Hi there,
if a were in wifi with my G3 and got out of reach, the device needs about 20 to 30 minutes to establish a connection to mobile network. Thats really annoying and I'm wondering if thats a hardware problem. Is there something I can try to fix it before returning it to the shop?
Thank you very much!

So I am having some wifi problems. Like most I have 5 or 6 wifis that I connect to on my phone. My issue is that I will need to use my data and my phone's wifi is stuck on trying to connect to a wifi network that is no longer available. I can't turn wifi off or anything. My only fix is to restart the phone. Any clues?

Yes. I believe I'm experiencing the same thing.
Here's my situation, I have the Rogers LGOG (Not rooted) and the reception @ work is extremely poor. So I turn on wifi to connect. I'm able to connect to my corporate wifi, but when I leave to go between floors and I'm out of my wifi range and return, I'm not able to connect. WI-FI is ON and it keeps searching for hotspots, but I'm not able to connect and the only way for it to work again is to reboot. Now, this does not happen consistently, but it has happened a few times to where I'm wondering is this a problem with the OS or is it the phone.
Any thoughts on this to point me to the right direction would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
Same problem with F180K, but there an OTA update arrived yesterday saying "Wifi bug fix".
Cant tell if they really fixed it, cause im waiting for my flight, so cant test it right now.

I have a att Lg optimus G E970, I think I have the same issue, only solution is restart
Not sure if it's just me, but WiFi will randomly disconnect every 5-10 minutes for a few seconds, then reconnect itself. My m8, nexus 5 and nexus 7 2013 are not suffering the same so I'm assuming it's not my router. Anyone have any thoughts?

I think the range is weak in my house my 5ghz on my s5 was 585mbps and my g3 is 296mbps but wifi works great but in my job We have like 5 differend ssids and they all disconnect alot and they all different routers but I guess in my house being closer doesnt log off but at work it does
guys chill! you dont have any problem with your wifi. our phone is looking for a better signal, if it doesnt detected that you have a poor connection it will disconnect itself and it will toggle on your cellular network.
here is your solution
go to your wifi click settings > advance wifi > and uncheck Wi-Fi signal weak and bam. you have your wifi connected all the time!
hit thanks will ya?

Lol same problem s5 wifi signal os stronger on same ssids
I also have this problem and I decided to debug it.
With my jabber client which logs every disconnect I found out that it disconnects from wifi every 5 minutes.
So I opened my router settings and found that only setting that is set to 5 minutes is interval of "Group Key Update". So I changed it to 15 minutes and now it disconnects every 15 minutes.
So it's not solution, but only a workaround. So i will set it to few hours and hope that LG will fix it soon.
Had this tab for about a month and since day 1 ive been having wifi drops.
I thought it might be my mobile hotspot or home network, but compared to other devices i know its not.
This is the only device i won out of 30 that does this.
ill be on the network and all of a sudden i lose connection and then it starts up again.
i tried changing the channel on the network and still a no go.
i thought of rooting it but really wanted to just keep it stock.
If anyone knows of a rom that would fix the wifi drops 100% then id consider rooting.
please help

I have the same experience.
I have a T320 (8.4" WiFi) which I had rooted using the Towelroot method, and I kept getting the "Now connected to... [router]" reconnects even when I was sitting right in front of my router.
I found that by keeping "WiFi Always On" (which I believe was the default?) during sleep instead of "only when plugged in" or "never", those wifi drops are less frequent, but still an annoyance.

Hey guys,
Just got my OP3 2 days ago, a beast of a phone!
I have an issue with wifi connectivity. It keeps dropping me when the signal is less have half the icon on the screen. Then usually when I walk closer to my router, it reconnects, if not, then I have to manually do it.
Pretty annoying. Anyone have a fix?
Thanks!

change the internet protocol of your router to IPv4 only. The default is IPv4/IPv6..
Hello!
I have the strangest problem with my Huawei Mate SE and I'd be shocked if you've ever seen something like it. Up until 24 hours ago everything was working mostly perfectly. But now I'm having network issues, and these aren't ordinary networking issues.
I cannot connect to the internet with WiFi or my mobile network. BUT, there is one network that allows me to reach the internet, my home wifi network. I can connect to different networks, I can connect to 4g and 4g LTE, but I keep getting timeout errors going through those.
I've already factory reset my phone and I'm about to return this phone if it can't be fixed. Does anybody have any ideas? Thank you!
