Moto360 constantly disconnects when battery below 60% - Moto 360

I just got a moto 360 and have it paired with my nexus 7. The watch stays connected fine until the battery gets to around 60% and then it will disconnect after 15 minutes. The only way I've been able to recover is to restart the watch. Android wear app shows it connected. If I try to disconnect and then reconnect through the android wear app it refuses to reconnect until I restart the watch. I tried contacting moto but the chat said they didn't have tools to support moto360 and when I called the person on the other end of the phone didn't even try to help and said comtact Google.

[Q] Moto 360 randomly waking up, destroying battery

Hey all, so I'm having a very annoying and strange issue: My Moto 360 will wake up (i.e. screen turns on) randomly and without reason, ranging from within seconds of each wake to minutes, but it absolutely kills the battery (I can't make it more than 10-12 hours with absolute minimal usage). This is with tilt to wake off, theater mode on, all possible apps except the Android Wear app uninstalled. and the watch sitting completely still on a table. It was happening with Android 5.1 and 5.1.1 on my Nexus 6, and is still happening with the recent 5.1.1 Android Wear update.
The only way to "fix" the waking up issue is if I turn on airplane mode on my phone, which obviously disconnects the watch. So clearly my Nexus 6 is waking up the watch remotely, be it through the AW app or through the connection itself somehow. One other note: when I reset the watch and pair it with my 2013 Nexus 7, the issue doesn't occur, so clearly it's not a problem with the watch's hardware or software, but with the way the Nexus 6 communicates with the watch.
Really would appreciate any insight or guidance as to what's going on - I'm truly at a loss, and the only explanation I can possibly come up with is an issue with my phone's internal hardware (maybe something bluetooth-related)? I've even reset my phone on multiple occasions and that won't fix it.
The only other reference on the internet I can find to this issue is here, where this guy seems to be having the same problem, albeit with a different Mororola-produced phone: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/android-wear/5vB-dKc5IGI.

Frequent disconnects only on home wifi

Usually I can resolve my own issues, but this time I need some help.
My 360 disconnects from my phone often (about 20 times a day). Sometimes it will reconnect immediately, sometimes I have to toggle bluetooth, sometimes I have to reboot both phone and watch.
On one occasion, my phone forgot the watch all by itself, like it wasn't even there. I had to factory reset the watch in order to reconnect.
I've tested thoroughly and can confirm this is only happening while my phone is connected to my home wifi. While on data or other wifi networks (both 2.4 and 5 ghz bands), the issue is non-existent.
My phone (Moto X 2014) is running 5.1 stock and rooted. I greenify Facebook only. I use Tasker but do not have any wifi-specific profiles set.
The watch is running 5.1.1 and I'm using the latest Android Wear. I tried rolling back a few versions but no change.
My router is running the latest firmware (Verizon router provided with Fios), and I've tried broadcasting in different channels.
Kind of at my wits end, here. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
Well, it happened again last night - out of nowhere I received a pairing request from my watch. The phone had just forgotten it, and I wasn't able to re-pair without performing a reset of the watch.
Steps taken since then:
1. Set wifi to channel 1
2. Set wifi to 802.11/n
3. Uninstalled Wear Mini Launcher (provides notification when phone and watch disconnect... I suspect it might be causing issues)
I've been at work and connected to wifi for 2 hours, no problems. At home, I'd have disconnected twice by now.
Argh!
Hi
Did you sort this issue?
I've noticed it on my Moto 360/ Moto X 2014 as well.
When I connect both wifi and bluetooth and then disable Bluetooth my phone complains that Android Wear has disconnected and to tap the alert to reconnect, which I do but I'm not sure if it does anything.
Then I've noticed my watch will drop wifi connection every now and then but after a bit of messing around in the settings I found an option under Wifi settings/ Advanced called Power Save which I've adjusted to the longest time possible (180 minutes), it was previously set to 30 minutes and I'm guessing the watch was disconnecting from my Wifi network when it hit this.
I've only just done this though so I don't know if it'll solve the frequent disconnect issues, however i'll still have to reconnect the Watch after 180 minutes.

Inaccurate display of phone battery level

I've noticed recently that my Zenwatch no longer displays the correct battery level for my phone. If I edit the watchface configuration to remove and re-add the battery level it will correct the figure, but it soon becomes out of date again (i.e. overstating the battery level).
l've tried the Explorer, Illusion and a custom watchface created using the new Zenwatch Watchface Designer app, and all have the same problem
My watch is running Build LCA43, and my phone is a Galaxy S4 running an Android 5.0.1 ROM.
Hmmm....I just upgraded my phone from a Galaxy S4 to an LG G4 and I still get the same problem - phone battery not displayed accurately on the watch. Am I the only one with this problem?

I haven't had any problem with my ZenWatch 2 reporting phone battery. The first thing that I would think is that maybe your phone to watch connection is being lost, and so the watch isn't being updated. Have you had texts or anything come through while the incorrect number is still displayed? Next time it happens open the android wear or zenwatch manager apps on your phone and verify that it reports them connected (or in the case of zen manager that it is reporting numbers matching what is displayed on your watch). If you're using a watch face other than a standard android one try with either a standard android wear one or a zenwatch manager one that way you know if its connected to the watch face (or an associated app).

The connection with the phone is fine the whole time this is happening - I continue to get email and all other notications on the watch. If I go into the watchface config on the phone (in Zenwatch Manager) and disable/re-enable the battery level display it resets to the correct value on the watch, but shortly afterwards it becomes out of date again (i.e. the battery level on the watchface stops decrementing).
I get this problem on all of the watchfaces that I've tried (5 different ones)

Smt113 doesnot charge after automatic update

Hello. I have smt113. I never rooted it because it has warranty and i was only using it for programming.
Today, months after buying, automatically updated to 4.4.4. And then when i connect to pc, it doesnot charge. It stays at %26. When i go to battery option in settings, it shows "it BUt i can see files inside tablet from pc.
I restarted but same. Then i shut down and connect and this time it shows %30. It seems charging.
And in setings, about phone section, i can see the date of March. Not today. How can i learn what update was it? Because it happened today but i cant see date of today.
Also when i connect to ac, it charges but slowly. 20 30 minutes for maybe %1 only.

Re-purposed Moto 360 into a standalone watch (not smart watch, just watch)

Towards late 2017, my Moto 360 (gen 1) became just unreliable. The battery would die in about 4 hours or so even if it was lying on the desk with screen off. I thought that the battery had come to an end of its life. Rooting was an option but I was not successful in making a root cable for this watch. I loved the watch, so even if I could use it as a regular watch it was ok for me. So I unpaired it with my regular phone. Paired it to a spare phone (had a nexus 5x which is my backup phone).
I don't carry the spare phone obviously daily with me. But I have the Moto 360 and it remains disconnected from phone. It works like a charm. I use the Moto 360 in Ambient mode (yes, ambient mode) full day. After about more than 10 hours, I still had about 15% battery left. Couldn't ask for more. Ofcourse, no sync, no notifications etc. Just shows the time and date. That was enough for me.
I figured that the problems with the battery had nothing to do with actual battery but were most likely due to the latest OS or apps.
So Huawei watch 2 sport is my smart watch for daily use and my Moto 360 is ... a smart looking watch.
-----------------------------
This is what I did:
To the spare phone (unrooted nexus 5x):
factory reset and logged into it as a new device. So no apps restored
I installed Wear OS app from the play store
paired it to Moto 360
Let the sync happen
Only the very basic apps got installed on to the device like FIT, Calendar, Alarm etc.
I even deleted the user from the phone. But the Wear app is still paired to the phone, just in case I wanted to install some custom watch faces etc later.
