Hi
I think the easiest way is with Stumproot 1.2.
no need for pc, just install the apk file and root.
search for it for more instructions.

Does your oneclick allow this or is it "ROOT, Unlock Bootloader, Install Custom Recovery" in one shot?

Sorry... just saw the main post and could see there are root options (#4) so assuming yes... but it still says:
"Root Stock Jelly Bean builds (upto 4.2.0 JOP40C)" - Is this still true or will it do 4.2.1 ?
---------- Post added at 10:51 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:43 AM ----------
nm.... a little reading goes a long way.....
"just got my Nexus 10 today and I upgraded to 4.2.1 without looking at this thread first. I was able to successfully follow the 1-click options to fully root my device and put TWRP on it. Everything is working great and I'm rooted and unlocked."
Will have coffee before posting any more this morning...
is it exist any superOneClick script to root Nexus10?
Thanks for the video! I've been using droidmodderx tips and instructions forever, with it bookmarked on the laptop. Yesterday the N10 arrived. Today it's unlocked/rooted in maybe 5 minutes. The visuals are great letting you know what to expect. (I would never thought that button was the volume-up!) Thanks man!

Hey guys its been a long while since i posted ive been doing pretty good on my own, until today.
I need so help on a SHG-M919
tried rooting it and had problems with samsung KNOX blocking su so i wasnt fully rooted, i tried a couple other things like kingo app and motochopper still a no go.
I think my problem started when i did the update to 4.3 b4 i rooted it, i figured ill just flash it back to 4.2 and i would be good. WRONG
Now im softed bricked, i cant get in to recovery mode only download mode (odin mode). When i use odin the flash fails every time. so now i look at the phone while in odin mode i see that write protection is enabled. what do i do so i can write or flash to the system files. The galaxy s3 wasn't even this difficult.
Once you are on 4.3 KNOX, you can not downgrade to earlier bootloaders like 4.2. Go into download mode, odin flash a stock 4.3 recovery, and you will no longer be bricked. Then flash CF Auto Root (look for the threads in xda, lots of links). You will be in 4.3 with root. Hope that helps.

The stock 4.3 ROM can be obtained at:
http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SGH-M919&details=Galaxy_S_4_T-MOBILE
Not much you can do about how long it takes. It takes what it takes and sometimes requires multiple attempts to get a successful download.

I used the latest CF Auto Root to re-root it, then installed the TWRP app from the Play Store, then was able to successfully reinstall TWRP. Now I'm booting to an AOSP ROM.
New OTA incoming....
About 190mb or so...
Wifi Stability and May Security patches...

I installed the OTA update and then Odin TWRP and then flashed super SU. Root is working just fine for me and still sticking after reboots.
You installed the latest security update OTA (190mb) and then Odin TWRP? It didn't seem to affect my installation of TWRP or at least I was able to get into recovery as before. Install SuperSU as before with no errors. Reboot and no root or SuperSU. May have to do a complete reinstall tonight. Glad to know root can still work after this little update.
Solved: installing the latest SuperSU 2.71 worked without a hitch, root restored

Hey, this is the forum is all about.
I did want to ask only in koops thread, but well, not much answer there. So i ask only once again here, definitely not every thread available.
Moreover, everyone's phone could have its own issues, which need troubleshoots. Not all are the same.
I have installed twrp so many times for so many phones, so that i know that might be something else.
Im using twrp 3.0.2-0 in koops thread on pd2 well, but it didnt work on pd3. So what might be wrong here?

I've had this issue everywhere tho. It does seem to be related to switching from 3G to LTE. But I can't say for certain that each and every time it dropped, that when it came back it was a different service.
