Do you know what can I do in order to solve this issue ?
I suppose that this apk has native library compiled for ARM architecture. I not sure that the Fire TV is arm-based and then, there are probably conflicts.

If it is a free app,try getting a copy from 1mobile or aptoide,appchina,wandoujia,slideme,voga360,etc.
I had that message when trying to install Dolphin Browser (evozi'd) from the Play Store.
Then I tried getting the apk from 1mobile or another place and it installed.

Thanks, I already tried without success.
When I use adbFire, I do not get any message but it need a lot of time, and show a successful message.
But after that, I cannot found the application and it is not in the list of installed applications.

nm - grabbed the wrong file
Hmmm...I downloaded the zipfile, copied the unzipped files over to the Kindle, and tried to install using ES File Explorer. I was able to install YouTube just fine, but when I tried to install the "GoogleServicesFramework.apk" file, the installation failed with an "Application Not Installed" error message. Any ideas?
Yes, I do have the "Unknown Applications" permission set correctly, as I've sideloaded and installed a bunch of other stuff.

I have the same issue
I'm at work and my kindle is supposed to arrive today... but now that there is root, has anyone tried to install gapps by restoring them via titanium backup?
"Can't establish a data connection to the server"
Update 3:
Working Google Apps:
Voice
Talk
Maps
YouTube
Reader
Google+
Books
Gmail
Partially Working:
Market (Force Closes when updates or downloads are attempted)
UPDATE 2: All of my gapps are working now with the exception of Market. Any ideas as to how to get market running?
UPDATE: I was able to sign into my account, but the only app that doesn't force close is books. Market and gmail both force close when I try to open them.
I am online and able to surf the internet right now on my fire just fine . . . but for some reason when I try to sign into my google account I get the error
"Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server.
His could be a temporary problem or your phone may not be provisioned for data services. If it continues, call Customer Care."
Any ideas?
I am rooted and have BusyBox installed
Everything is working great for me except Talk, which won't install.
As far as the market, I have no problem installing it, but it doesn't create an icon. If I choose to open the market immediately after installing, however, it opens, and works flawlessly.
For those with the market issue, you may want to chmod the vending.apk to 6775 to correct permissions. Maybe that'll help? You'll have to do it locally with a terminal emulator though, I've had no luck getting ADB to give me root access.
The reason I mention chmod is, I had originally pushed the files out to the system/app folder manually, and set permissions, but I had no way to open the apps that way, since the fire is very picky on what it gives icon space to, unlike vanilla android.

This worked PERFECT. market works now - installed the apk by opening it from file manage on the kindle, then navigated to /data/app and fixed permissions - as to your google talk issue, I just copied talk.apk directly into /system/app, fixed permissions, and rebooted, and it showed up in ADW Launcher as installed and worked perfectly - doesnt show up in the kindle launcher tho.

Ah, makes sense. I haven't considered installing any other launchers yet.
I wonder what it is about the stock launcher that suppresses installed apps from showing up. It makes no sense to me that gmail and maps would show up as they should, but not the marketplace and talk.
Ok got Talk working perfectly. What's the correct permissions for the market?

did you install it by copying over the apk to the device and selecting it, or copy it directly to /system/app - it force closed on me if i copied it to /system/app, but if i just copied it over to the internal sd, selected it and installed, and then fixed the permissions of the installed vending.apk in /data/app, it worked.

There's other Google service (base files) need to be installed instead of only the Play Store or Gmail apk files for it to work. And the base file cannot be installed by normal way but .zip files through a custom recovery. You can get the base+App store from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ps-light-edition-google-apps-android-t2548351
After that you can just get the Gmail app from the Play store.

Pretty sure you will need root for that.
The .apk file should be in \data\app or possibly \system\app

I though you could make a back up with samsung-Kies and then pick the apk from the back up dir on your pc.
Thats what I did in the past and I'm not rooted.
Maybe I'm wrong but I see a lot of apk files in the back up dir.

That might work, I've never used Kies so I can't be sure. But all you need is the APK file, so if you can find it on your local PC then your good.

Just back it up with es file manager, zip it and send it via bluetooth..thats it
AnyShare from Lenovo (Link) is a nifty tool to send files from device to device. Have not tried it without root before maybe it works. You can send those app's apk that's already installed to another device.
All user installed apps are in \data\app and you don't need root to copy them out, just a file browser than can navigate to the folder. Some apps that are taken off the Play Store sometimes still appear in the All tab of the My Apps section so have a look there just in case.

Apkpure dot com has it.
I have the same problem but the app I'm looking for is 9Now which comes installed on my Sony TV and doesn't need a mouse to control. I want to copy the apk so I can install it on my shield.
I tried Solid explorer but 9Now doesn't show up on it even tho it is on my Home screen and works.
Any suggestions?

It's probably a system app and by default the file manager you're using is not showing system apps. See if there's an option to enable it.
I use X-Plore file manager and it has an "app manager" that lists all installed apps. By default though system apps are turned off, so I have to bring up the context menu and click on "show system apps".
After which I can find any app installed and back up the APK by creating a copy of it.
Solid Explorer shows system apps but it isn't listed amongst them. Will give X-Plore a try.
cheers
UPDATE: Tried X-Plore, Same thing neither 9Now nor ABC iView appear yet both are displayed on the Recommended apps list and work when clicked on. Odd thing is they never work first time, only second time. It's as if both are just shortcuts for a temporary app that it downloads and installs but no sign of either on the TV.
Try installing Shareit

Just to confirm these are the locations on the web you mean
APKMirror - Free APK Downloads - Free and safe Android APK downloads
Free and safe Android APK downloads
www.apkmirror.com
Download APK free online downloader | APKPure.com
Download apk for Android with APKPure APK downloader. NoAds, Faster apk downloads and apk file update speed. Best of all, it's free
apkpure.com
Are both of these going to give me the current version of any app as seen on the PlayStore as a clean safe copy from Google Servers?
What do I do if I want the APK of one of my paid apps?
Just to be clear my intent here is NOT about piracy, but to keep archival copies of my legitimate apps. However, if I need to go to a pirate source to get an APK file I purchased, I would consider this a second choice if there is no want to get my hands on a clean copy of my APK file.
Also, would rooting open any additional options related to obtaining APKs of my legit paid apps?

why don't you just flash nickgapps , open gapps or mindthegapps?
In any case, exploring nickgapps, you can find the PlayStore.zip insidie, it contains "___etc___permissions" and "___priv-app___Phonesky" folders
if you have root copy the content relatively to "/system/etc/permissions" and "/system/priv-app/Phonesky" folder
otherwise you can try to.inatall the apk as a common user app (manually grant all required permissions)

you don't have to
if you change rom, and you want to re-install gapps just flash them again (if necessary)
if you want to backup locally installed apps, you can use a backup tool (but not all back-up install proprtly from local, some apps needs to be installed via playstore)
I tried to download the apk for "Text Free: Call & Texting App" on both APKPure and APKMirror and neither offer this free app. I would like to save my APK file somehow, but it seems like it is available only on Google Play. Is there some way I can capture the APKs downloaded by Google Play so that I can retain them? If I must root to accomplish this, I will root. (I currently have global stock OOS firmware.)

Installed apps are under /data partition, /apps folder
navigating to that folder with file.manager should allow you to copy them

I used Cx File Explorer to back up some apps on my One Plus 9 Pro. Then I rooted and got Root Explorer to rummage in /data/apps.
I found that when apps are download from Google Play that some apps download two or more apks. Every app downloads a "base.apk" file. Some apps download "split_config.arm64_v8a.apk" and "split_config.xxhdpi.apk". If I backup an app with Cx File Explorer, only the base apk is backed up, not the other essential apks to allow the app to work if installed from the backup. In particular, I noticed this with "Text Free" by Pinger, and several other apps.
I find it clunky to rummage in /data/apps because the folder names are gibberish and I have to hunt for an app's folder to find its pieces. Is there a better app backup utility that will get all the pieces of an app? (And since I am already rooted, I don't care if it requires root or not to work.)

I also tried ApkExtractor on Text Free and find that it also only extracts the Base Apk and not the "split_config" pieces.
Thanks
