same issue on the rooted phone.

Well in that case it's best to start from scratch.
Here are four steps you can make which most likely will
solve any issues you have including the no network issue.
#1: Do a full and complete WIPE in TWRP recovery before flashing.
#2: Download and Odin flash the official stock N900T kitkat 4.4.2 firmware:
N900TUVUDNF9_N900TTMBDNF9_N900TUVUDNF9_HOME.tar
#3: Download and Odin flash CF-Autoroot:

#4: Download and Odin flash TWRP recovery:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...mo-4.4.img.tar
All done! If you have successfully done all the four steps you should be good to go!
Weak Vibration
Im in love with the rom! Awesome work! I just have a little issue. I installed this Rom to my Galaxy Note 3 N900T which is the T-mobile variant. Everything is working flawlessly but I notices that the Vibration for notifications, calls, alarms etc. are really weak can barely feel it in my pocket. I tried going into the settings/sounds/Vibration intensity and putting everything to the Max but it still very weak. Is there any way to increase the vibration levels?

Never mind people, for anyone having this issue just reboot and the settings should increase the vibration sensitivity. Thanks for the ROM Devs!

Hi I just had a question for anyone really. Google play movies and TV is not playing back any videos. If I just try to stream it I get a try again or troubleshoot message. If it is downloaded it does not start. I was wondering if anyone would know why. I think it might be that I downloaded them to my SD card on my last ROM. Other than that I have had no issues and absolutely love this ROM.

unfortunately im still unable to connect to the network.. granted, im using a saved recovery of jedi as i didnt want to set everything up again. will i have to use a fresh flash of this rom after this procedure? thanks in advance.

So, I love this ROM so far, it's super fast, but one feature it doesn't have, that stock and some other custom ROM's do, is wifi direct. I was able to enable it and connect with another samsung phone, but when I try to send or receive a file, it always fails. This dis not happen with hyperdrive, or stock. Is it possible to fix this? I know this isn't the newest phone out there, so it doesn't take priority, but anything helps.

In CM 11 when I open up an video in the browser it gives me the option to play the video through a videoplayer or send it through a remote like Yatse. Now it just asks for Flash, any way to get the option to send browser video to video player?

Just flash to this ROM cause I have to use an app that requires a newer version of Android, good so far but I can't seem to disable the touch key light. The settings duration is not working at all. 1.5 seconds, 6 seconds, Always On and Always Off, none of these work. Any solution? Thanks.

problem with sound
I have a problem , do not know if it is due to kernel ( agni 4.3.4 ) or the rom I have ( wesam othman 7.0). What happens is that when I use sports tracker and radio, it goes for a while (always with headphones) , but suddenly the audio is low and when I see the celu sound is step one to " silence" . Turn up the volume and back down alone.
Even from the panel I see as the sound "multimedia" will be only silence.

I really like the concept of a stock ROM with lots of improvements, so your rom fits all i want but still i got a problem and maybe you can help me. When i install the v7 i get all working good but i have a problem with superSU it says the application cant find his binaries and cant be fixed by playstore app.. Only problem is that im on linux right now and i cant make heimdall or Jodin work so im unable to flash via-pc the cf root so i cant even try to fix it.. What can i do by phone? is there a fix you can provide?

This rom is amazing. Now actualy install rom of ditto n4 for my note 2 and is very petty and much features but... have lag and delay in explorer... and not.is fast fast...

Thanks for your time and efforts in putting this together.
I have been looking for a decent ROM for the N7100 which I use as my travel phone when I am on holiday. This is PERFECT. I downloaded it, set it up and my phone is much better than when it was a brand new phone and when it was a daily driver. I used many ROM's but this is the most stable. Not a single hitch in your V7.0 after a couple of days of continuous testing.

Yes. I had this issue. I did some reading and found that it is a common issue with KitKat and old boot loaders. You need to upgrade your bootloader and all reflash.

this is most stable rom I've seen - I've been trying lot of them and every one have some problems, really even Omega which I flashed after this rom and have microlags - stock is stock, no way around it

I've just updated from Pac-Man AIO 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 (RC-3) and everything went smoothly but I'm having trouble with a strange connectivity problem. All my data works, mms, sms, everything, but at some point after running for a while my data drops connection (though it still shows full connectivity, it just won't load anything or send anything) and needs a reboot.
Anyone have any ideas? I'm on a T-Mobile T999 with Wind service in Canada.

I searched the thread and found a few posts about a lack of Wifi Calling for Tmobile in this ROM. Just out of curiosity, has this changed any? Where I live this is basically a necessity due to poor service and it'd really be bad times to miss important phone calls, which has been known to happen until I wander by a window long enough for service to grace me with its presence.
If not, is there some kind of work around? I've looked around and can only find posts from a year or so ago. So i'm guessing either it got fixed or people gave up haha.

I installed the Pac Man Rom and it seems to run fine except I don't have access to google play or any google apps. I installed the gapp pack and still no luck. Now I am trying to run Odin to clean everything back up and I cant. PacMan has its own recovery mode, and when i plug in the cell, Odin doesn't recognize it. Any suggestions? Basically I am trying to run a ROM that is just efficient. I tried one previously and I didnt have WiFi. Now, I don't have google play service to download apps. Any suggestions? Issues with notifications, home button - PAC ROM, SGH-T999
Hey y'all! First of all, thanks for the forum, I am using a T-Mobile SGH-T999.
Second of all, I'm having some issues with my recent install of PAC Man ROM (pac_d2lte-release-20141231.zip with gapps4.4.4). The first issue I'm experiencing has to do with the notification drop-down. After I restore from Titanium Backup, I cannot see the tiles or notifications under the notification drop-down. I've browsed through the PAC Settings pretty extensively and have not found a solution to my issue. I did find the tile ribbon that I can activate but it is still inadequate, especially when it comes to notifications.
I do not know if this is a related issue to the one above but, after restoring from Titanium, I do not get a lock screen unless it is on the first boot; after that point, I can make the screen go black with the power button but, when pressed to wake up, the lock screen doesn't come back. Prior to restoring the backup from Titanium, I have no problem getting to the lock screen.
The final issue I am dealing with has to do with the 'home' button on the device. I first thought perhaps it was a hardware issue but, after turning on PIE controls and the navigation buttons, it seems that pressing 'home' does nothing at all.

Not sure what happened to with this rom. Started out as my favorite, had every feature I wanted but between issues with the camera recording and force closes, lags, and automatic irregular reboots, I've been forced to switch roms. Can the devs please work out a fix and release a new update? Would like to come back to this.

BTW, I'm getting closer and closer to giving up on custom roms in general. I don't think I can go on with persistent instability, and even when the roms are stable - important functions like the camera don't work. I've been on a mission to find a 4.3/4.4 and above custom rom that's stable and has a workable camera/recorder. If anyone know of any please let me know..

It took a longer time than normal to install - like OP said. But it did flash, and it did boot (after a while)
However, there are no data connection, and there are no keyboard.
Any idea how to solve that?
EDIT:
I solved the problem with the keyboard.
Settings -> Language & input - > current keyboard. Slide the "Hardware" option to on.
Still no data connection

Data is not working on my T-Mobile note 2 after installing rom. I will get 3G for about 1 second and then it will disappear. It comes back every few seconds and then disappears again.

Team UB already support for n7100, you must only waiting it out. and tweaks and everything about touchwiz then.........nope, lol. don't ask. if you like touchwiz s5, you can make build for yourself

hey guys i installed this rom on my n7105 last night and when i got to use mobile data the 3g icon just blinks one once then its gone it doesnt work.. any ideas?
So far ive concluded that i really like lollipop
However, this version is unfortunately too buggy for me.
There are no data connection - and i assume there is no solution to that, since OP havnt responded to it.
Using the "call button" in the text notification isnt working either.
The system profiles, does not trigger on connecting to WIFI networks.
Good job porting the rom - but it needs a bit of work yet imo
Everything works fine except the wifi reboot thing and the application not installed problem. But anyway i love using this rom so much, so thanks for your work

Is it t0lte you have, or one of the phone from an US carrier? like at&t or something?
Happy to say its been about 15 hours since install and I haven't had any issues at all. Phone, data, SMS, cameras, updating apps, FB, xda, email (gmail, yahoo), etc are all working fine. No issues, FCs or RRs to report! Definitely has become my DD! Thanks to the devs who have took the time to keep our GN2s still a force to be reckoned with! :thumbup:

Hello all. Installed this ROM 5 days agoo. Runs Berry smooth and not battery or hotspot problems for me. The only thing is that 3g doesnnot connect anymore. It connected wel the first day But after that daay it didnt connect anymore. Anyone experience the same problem? Im using stock kernel

Has anyone had any trouble with Google play movies instantly crashing on open? All other video apps open fine. Tried reinstalling the app and clearing data. Currently running nightly from 26th.
Everything else is working perfectly including moto360 and chrome os trusted unlocking.

Issue when powered down and charging
First off want to say am loving the tomorrow and a big thank you to everyone for all their work the only issue I have found is that when I power down the phone at night to charge it freezes up on the empty battery image. Not sure if this is cause of the rom or not.

Your link for Gear VR Definitve Rom NJ5 V1.0 seems to be broken.
I had to remove the working links in my reply due to low post count.
It seems that to try to get this running is kinda hard with the VR.

I was excited when I found the stock odin thread because I have the N910V NJ5 but then I realized they were just flashing my stock Rom on to the DE. This is the first android phone I have had in a long time and I got it because I wanted to root it. But apparently I didn't do enough research it was a last minute decision to grab the note instead of the iPhone 6+ I had in my hand.
Gear VR on 1.6?
I just read through this whole thread. Great stuff!
I either missed it or there isn't any confirmation yet that Gear VR works on v1.6. Can anyone report their findings on this?

I'm having issues writing to my external SD card with version 1.6 of this rom. I can write files to the SD card without a problem, but once I reboot all new files are gone with only the new folders remaining. Any ideas?

Through help in another thread, this was occuring because of a bad sd card. My old 64gb card works without issue.
Factory Reset
Has anyone having issue with the Factory Reset with this ROM? When I rest the phone, instead of taking to the window to erase all data, it takes me to the wi-fi settting. Thanks.

Try doing a factory reset through TWRP recovery or by reflashing the ROM zip file.
My baseband is 910VVRU1ANJ5... Is it a DE phone? Or is it so obvious that I would know if I had a DE phone? Thanks!
Did you buy it straight from Samsung, did you pay full price, did it say Developers Device on the box, under the battery and when you boot into download mode does it say "unlocked"? If not then ...no.

I just came over from FireKat ROM because I wanted to my Note with a Gear VR and noticed the status bar on the home screens is black. Tried some Xposed Modules to get rid of it and have a transparent status bar like I did with FireKat but I'm unable to fix the situation. Any ideas or is the status bar just always black with Definitive?
im running 1.6, do i need to do a complete wipe before upgrading to 1.9? or can i just do a cache/davlik wipe?

I flashed the TWRP recovery and rooted, but I am having my doubts on flashing this ROM because I have a different baseband than the one in the title (N910VOYU1ANJ5). My question is, will I pork my new toy by flashing this, or will I be fine. I tried googling and couldn't find a definite answer either way. Thanks in advance.

Sorry I'm still relatively new to Andriod and never rooted or messed around on the filesystem of my Note 4 before. But after going through the apps (and permissions they have) after my phone was explioted from a hardcore BIOS rootkit I got on my computer, and the hacker that followed. It is absolutly crazy the stuff that comes stock on these phones, makes me kind of sick. Needs cleaned, I don't even like carrying it and I'm using a No Root Firewall, which makes me even sicker when I look at the log of blocked access to all this junk. Done ranting.
Seems to be relatively straight forward as far as a Linux-esk filesystem layout. Just confirming this will still work fine on a ANJ5 build, not ever turning the phone back in to verizon so that doesn't matter.
Another random question, anyone point me in the correct direction for possibly running from an SD card or dual booting this model note 4 with a linux OS. Could be a live instance or persistant, doesn't much matter to me. Rather have something like Debian or Kahli. Would be nice to be able to pen test from my phone.
