There are so many to choose from. I want something that covers all the edges of the glass, not just the sides. It shouldn't add too much bulk and look and feel decent.

spigen slim armor
I got myself spigen neo hybrid. But later on ordered slim armor because it is slimmer, and fits better in my hand. I use it with tempered glass screen protector. After couple falls on concrete not a single mark.
In my opinion neo hybrid adds huge bulk. If you want some protection with less bulk, you should try cruzerlite or diztronic tpu cases. Those are cheap and covers all edges without adding too much bulk. I personally used diztronic matte black with cheap tempered glass a few months but now I'm using LG hardshell cuz I wanted ultra thin case.
I use the spigen tempered glass screen protector with their ultra hybrid case. it fell countless times and not a sinlge mark . i dont like bulk too, and i can tell you that its less bulky than expected. keep this in mind: less bulk = less protection. (from my experience)
I'm a big fan of the slim armor case. I've tried the neo hybrid, the tech21, the sip case superlegerra, and the trident case and the slim armor is my favorite of all. It looks great and stays looking great, no wear after months of use. A little bit of bulk but you stop noticing it after a few minutes.
I use the Spigen Slim Armor. I've dropped my phone at least 5 times onto hard surfaces or concrete and no broken screen yet. My phone was in the car door sill when my wife tried to close it repeatedly and although the case shell has small marks on the edges, the screen is in tact with no damage. For me it's as good as the Otterbox Commuter I had on my previous phones but slimmer.

Spigen Neo Hybrid :good:
I really like my Diiztronic TPU case. Nice and slim, though because it is not clear I have been using a Luvvit Clear Hybrid. the Luvvit is slimmer than the other hybrids and fits more like a pure TPU.

i'll give a +1 to the Diztronic TPU case. very simple and doesnt add any bulk. not going to protect from a hard fall but will keep off the grease and scuffs from everyday use.

Google Bumper case for nexus 5 is very nice.
First time when I got a nice usable original case.
Spigen slim armour..not too bulky and protects well...think it was $15 on amazon.

is there any good slim cases and not slippery back for galaxy note ?
dont want bulky but still want some protection ..
I have the elago G4 Slim Fit Case on my note atm, and I'm liking it so far. Not much in the way of protection, but it isn't slippery and the note + case still fits in my pockets.
One thing I would say though...it's a pain in the ^$#%#$% to get off once you get it on.

I use this very slim case that ONLY offers scratch protection. Very good to hold and has a matte finish so no finger prints.
Have a look at my review thread,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1504446
Slim, form fitting "case".
I like both the Incipio Feather UltraLight Hard Case (although it might snap/break as some have mentioned) and the Diztronic High Gloss Translucent Grey.
The Diztronic High Gloss is great, because it slides out of where ever you have it, mine is usually in my pocket and it doesn't pick up link. It's rather sticky and grippy, in a good way, doesn't feel like it will slip out of you hands or lose grip of the phone. It's very slim, so the phones slender sexy lines are kept and it shows through the semi see through material.
Both are very minimalist, the TPU protects slightly more, since it's a tad thicker, bouncy and raises above the screen face some.
That's IHMO, YMMV.

+1 for elago slim... I had a 4ft drop the other day with it on, and my note came out scratch free because it landed right on the corner of the case (whew).... using the elag + sgp protector and liking the setup so far.

I just ordered this one:
https://www.speckproducts.com/smartphone-cases/samsung/fitted-for-samsung-galaxy-note.html
I will let you know how I like it when I get it next week. The Speck Fitted cases my wife has used on her iPhone 4 and 4s have been very durable and given great protection.
I finally want to settle down to a grippy yet very slim case. I was eyeng the quicksand cases but I think they're slippery. I've had the Spigen Neo-Hybrid and Diztronic Matte but they're slippery. I'm now stuck on the capdase xpose black. It's slim but also slippery.
Suggestions? Thanks.

Best case I've ever had. Slim and grippy.
You can get those quicksand cases for .99 cents on eBay ....

Quicksand case has the best grip for a slim case. The bearmotion is the same as the non-branded eBay version.

I don't think you'll find any slim cases that have more grip than the Quicksand cases. If you're speaking of strictly slim hardcases, they're basically the best there is for grip. The texture and material make for a case that isn't slippery.
The only other option would be to move to something more tacky/sticky. That would be more like a shiny TPU case, or something rubberish. But then it is no longer very slim.
I think you should give a Quicksand case a shot. I linked to a review thread I did, and there is a lot of pictures/discussion there.

This is spot on. I liked the grip, but with no protection for the top/bottom edges, you can crack your screen on a drop with the quicksand. I also wanted slim+grip and eventually wound up happiest with an old school silicone rubber case from ebay. Go figure, smh.

Been there, done that
I would recommend the Nillkin Frosted. There's a small lip to protect screen, it's thin, color choices, looks better than the sand cases and it's grippy.

My vote goes to the Ringke Fusion Crystal View case. It's fairly slim, clear, and the sides are a soft TPU type material. No problems with grip. http://www.amazon.com/PROTECTION-FU...sr=8-1&keywords=ringke+fusion+crystal+nexus+5
at now I have TPU regular case for my device.
I want good grip, slim case and good protection...
how is the Nillkin nature case?
all TPU cases change the color to yellow after some months? even Spigen Ultra hubrid?
Hi, I think Spigen Rugged Armor is one of the best covers for this smartphone. It's really well-built and minimal, if you search on the Internet you may find it at a lower price than the official site.
What is the difference about Neo hybrid and rugged armor?
I think I prefer the nillkin becuase dust protect for charging port.
UP
Spigen neo hybrid was big case?
I recommend rhinoshield impact protection bumper case. for something minimalist with drop protection.
Spigen Rugged Armor is decent.
Slim profile, buttons feel good and the cut outs are near perfect.
Gets a bit slippery though, also protection against drops may not be as good as something like Spigen Neo Hybrid or otterbox cases.
( 1st post as a 3T owner  )
Neo hybrid is more beautiful than rugged armor..
Rugged armor is slim case?
what about Ultra hybrid?

Rugged Armor is a TPU case. Slim, yes. Although to prevent damage for corner drops, they have some air cushioning there.
+1 for me for the Spigen Rugged Armor. Just got mine and looks great.
Why rugged and dont neo hybrid?
and rugged looks slippery.
For my previous smartphones I've been using socks but I thought I try a case this time.
Quite like the look of the spigen rugged armour and otterbox and then I came across this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Revolution...Protection-Protector/dp/B01HAPB0N8?th=1&psc=1 has anyone had any experience of this brand? Quite like the idea of the screen protector.
I ordered the neo hybrid.
Hi im looking to decide between the Spigen Neo Hybrid and Spigen rugged armor. I have read many reviews but none of them seems legit, so any user who have any of these cases please confirm this for me:
SPIGEN NEO HYBRID:
1. Does the sides of the plastic bumper tuns yellow after a while of use like a month or two? and if it does looses its color can i buy the bumper separately?
2. Does it provide better protection on drops as compared to the rugged armor?
SPIGEN RUGGED ARMOR:
1. Is the case too slippery?
2. How is the drop protection on this case?
I'm looking for protection over looks so please help me make a valid choice, and if you think that both the cases sucks feel free to suggest me the one you prefer.
Thanks in advance.
Hi, I have the Spigen Rugged Armor, this case is good looking if you don't mind that the OnePlus logo is hidden with this case. This case also have a good grip and good drop protection.
I once dropped my 3T while using this case with the screen facing down the concrete. Fortunately, this case protected my screen from shatter. I recommended you get this case if you spend majority of your work outside office. Better safe than sorry.
I bought the Rugged Armor and I have to say I'm really impressed. It's thin, feels great and definitely isn't too slippery. The carbon fiber looks good too. The only issue is I'm not sure how much drop protection it would provide because like I say it is very thin. There's a lip over the screen but I can imagine the phone becoming disfigured underneath if it was dropped from an appreciable height. I'm usually quite careful though so I'm trying not to worry about that
Thanks for the reply guys I was slightly inclined towards the rugged armor my self, it looks frekin awesome. I'll go for it then.
Currently using the Spigen rugged armour as I was afraid of finger prints with the clear variant. Not as slippery as I expected and gives all the protection you need, saved my phone from a couple of drops and it is scratch free
I'm actually using both. I initially only had the rugged armor and then bought the Neo hybrid. I found with a glass screen protector the Rugged armor doesn't play well with it. With just a plastic screen protector the Neo hybrid looks really nice. I love em both though
I have one and it's not really a good "feel" for me. It's a great case, just not to my liking. I am rocking this one now: OnePlus 3T Case, OnePlus 3 Case, Nillkin Synthetic Fiber Premium Bumper Case Cover [Compatible with Magnetic Car Holder] for OnePlus 3T / 3 - Black. It's a lot like the OEM and fits great. With that and the LiquidSkin protector, I really like the slimness and the feel.
Been using the rugged armor for about a month.
- Not slippery
- Good protection
- Not too thick
- I think the CF is stupid. I want it plain.
9/10 would buy again.

Have had the OP3T with that case for 2 months now
1. No they don't. I just have one little scratch on the corner revealing a small white line (barely visible)
2. No idea since I haven't dropped the phone a single time. I can just say that the bumper makes the case kind of more slippery actually. Previously I rocked Spigen Ultra Hybrid on Nexus 5/Nexus6/Galaxy S6 and it was much more grippy. I felt much safer while for example on a bus, now I aim to hold it with two hands since I don't feel the grip this well. The Neo's advantage over Ultra Hybrid though, is the fact that the whole product is relatively soft and flexible so that it doesn't damage the device at all as UH used to with its back made of hard solid plastic.
9/10 very decent, non-bull**** and SOLID case anyway. Totally recommend it, the notices above are just the matter of my fussiness
I always rock an Otterbox Commuter case on my phones mainly for work conditions can get rough at times. From what I've seen, Otterbox is only offering their Defender series (too big and bulky) and their Symmetry series (thinner, one piece case). I've decided to go with the Symmetry series and I'm pleasantly surprised. It definitely adds a little bit of bulk, but not as much as the Commuter, while offering great all-around protection. The one piece design is easy to put on and remove (unlike previous Symmetry cases I've tried on other phones). I do wish that there was a bit of grip on the sides like the Speck Presidio series cases, but I like the design. Unfortunately the only options were clear, pink, or black.... so I went with black.
So what's your choice for a protective case? Share pics and comments.
I too normally use the Otterbox defender for my phones but I wanted to try something new. I bought a poetic revolution for myself and a supcase unicorn beetle pro for my wife. They appeared a little slimmer and had port covers which I wanted. Amazon says they will arrive tomorrow so I shall see.

I had the unicorn beetle pro for my Nexus 6 and it's a nice cheaper alternative to the defender, but it still adds more bulk than the commuter case. I may look into the poetic case though. Let me know how they work out for you. ?
I went to Best Buy and tried out the Defender case. Definitely too bulky and I hate the built in screen protector (and it doesn't sit well over a glass screen protector, even if you take out the built in one).
You may not like the poetic as it has the built in screen protector. I'm used to the bulk of the defender so I'm not a great judge of the size. I will tell you the poetic is smaller then the supcase unicorn beetle. Built in port covers are nice too, overall it is a smaller rugged case you can say.
just received the Poetic Karbon Shield Slim Fit Case With Anti-Slip Side Grip and Carbon Fiber Texture. it's a slimmer-fit case that offers (what i believe is) more protection than a thin TPU case. sharing pictures for those interested to know how it fits the G6. i also have tempered glass screen protector on the phone as well. you'll also notice in the first pic that wireless charing works with the case on the phone. i usually go with a much thinner case but i really like the look and feel of this one. will give it a week or so before i decide if it's a keeper. (please excuse the dust in the pictures - our HVAC ducts were being cleaned when i took these pictures).
Went from a Note 3 with Otterbox Commuter to a G6 with Spigen "Tough Armor" case, and am satisfied with it. Feels like it provides just as much protection as the Otterbox Commuter, yet not adding quite as much bulk. I'm kinda rough with my phones sometimes, and I'd have peace of mind if I were to accidentally drop my G6 from waist-height or so.
If you choose to go with Spigen, definitely buy it off Amazon, rather than directly from Spigen's website; it's cheaper off Amazon.

I just ordered this one on Amazon. Saw the office and couldn't pass it up. Glad to see it looks good, and works well with a glass protector. I got the Spigen glass 2 pack as I've always liked everything Spigen makes.
Was gonna get the unicorn beetle that I had for my s7e, but don't think I need that much protection on this one, plus no edge screens that I need to prevent my palm from hitting lol.
Update: I hate the Karbon case. Doesn't fit tightly and leaves gaps at the edges on the front. I guess for $8 it'll hold me over until I get a good case, but this one is not staying pass this weekend.

So guys I'm searching for a good protective case that doesn't add too much bulk. I'm torn between the Poetic Revolution and the Supcase Unicorn Beetle. I like the way the Poetic looks except for the cutout on back, I prefer the Unicorns Cutouts. If anyone here has any pics to share, that be awesome. Or unless someone has another case to throw in the mix. THanks
