I've had my 360 for a little over a week and this is a first for me. Earlier today it was down to around 25% so I figured I would top it off. It got up to 76% and stayed there. I took it off the charger and three hours later, it still shows the charging screen at 76% and I can't get it off that screen. I hoped I could reboot it, but a long press of the button does nothing. The only thing it does do is turn the screen off when it times out. Hopefully it will discharge overnight and be okay in the morning.
Has anyone else experienced this? How would you reset, reboot, or power off the watch if it's locked up?
Keep the button pressed for 25-30 seconds. It should turn off.

Thanks, I pressed it for a good 15-20 seconds with nothing happening, so maybe I didn't hold it long enough. I'll remember that if/when it ever happens again. It did die overnight and is charging now. :fingers-crossed:
Same here
I also was stuck on charge. I thought I held the button down for a really long time.. But seeing the 25 sec suggestions I tried for an insanely long hold and that worked.
Thanks
Also just had this problem. Holding down for 30s worked.
moto360 in charging limbo
Originally bought my watch in September or so, pre-release. Had a few bad pixels, returned for an exchange.
Had this exchanged watch for past 9 months or so, all of sudden it start lagging and discharging and lots of other goodies.
Latest, NOW it is stuck on the charging screen, on or off the dock. Drained the battery a few times only to return to the same screen.
On the dock, sometimes it displays time, sometimes its dark. Off the dock its off, then with tap it will show the charging screen once every 5 taps.

So I came home from work today only to discover that my new Nexus 7 will no longer turn on. It's not out of battery since it's been sitting on the charger all day and nothing I have done will make the device turn on. Oddly the device will get warm when I plug it into the charger. Has this happened to anyone else?
With my N4 I found that if he device would not turn o plugging it into a computer USB port for 5 minutes or so would resolve the problen
Not sure if that would work since the charging logo doesn't even show up. Anyways, I'm just returning it to Amazon. Unbelievable that a tablet would just die like this in 4 days.

Sometimes folks have found an offending app like netflix can lock up the CPU so it is no longer responsive to the power button. For this situations press and hold the power button for 30 seconds an the unit should reboot.
There is a separate problem where if the tablet is drained of battery completely, sometimes it will not turn on until it gets some trickle charge. Leaving it attached to the power adapter a couple of hours usually resolves it, but sometimes it will only accept lower amp charge so try the USB port on a computer too.
Had the exact same problem this morning on my N7. Holding down the power button long enough solves it as described above.
Already tried holding the power button down as well as power+volume down. I had it charging all day and it was at ~90% before I put it on the charger before leaving.. So there's no way it could have ran out of battery.
Regardless, I'm sending it back for a new one. Having these issues within 4 days doesn't give me hope that it'll last a long time free of issues even if I did get it working again. Hopefully the second one will be free of issues.

Flashed Lifeless last night. Everything was working fine, left the phone charging at 10% then today I wake up to a dead phone. Wont charge, wont boot. Only sign of life is holding the power button down for like 20 sec and the battery LED will turn on for like 20 sec but only if its plugged in. What gives? Anyone have any idea what might be going on?
Plug into a 2 amp charger or do a battery pull.

Same thing has happened to me! I have done a battery pull as well with no avail. I am using a 1.2 A charger, the one that came with my phone and still nothing. I can get the red light as well but nothing else. I have pronounced the Phone as DEAD and have already bought a new phone(funds are tight so it was a was crappy situation). If ANYONE has a real working solution to this PLEASE tell us!(I'd greatly appreciate it)

You held the power button for 10 seconds? Try going to recovery or bootloader or download mode

Similar situation
I'm on stock but had the same problem. Phone totally discharged, plugged it into my car charger, phone got hot by camera but did not charge. Got home plugged it into stock charger, same thing. Battery charging on screen, phone hot, then dim light on screen. tried for a day or so, no luck.
Tried holding power button for 20-30 seconds, nothing, Vol up and down + power, nothing. By accident held power and vol up and charging light came on, held it for a minute, and it stayed on, let go, out it went. As a last resort, put two rubber bands around the phone to hold in power and Vol up and bingo! Charging light stayed on! left it overnight and found the phone completely charged in the AM, green light flashing. Been working fine for days, Willnot let it get too low of a charge in the future.
So I had my tablet laying around for a few days and it was on so I go to use it today and I hit power button and expected the lock screen, nope. Held button in to turn it on and nothing happened except the notification light blinked 5 times exactly and then nothing happened. I figured it was dead so let it charge for 10 mins and tried to turn on and the light blinked 5 times. Now it does nothing no light and won't turn on or boot into recovery or do anything. Never had any problems with it in past.

The battery is completely drained, the nexus only has enough power to blink 5 times. I guess to show you that's its not broken. You will need to charge it for at least 30 mins, but I would recommend a dew hours before trying again. If you get nothing after a few solid hours on charge then there is a problem with the battery, but hopefully it won't come to that.
I got my watch today and went to charge it for the first time and it'll get to 10% and then it starts to discharge pretty rapidly. Anyone else have this issue or will it correct itself over night or something?
Another thing I've noticed is the moto360 gets a little hot when it starts discharging, maybe that's why?

Charge up first and THEN update to new OTA. Then your battery will improve a little each day.

I've already done the OTA. It started the download as soon as I turned it on basically.

What's your build number right now?
The latest should be 4.4W.1.
What you can try is to reset the watch, maybe that helps. That shouldn't cause that much damage as you probably don't have any data on the watch itself anyway.
Hard to reset it when you can't get it to turn on. It doesn't even show the charge indicator now. Just the backlight turning off and going dim
That doesn't sound right at all. Try a different charge cord with your dock. Mine started the update download as soon as it linked to my phone, after that it HAD to be charged to at least 80% before starting the actual update. After that it will charge from 10% to 60% in about 25mins or less.

It's been sitting on the charger now for ~4-5 hours since I started this thread. I took it off about 5mins ago to test it, it powers on and nothing. It acts like it wants to come on, but nothing happens. Just the backlight, then it dims and soon goes off. The charging white light has been lit while it was on the charger the whole time. And it won't even display the blue circle with the time while on the charger.
When I took it out of the box earlier this afternoon it came on, paired it and started downloading the update then shut off saying to charge it. I placed it on the charger and the blue circle ring appeared. It hit 10% and started draining 2% a second and shut off. It hasn't shown the charging screen again after that. Just lights up the black screen and goes off, that's it.
So one thing I noticed, I power the watch completely off. No backlight on at all and place it on the charger. After a few seconds it turns on, black screen just backlight turns on, and vibrates really quick. Then after a couple seconds it vibrates again, but longer than it does when just powering the unit on and then the screen dims.
Hey guys
Seems to be having and issue and I cannot figure it out.
I'll pull the watch off the charger and about 39 mins later my battery will have drained 13 %
The most concerning thing is about 7 hours into my day my battery will be at 50-45% and then my device will just shut off. No response from it at all. The button does nothing. Touching the screen nothing. It takes me for me to put it back on a charge for it to power back on. And when it does it shoes it's at 45%.
So why the hell is it powering down when it has so much battery power left.
I have done a factory reset on it and had not helped at all. Still the same issues. I have cleared cache etc on android wear app and still the same.
Any thoughts on this?

I've had something like this happen a great times as well. My watch will go dark and when I try to turn it back on it won't. I can hold the button and it will turn on as if it's been shut off, but once it gets "on" and the screen goes dark again i have to turn it back on like a full reboot. Only after putting it on the charger will it be fine, and when I do and it's done booting it shows the battery is 49+ or more percent. Weird. Only started a few weeks ago.

Ya same. This started a couple weeks ago as well. I wonder if the latest version they have on the watch is borked
