I've been rooted since 2.2. I can DL the OTA update but when I try to install, it starts but then i'm stuck on the yellow ! screen. I've tried to update via the de-ox file here without wiping and get a boot loop. I tried a fresh install of the ox version and whenever I try to install anything (market or sprint updates) my phone automatically reboots. I did a fresh install of the de-ox and when I restore my apps, I run out of space. So is the update glitched or borked for some phones? I've gone back to my backup I made before the update and everything is fine.
I recently tried out CM 7.1 and to my surprise the "Gallery 3D by Rayman50" force installed itself after i launched the market, now i cant remove it anymore. I went back to my previous rom (2.3.4 stock tmobile rooted) I did a fresh install ,wiped all system data, cache,etc... and as soon as i sign into market on the stock 2.3.4 rooted rom, the app is back on and installed. I even disabled auto synch and auto back up to prevent the install but it hasn't helped. I had the stock 2.3.4 rooted rom before and didnt have the issue, it started all after installing CM 7.1 a few days ago. Anyone else having this problem?
thanks
Not per se, but I'd guess that this is somehow connected to backing up your settings to your google account. So it's probably still set for automatic download (had this with different apps before).
I'd just let all apps install automatically via the android market and then uninstall it with titanium backup. When your device next syncs with your google account, it should remove the 3d gallery so this won't happen again. (You'd obviously have to activate auto-backup again for this to work)

The OP said nothing about jellybean, and from your other posts seems you're post-padding.
The first time I rooted and unlocked my bootloader, then flashing AOKP 4.0.3, all my apps started to be downloaded automatically and installed after signing in to my google account. I've just flashed AOKP 4.0.4 (after wiping data) this time, but my apps did not install automatically. In the Play Store app, all my previous apps did show up in the "My Apps">"All" tab, but I now have to go and install each and everyone manually. Any ideas?
Broken signature on Google backup transport.
How do you fix that? Ive had this problem in the past as well.
I'd also like to know how to repair this.
Hello everyone,
So I installed CM13 as an update from 12.1 but it was stuck on the boot logo, then it counts up the updates, then does the same thing again in an endless loop.
I decided to do a clean install, so I wiped cache, system and data and installed CM13, then I installed Gapps6 stock with the exclusion of some general apps I can get from Play store, since installing stock without excludes renders error 70
Anyway, everything went well, but on the wizard setup I was expecting to see Google ask me to import apps from specific devices that was used on specific dates. But all I got was the NFC restore method.
What did I miss here? and what can I do to get to restore all my setting from before I updated the phone?
I know that option existed in Lollipop, as I have used the option when I clean installed CM12.1 many times.
Thanks all
I have heard, but have not yet tested, that you need to delete the cmsetupidwizard (or whatever it's named) before the initial boot.
Hi,
I've a Fire TV Stick Tank (old I know) with OS 5.2.7.6 (but I know there is a 5.2.8.0 update with new UI)
Update check says that there is a new update but, if I try to install it, it just "fake install", I have a screen with "almost installed update" and nothing happend, it stays on the same firmware.
Now many month ago I use some adb command, or apk to block ota (I don't remember), but I thought that with a factory reset, everything will reset. But it seems that the ota are not restored.
How can I restore ota update?
