and here I marked the "border" between the "two tone" screen
i wonder if anyone here having the same problem. my Z1c is 6 months++ old
i starting to dissapointed because i just decided not to go to Z3c and keeping my Z1c for another year.

Don't have this on my Z1c at least... But it's not 6 months old yet.
Did you notice this recently? Could it be that this was the case since you bought it, but you never noticed?
And is this problem only visible on white screen or in all situations?
Since this is clearly no software issue I think you have to live with it... Or send it in for repair obviously.
Hope this is no general issue for Z1c displays.

[Q] Part of the screen can't be touched. Solutions?

So here's the deal.
One day, I dropped my defy "accidentally" inside a water closet. I put it up high in the shelves and suddenly it drops down to the closet.
now the left part of the screen is unable to be touched anymore. as could be seen in the screenshot below. the green areas are the ones that are broken

as this is a surely hardware problem, are there any other solutions than:
a. buy a new LCD screen (hard to find)
b. buy a new phone
thanks for the help guys
bump..........
Sorry
Since it is a hardware problem, I can't think of any other solution besides purchasing another LCD/phone. I'm sorry.
That said, I have put my defy underwater many times. The touch screen stop working when wet, but I had no issues with it once it dried. Maybe the problem was from the impact?

[Q] Pink Spot on Camara, Anyone else. Did Imiss something

i took a lot of pictures already with my phone, no problem
there's a sticky in the Apps section of the forum, with a lot of pictures people have taken with our T989
i didn't see anything wrong on their phones
Yeah, I picked up this phone yesterday and also noticed a pink spot in the center of the camera. Mine isn't as bad as yours. It's more a pink hue that I have. It depends on the lighting though. When I'm in my room and the sun is shinning through I can see the pink spot on white backgrounds. Should I exchange the phone? Is there a software fix for this or is it purely hardware?

[Q] butterfly like patch on my DHD camera

Hi there,
I rooted my DHD a few days ago, flashed codefirex... everything went flawlessly as far as I could tell.
came across a few issues, had to reflash new updates...etc. the camera worked fine though.
clumsy me dropped the phone last night but didn't find any scratches or anything on the lenses or elsewhere,
anyway, after few wipes and reflashing ROM, I launched the camera app and found this butterfly shaped patch
any idea what could've caused this? noob me got no clue honestly and since I noticed it after some messing around, I gotta ask if it could be software related (sounds stupid even as I type it)

}
any input is appreciated.
P.S: I did a lot of searching and could not find any topics, maybe I did not know what to look for since English is not my first language. (more like a 10th).
Oh and this "patch" dissolves when facing a bright light, and it disappears outwards when I zoom in.

[Q] Heavily decreased LED-light.

Hello guys. Here I will post a semi-blurry picture of my HOX, (the black), and my girlfriends HOX, (the white).
As you maybe can see, my led light is very heavily decreased, and I don't know why.
PS: Mine is rooted, my gf's is not.
And it's not because of one single rom, because of all that I've tried, (plenty), none of them have increased my led light.
It might not be important, but it really bugs me that I can't see when I get a new text message, etc.

Same problem for me after updating to JB
Are you sure it didn't get dirty in your pocket around the same time you updated? Just in case get a can of air-duster and give the front grill a good clean, it may save you the trouble of flashing roms and fiddling around. Mine gets dusty and dim all the time.

Screen issue????

Hi, my gpad is arrived today i notice this "problem":

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Is a real problem or can i stay with it? I am worried about finding worse problems with other gpad (eventually replaced by amazon italia)...what should you do in my place? it's a more brilliant point, but i hate it :/
Good question. I would probably be tempted to get it replaced, though. Nothing like getting something new with something wrong with it. Good luck with whatever you decide!
I would habe it replaced. Looks like a faulty display. So this can get worse.
They are sent me a new one thank you
Glad u resolved with a replacement! Cool
No no i have only accepted their advices, the new tablet isn't arrived yet (sorry for my english and the misunderstanding)
One of my Gpad's has developed a spot just like this in almost the same spot. Was not there till about a month ago. Wonder know if my other Gpad will do the same.
