I m using a Dr Ketan custom rom. prior to that i was on Stok samsung rom. whilr flashing Dr ketan rom i just did wipe data/dalvik cache.
now i want to go another rom.
My question is should i wipe data, system, cache, dalvik cache? will there be any prob if i wipe system.
does Custom rom has system included in it? or it uses stock system ?
what do u mean by clean install Rom?
What is the best way to install new rom if i m already on custom rom?

Well, if you want to go stock ROM, ODIN will do the job. No need to clean anything.
When it comes to custom ROMs, unfortunately there is no 1-size-fits-all solution.
Whichever custom ROM you want to install has instructions unique to it. Read the flashing instructions carefully. Follow them to the letter. You should be okay.

Helo.. i have question about gio.. before want to flash custom rom.. need to flash superuser and cwm right?? if only flash superuser, can? sorry my bad english and stupid question.. i'm tired how to solve my problem camera, everytime i flash custom rom.. i wanna flash xperiatized on my gio.. what i wanna do before flash?? wipe data only??
You have to flash CWM first. After that you have to wipe everything (data, cache, maybe dalvik-cache) and then you have to install your ROM.
If you was on Stock before you have to wipe everything again.
Now you can reboot and enjoy your rom.
PS: There's no need to flash Superuser.

If you are on a Stock-ROM than flash this: http://www.android-hilfe.de/attachm...-signed_cwm-5.0.2.7-flashablezip-ext4-rfs.zip
When you have installed the Custom-ROM than flash this: http://www.android-hilfe.de/attachm...-signed_cwm-5.0.2.7-flashablezip-ext4only.zip
How to flash:

Hello guys,
I am currently on Dual core v7 with doomlord kernel, I want to flash any other rom so what should I do now ?
Please help me.

Just in the way you flashed [email protected] Rom. Make a backup, wipe data/cache/dalvik cache in recovery(it would be better to wipe system too), then flash it. It also depends on which Rom you are going to use, read the original post carefully.

depends on what rom you want to go for.
If you are trying to go for any custom roms based on CM9/10 then you will need to flash the supporting kernel first.
then go to CWM:
wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache partition,
Go to mount and storage
wipe system, wipe data, wipe cache
Go to advanced
wipe dalvik cache.
Then flash the zip for a clean install.
If you want to flash stock based rom then you don't need to flash kernel. (*if Dual core Rom is based on Stock rom only. I don't know which kernel it uses)

am doing all the steps mentioned, and am still on locked boot loader.
thats your problem you cant have custom roms on locked bootloaders.
when you install other custom roms you should follow those steps
factory reset
cache partition wipe
wipe davlik cache (cwm>advanced)
(i also format system but its optional)
install rom zip
reboot... i do this and i have never stuck on sony's logo

I use Samsung Grand I-9082. I don't know much about android's workings and followed a youtube video to root my phone. I was then on 4.2.2 and then out of curiosity upgraded to Cyanogenmod 10.1. It was fine so when Cyanogenmod 11 came out i flashed it too using the same CWM recovery. Since about a month ago my phone is becoming unresponsive sometimes especially at lock screen and occasionally it reboots by itself while i'm in the middle of something.
Is there any way i can go back to android 4.2 from CM 11? I should also mention here that i don't want to unroot, just downgrade to a stable rom that my phone will be able to adequately function with, without causing any trouble.
So suggest some good stable roms with dual sim capability. I'm considering gennxt custom rom.
I'm not much technology literate, so kindly give me instructions for the procedure. Thanks in advance.
You can flash any stock custom rom
Or restore your stock rom backup through cmw recovery If you have
