[Q] Note 3 stability on CM 11 (Both Snapshot and Nightly) - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

So right now I'm running on the stock ROM for my galaxy note 3. Earlier this week I had a chance to try the CM 11 snapshot, and last week the CM 11 nightly. I'm impressed with the speed, but here is the problem. The phone would run flawlessly for a day or two, and then something happened. So at first the phone started with these briefly freezes, and then come all the apps, not just the GAPPS, would crash out immediately after launching. The only way for me to fix it is to reboot the phone, which is extremely weird because that doesn't happen to the Samsung stock ROM frequently.
So my question is that did I do something wrong while installing the CM 11? Or it's the nature of the CM 11? If so, please enlighten me with some techniques because I really like the CM 11 on my note 3.
P/s: Sorry about the bad English. I'm not a native speaker.
Thank you!!!!

Anyone?

[Q] ROM for best stability?

Hi guys, can you recommend me the most stable ROM for XS ?
I used FXP CM10 for nearly 2 years, it was very good, but old.
CM 10.1 UNOFFICIAL - ok, but reboots sometimes
Carbon ROM - not ok at all
CM 11 Xperia Overlay - not stable, reboots at least once a day.
Point is, I cannot afford to miss a call or reboot randomly.
Thanks!

Samsung Galaxy Note II in 2015/2016

Hello Note II owners,
I'm starting this thread about our beloved phone just to see what you people like to use most: what ROMs you think are the best and why, what Android version suits Note II the best, etc.
So please answer the following questions in their order:
1. What Android version works better?
2. What ROM do you like the most?
3. Do you think the developers of our phone are doing a good job?
4. Do you think Android 6.0 will work well on this phone?
5. Will Note II be still a good device for daily use in 2016 and after?
6. Do you miss S Pen special functions in custom ROMs?
Thanks for answering!
I really wanna know what it's best for this phone
1. 5.1.1 for me.
2. I like CM the most. Theme engine, lollipop, etc did it for me. I love lollipop and would never want to go back.
3. Developers have done a great job helping us out with our old devices including the Note 2.
4. It's questionable whether they'll support giving us 6.0 support, and/or if it will be stable.
5. For now, yes. Later, maybe not. I think an upgrade is long overdue if you still have a Note 2.
6. I have SPen features with SPenCommand. It's awesome.

CM11 nightly (official) works the best. More stable than stock 4.4.2
4
We will get the unofficial CM13 (Android 6.0)... And it will be working like most custom roms on xda (bugs bugs bugs)
5
If the official CM11 will get the latest security patches, then yes, it its very good device for daily use.
6
No at all.

That's weird. Before I upgraded to my experimental CM12.1 port, CM11 crashed all the time. Now, I've probably only crashed once in my time of using 12. There are app bugs but I don't think that has to do with CM. Only problem is the "can't connect to camera" issue which is a common problem anyway with CM12 and 11 alike.

Using the cm-11-20150813-NIGHTLY and beside one freeze of the camera app, everything is totally fine.
Not even one "crash" or reboot.
But if the latest stagefright patches will be not merged into CM11 i will look for a unofficial CM 12.1 port for the n7100 - for me, security matters.

Alarmingly horrible, to be honest. I'm going to get a ZeroLemon soon enough.
edit: not just lollipop from what I can remember, it's been pretty bad lately in general
I couldn't find any CM based ROM with Android 5.0+ which didn't give me any random reboots. The problem is the CM Kernel that makes some chip to fail and forces the phone to reboot. First I thought it was my insanse chip but someone with a sane one confirmed the problem too.
So, to solve the random reboots we are forced at this moment to flash Agni and I believe that makes the phone a little bit laggy after a while.
CM11 is the most stable now but has Video Tearing and that bugs me a lot. I used the latest nightly build from the official CyanogenMod site.
My Note 5 just arrived today and I think I liked my Note II more back in 2013, lol. But it's faster than my father's S6.
Maybe an AOSP by team Haxynox

Most Stable ROM for This Phone

I've flashed at least 7 ROMs at this point, and I have experienced nothing but boot-loops, crashes, camera issues, and random reboots. Each time that I have tried a ROM, I would have to eventually switch back to stock ROM because of the bugs. So my question to you all is, is there ANY ROM out there that has no common bugs like wifi connectivity issues, gps issues, boot loops, camera issues, etc.? I really want to find a stable rom for this phone because the stock rom is unbearably laggy and I know that this phone can be a lot faster than it is acting.
Thank you so much for at least reading this, and if you can give me an extremely stable rom, then I would be very grateful
Using cm12.1 March nightly
Hello, I have recently got this phone and mine is a d2tmo, so I searched many roms and checked out their comments section, but couldn't find any official cm12.1 topics. But did find CM12.1 Rom in the official website.
download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=d2tmo&type=nightly
have been running this rom from past 1 week, I think the battery is not good enough, but overall other issues dont seem to be popping around so freuently. Yes, I recommend it as a daily driver.
P.S: just today, CM13 Nightly has been uploaded, might not be the daily driver, but happy that there's Marshmallow for this 4 year old phone.
I've been using Slimkat 9.0 (KitKat 4.4.4) for over a year now. Fast, stable, bugsfree, minimalistic, easy on battery (24hr+ on 4yr old battery!) & efficient. http://slimroms.net/index.php/downloads/dlsearch/viewcategory/1183-d2lte -- try it u will love it

I had been dirty flashing (without really knowing what that is) the first android 6.0 rom for the S3 and it was going swell til they switched to the cyanogen nightly and everything broke on me, random restarts, Snapchat front camera never worked. But thank you for the recommendation, I flashed it (clean flash this time) and everything works and it's my daily driver now

CM 13.1 for D852

Greetings folks, just registered to ask you this since I'm desperate. I can't find the LG g3 d852 CM 13.1 rom anywhere. On their website, it has the last release which is 12.1 and the latest nightly build is 14.1.
Last week I was running on CM 13.1 for the last year or so and everything was great, the phone was speedy, no crashes, was pretty happy with my phone but then I made a mistake and did a system upgrade which took me to 14.1 and since then it's just horrible. The phone is not as speedy as before and I tried doing a phone reset, new install etc.. but nothing is quite like it used to be.
So here I am, desperate to return to CM 13.1. Anyone has the rom or can point me to it? Thank you very much!
Ive just replaced my battery and will try again cm 14.1.
Do you guys think apps closing, especially games, can be due to battery issues?

Request for newest/best android rom. Custom or Stock For Samsung Captivate Glide i927

I just got an old Samsung captivate glide and was trying to modernize it a little bit. I think the best working android rom is the "cyanogenmod 11 kitkat4.4.4" that I found on a xda Forum thread. It's nice, but I was just wondering if there was anything else more recent? All the threads went dead around 2014. I know its an unusual request, but I'm just checking all the bases to see is there is anything else more updated for this phone model. Any help would be very appreciated.
I too am using the CM 11 KitKat ROM. It does seem to be the best choice for this old phone. There is a Lineage 11 build but it doesn't work with Xposed (causes boot loop) so I went back to the last CM 11 build dated 2016/11/02.
There is a CM 12 (Android 5.0/Lollipop) ROM, but it's from 2015/03/01 - older than the KitKat ROM. Big problem is, the Glide's camera won't work with it, so it looks like the developers just gave up on it.
