Hello
I have an Galaxy Tab S 8.4 LTE
I use documentsync because I need all my docs available and always synced with my servers (I do alot of work in the tablet, and sometimes I don't have Internet access for cloud services)
But I have a issue with documentsync (previosly I used Dropbox with Dropsync). It keeps failing to update the files/sync. Only when I force it disabling and enabling wifi, data and sync it, updates the new files.
What can I do?
Thanks

I was able to boot up, and I was upgraded from 4.1.1 to 4.2.1 when I did the data wipe. Starting over, I should have had a prompt to connect with gmail and download my contacts, but this didn't happen. My People app is unpopulated, so I chose to connect to "sign into an account". While I am sure of my login input, it didn't recognize this, and then the process ended with a "couldn't finish - couldn't open connection with the server" error. My contacts are backed up to my PC, but I want to sync them to Gmail for the future, and I should not have to side-load the Play app (if that's even possible). I do have the web browser, and voicemail functions, and they work. Any clue where to go from here?
Some standard apps are missing too, including the Play Store app!
hi
I'm using above device with 4.1.2 but having this issue with Gmail, Facebook YouTube etc on network data whereas I am able to browse normally on opera or but Wifi but no other browser.
I've tried all fixes I know of
- reset date and time
- factory reset X2
- editing hosts file

You need to make sure apn settings are correct for your carrier.
Thanks
APN settings have been verified. BTW I am able to browse on data network, howbeit it only works on opera...
Hi, Is there a easy way via an app, wi-fi transfer, usb device to device, to copy the apps and settings/passwords from a Non-rooted Verizon S5 phone to a non-rooted Note 10.1 (2014) tablet? Or do I have to manually download each app from the play store to the tablet? My phone apps should all be stored on the sdcard. I don't know where password data & etc is stored. Basically I want the tablet set up the same as my phone with same apps.
Thanks if anyone can help. I searched for any threads on this & didn't find anything, unless I didn't make the right search.
Helium
ClockworkMod makes a cool non-root backup solution called Helium. It has 2 components: A PC app and a local app you can get through the Play Store. There are some apps that will come back as disallowed for backup, but the majority of them will allow you to transfer your app data. I used it successfully when I upgraded my wife's tablet and my phone. It's also worth spending the 5 bucks to get the premium version as it will allow you to backup and restore the apps and data to your Google Drive (cloud) as well.
The only downside I have found to this app, other than the fact that some apps are not able to backup (i.e. Chase Mobile) is that you have to use the PC app to enable backups every time you restart your phone/tablet. When you initially download it, you have to connect your phone/tablet to your PC and enable the Helium backup. As long as you don't restart your phone/tablet, you can backup as much as you want on that particular session. If you have to restart either device for some reason, you'll have to re-authorize Helium to make backups. It can be annoying, but it's a small price to pay to transfer your existing data and apps.
PM me for links, as I haven't made enough posts to be able to include them here.
Hope that helps!

Hello Everyone. I have a Samsung Captivate Glide i927 (AT&T). It was running Omni ROM 4.4 but since the latest Google Play Services update keeps 'crashing' the phone (multiple pop-ups stating that Google Play Services has stopped), I have decided to go back to stock ICS 4.0.4
The problem now is that my Google account isn't syncing properly. My contacts, calendar, Keep notes are unable to sync. I keep getting an error that states that 'Sync is having problems.' I also can't connect to the Google account from certain apps like WhatsApp & SwiftKey keyboard and as a result, I can neither back my chats to Google Drive nor download my customs words for the SwiftKey keyboard app. I can however use the Google Drive app normally. The Play Store also works properly.
I have done everything that I can think of (& read online). They are:
1. Deleting the Google Play Services cache.
2. Emptied the phone's cache. I also formatted it & the Dalvik cache in CWM.
3. Removed my Google account from the phone. Restarted & added the Google account.
4. Reset the phone to factory settings.
5. Re-flashed the official/stock 4.0.4 ROM by using Odin.
6. Changed my Google account password to 'force' everything to 'reset' and resync.
7. I have added a hash prefix to the localhost IP address in the hosts file in the 'etc' folder. I have also deleted it.
Syncing still doesn't work for those services. I am at my wit's end. Please can anyone suggest a solution?
Thanks.
For some reason ever since I reset my 2 XL last week, I am unable to upload to Dropbox. Titanium Backup Sync ends with a network error, so does Dropsync, ES File Manager, Folder Sync, etc.
I did just try a network reset only on the phone, and that did not resolve the issue either?
What could be causing this??
My uploads work with Google Drive on the Pixel, I moved 914 files with Titanium Sync. I also fired up my old Nexus 6P and was able to Sync about 500 files to Dropbox with no problem on that phone. Is there something that I should delete and reinstall that might fix Dropbox uploads on my Pixel? I am thinking I might have restored something with TTBU that I shouldn't have is the cause of my problem?
So it automagically worked itself out, and now syncing the dropbox is working fine! :victory:
