[Q] i9195 not connecting to wifi n 5 Ghz

Bought brand new I9195 and it only connects to 2.4Ghz, and would not connect to 5Ghz wifi.
We had I9190 and it was connecting to N 5Ghz wifi just fine. My S3 still connects to N 5Ghz fine, all PCs connect to 5Ghz fine, and only speakers connected to 2.4Ghz.
Anybody know what is the problem might be?
Phone have been updated to latest official version of software (via settings menu) and still no 5Ghz connection. Tried before update and still no connection.

I've got the same problem. Anyone an idea to fix this

Go into the router settings, and select a different 5 GHz channel. Most likely a lower one will work.

G Pad / CM11 M4 wifi N speeds?

Hi, i was just wondering what kind of wifi speeds you guys have with your g pads?
I am trying to stream HD movies with a xbmc / yatse combination however the tablet keeps buffering.
If i have the tablet 1m from my router it cannot auto negotiate to more than 72mbit and if i do a test with jPerf on a computer en iPerf from markedet i cannot get more than 15 Mbit/s @ 1m and excelent signal (-20/-30dB)
If i use a dlink n port USB dongle from a laptop it gets 150Mbit/s
I have tested with 3 different routers with the same resultall setup for speed with n only, wmm, best channel and so on)
*D-link DIR-665
*Zyxel 300mbit n somthing
*Linksys EA6900
I also tried a simple download from my NAS and speedtest.net to ensure iPerf was correct.
Has anyone one experienced the same problem on CM11 or other roms?

cant connect my home wifi

so i bought lg g3 for usa unlocked version sim free and when i tried to connect my home wifi it doest evan find it
i can log in into any wifi i want excep my because i cant find it on my phone
i live in israel i have the FiberBOX router By hot a network supplyer
what can i do to find my wifi? is there a problem with the phone?
again i cant find my home wifi but i can connect into any wifi i want

Is it just your own wifi you cannot find because doesnt sound like a phone issue if you can find some signals but not your own

try a channel from 1 to 10 on which your router is sending.
I thing, all the Wi-Fi you can connect are on channel between 1 to 10.
So even you can try a channel where a Wi-Fi you can connect to is sending.

you have to set the channel (between 1 and 10) ON YOUR ROUTER. If you go to your router in the wi-fi settings, you will probably see the other w-fi networks and thus the channels on which they are sending.

Trouble Connecting to 5g Wifi

I have a 500cl model Zenfone 2, the Taiwan version. I'm having trouble seeing my dads 5g wifi network at his home.
The network mode is set to A/N/AC-Mixed and the wireless channel is set to Auto.
I understand there are some limitations to the channels or something in the phone in terms of 5g radio. I really don't know. I'm a total noob. It would be nice to be able to connect to the 5g wifi though. I can't even see it in my list at the moment.
The networks works fine itself, as we have a number of other devices connected already. Just can't get my zenfone to spot it.

I do not have any issue with wifi 5ghz

When i was at a friends i couldn't see his 5g ac router at all i did some research and found a old thread said to put the channel on 159 and sure enugh soon as we did it my phone was able to see it and connect. At home my phone finds my 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz with my wireless n router but connected at max of 74Mbps so i did some tweaking and found certain channels the phone woudn't see the 5Ghz band anymore but at 157 found it again and connected at 150Mbps both me and my friend run ddwrt on our routers.

Try changing the channel. My phone connects to my 5GHz network automatically without hassle and will switch from 2.4GHz to 5GHz preferentially when I come in from the backyard for example.

5GHz Wifi signals can not bee seen or connected to

How's it going guys? I have my Linksys router setup to 2,4 and 5ghz AC. For some reason my HTC 10 can not see the 5ghz signal along with other signals around my room. And my 2.4ghz speed is mad slow. Only getting 15mbps download when only 5' away from the router. I get 100mbps on 5ghz Ac on my PC.
Every other device I own sees and connects to the 5ghz Ac signal except my HTC 10.

Hi, I just tried to connect to my Netgear Dual Band router on the 5 GHz Band and it worked fine..possibly refresh the signals and then turn both the router and the phone on and off? But I assume you may have tried that already?

Have you tried WiFi Analyzer? I can see and connect to my Asus 5Ghz router with no issues...

Did you flash anything on the phone?
Definitely use WiFi Analyzer to configure your router/APs.

When you go into advanced wifi settings, what does it say under "wifi frequency band?" You may have it set to 2.4 gHz only. Check that before re-flashing anything.

It's set to auto. If I set it to 5GHZ only like 2 networks show. My PC sees like 10

I use htc 10 it does not see the network at a frequency of 5 GHz on channel 149
