hello,
since I've flashed the KDZ (ADEU D85510H_00) from here I often get the notification that my bluetooth has been stopped, but the funny thing is that my bluetooth is disabled.
the notification appears in any case after each boot several times or sometimes if I use any app or sometimes when I unlock the device.
is there anything I can do so that the notification disappears?
thanks in advance!
I have the same problem since day 1..but learnt to live with it

SOLUTION
Do you have Track ID app installed on your phone?
This app cause the Bluetooth issue mentioned above. Once uninstalled your phone will work fine

it´s an strange issue....
has you tried to re-flash your rom doing full wipe''?maybe seems a radical solution but if you tried to disable it and it restarts... you haven´t more ways...
Hi gian569
I am not sure about but I think there is something to do with Mock Locations. The GPS is searching where you are i guess. Did you turned that off?
Or just maybe your wife / husband has installed a root soft in order to spy you.....

Hi there,
TrueCaller doesn't activate the GPS. If you have connected TC to your Twitter account and have location and GPS on however it will use the GPS. But like I said, TC cannot initiate the GPS by itself
Thanks for using TrueCaller!
Thank you all for you replies
So let's make the point...it's not truecaller's fault....my girlfriend barely knows what is a software...xD....my parents also can't do such a thing....xD....i had this issue with AR HD 5.1.3 if i remember right, then i patched to 5.1.4 without full wipe....so i think i'll try flashing 5.1.6 and see what happens

@superstick i forgot: i don't get what you mean but i've turned off gps almost everywhere, moreover it would be strange if it turns on only with calls i think
The Mock Location is not the GPS signal. It is about capturing where you are whenever you are at different places. I guess its nothing to do with that.(I did not used that before, so cant tell. lol)
Oh yes i allow program to track my position but internet only,e not using gps so it shouldn't be that...

I got the same question after upgrading my ROM from 2.2 to 2.3. I tried several ways, and found out that GPS will not be auto launched when you turn off all data services(WIFI, WCDMA).
don't know the root cause yet.

Hello everyone,
I have an error trying to open Spotify with ICS. I have a Premuim account, but when I try to start the app it won't do it.
The error is that when you had filled in username and pasword worns you that you will need a data conexion, and that might be charged apart. when you press "OK" it continues to pop up the same window all over again, non stop.
I tried with Wiffi and also with 3G. Don't work.
I have the 4.0.1. I heard that there is a 4.1.0 OTA update, but if I try to get a newer one it says it's allready updated.
I'm not the only one:
getsatisfaction.com/spotify/topics/spotify_is_crashing_on_open_when_in_online_mode_ics
I'm from Spain, and I have Orange. But the problem I thinck is ICS.

There is no 4.1 OTA update officially released, this seems to be a development build by all information online.

The problem is likely with the Spotify app rather than ICS, and Spotify will need to update their app.
Exacty when I said the problem was ICS I meant the incompatibility betwen the S.O an the app. As you say Spotify will have to upgrade the app.
I wanted to make sure that is the problem, and no another thing.
Spotify is working fine for me.. I've been listening to stuff on it all week.
I'm running stock with the paul's kernel, and the only unusual option is force GPU rendering is on.
Okay , it was a problem of username and pasword. Then why they don't show with the exact dialog saying that.
I don't underdtad. At least it works for me now.

I had the same problem .. It turned out that it automatically became a space Eftr my text. My username stopped thus by a space, deleted it and then it went to login.
Doesn't work for me. I submitted a support request to Spotify and they said "We are sorry but we do not support Android 4.0 and we do not know when we will"
Not very helpful.
I have found the first real issue with the M8.
The GPS fails during navigation and cannot get proper lock. That meant it kept trying to recalculate routes etc...
My friends have also had same issue.
Location settings were set on the best option too. Full mobile signal and internet as well.

Hardware related or do you think it's a problem with the OS?
No problem on GPS here. I get a quick lock and it stays on.
Using Sygic.

Google navigation and TomTom both failed on different M8s.
It works for a bit, but when it goes wrong you will know about it.
I am hoping only software, but I have no idea of issues or how to fix it.
If you are rooted or unlocked, try this GPS config ... its for quick good AGPS lock before actual GPS one.

Prefer not to root as phone rocks. And rooting will void warranty of my new phone.

Using with Co-Pilot Premium and works great. Locks on quickly and stays on. No problems at all.
Can't say I've noticed the issue. I use Waze. My Note II used to constantly lose GPS fix. Was irritating! Hope it doesn't start on my M8.

I'm not adversed to anythng BUT I have just bought a £500 plus phone. I would rather not void a warranty yet.... also some of my apps won't work on a rooted device.
I have no problem on my phone. all is ok.
GPS has been the best I've ever experienced on a smartphone. Locks quickly and accurately and the only device ever to get a decent lock inside my concrete flat.
However, yesterday the GPS failed completely whilst driving with clear view of the sky. A reboot fixed it and it was then rock solid again.
That's the only time it's done it in about a week since owning it with about 20 hours driving with it.
I'm hoping that means it's a software issue somewhere.

I can confirm that my GPS nav has been broken for about a month or more, using Waze and Google Maps
The latest System update released on 6/15/2014 has resolved the issue

Yep gonna agree works perfect with copilot. Also better than sygic imo. I also wouldn't bother with Google navigation. Better to use an offline satnav app.
I have this problem too... Doesn't seem to matter which app one are using, it also happens with my golf app... And the only way to fix it, is to reboot the phone.. This is really annoying...
It seems to be related to bluetooth use... If I use BT to play music/listen to audiobook at the same time as I use the navigation app, then I have this problem.. If I turn off the BT, then the problem does not seem to appear... I am saying seem to, because it seems to be random when this occurs so not 100% sure that turning off BT fixes the problem but so far I have not had this problem when BT is off..
I also thought this was fixed in the latest update but yesterday it happend again....

I contacted samsung & was told to take it to a service centre. They had to send it back direct to samsung for repair, will take 10 working days
I love this phone,* it's the most complete package/well put together phone I have ever come across. However, I'm having a bit of trouble with Bluetooth. It keeps dropping out & I believe it's some sort of software conflict.
I've tried starting in safe mode, which does fix the problem (as far as I can tell,* coz I've no music apps in safe mode)
I have done a factory reset,* which didn't help.
I have deleted apps,* one at a time to try to find the culprit,* but can't find it...
Is anyone experiencing anything similar? And any suggestions on how to fix it...
It's dropping during phone calls,* music playback and with my re camera...* So basically all scenarios

Finally... I think I've found the culprit! My banking app... they released an update where they stated there's a bluetooth issue for some Marshmallow users, I also read the reviews and there's a few people are experiencing bluetooth dropout... Happy days if this is it!!!
I'll test it this evening when I'm leaving work.

I presume that they have a security system where they temporarily disable short range communications as you send your authentication info... But that's pure speculation

Go to play store and download an app called Bluetooth phonebook. It's a trial, but it's functional enough to determine whether your problem goes away. I need it for the headunit in my pickup, or Bluetooth drops. It solved my problem
It's all solved... Was a problem with my banking app not playing nice with marshmallow. Been making phonecalls and playing music in the car for an hour now and no problems

It's ironic that many people reporting this problem are using Android.
-- In isolated cases, iOS users are also griping.
-- Search for an older Fitbit apk preferably, one year and work your way forward in time.
