Will any of you be buying it? (Free shipping + $10 off until Oct 1st)
I know I'm tempted.
http://dbrand.glass/
I would instead go with their front skin and the protector which comes with it.. It's really decent.
After using Nillkin tempered glass and seeing it's quality ... No $30..$50 protector for me sir! $10 is the most I'll be willing to shell out
But yeah, those who are really quality conscious should grab the dbrand glass.. After all, they truly are the most precise fit on earth!

I never liked the look of the front skin, I feel having a uniform look on the front is most aesthetically pleasing.
I think I'm going to go for it.
I really don't get it why there has to be cutouts for camera and sensors. Is it really necessary?
It makes the glass feels cheap and looks like $5 ones on AliExpress and eBay :/
I probably won't be getting one, but you've got to love dbrand's product page. They almost convinced me I should spend that money I don't have. If any of you have doubts about glass screen protectors, they are actually quite great. (Provided they use Gorilla Glass, most companies cheap out on the glass and you end up with an expensive piece of crap on your phone.)

I'm pretty sure the proximity sensor needs the cutout, but not sure about the camera.

No it doesn't. Please take a look at Spigen or MimeUSA glass series.
I ordered one to have a deeper look on it.
30 CAD are ~21 €
That's worth a try!
I hope that the oleophobic coating is better than others.
just bought with discounted carbon fiber skin

This is the only thing keeping me from jumping on it right now. It just looks way too noticeable on that one shot they have of it. Will have to wait for review photos.
Nillkin and Spigen Tempered Glass are great. Once you use a glass protector nothing else comes close.
I look forward to seeing how the dbrand gorilla glass works out, and how it feels.
Their skins are great, I'm sure the glass will be just as well done.
I use the iLoome and LOVE it, no cutouts other than the earphone
too expensive, using 3$ cheap chinese glass now, cascaded edge and smooth
'It' arrived today
Will put it on and take pictures afterwards.
I just received my dbrand glass and it's amazing !
Again a very good quality product from dbrand !
And it's funny to see the silicone adhesion working
Just a bad surprise when I open my letter box, french customs (I suppose...) made a "good" job
Hopefully dbrand's package does the job ! :good:
(see the photos)
I installed it yesterday and it was kinda tricky. Wasn't my first tempered glass protector but I wanted it to fit perfectly and that's why it was that tricky
I'll try to take good pictures with another N5 to show you the quality of the product.
It's very thin, has rounded edges and has a smooth feel. I hope that the coating lasts longer than 4 weeks as the products of most competitioners do.
But I expect and hope for a longer no fingerprint effect.
Ah, and the cutouts are really no problem. Because the dbrand glass is so thin, you can hardly recognize the cutouts if you do not want to...
So long!

I want to buy a tempered glass screen for N5 within a week or two. But I can't decide between :
1)Mime Ghost Glass or Feather Glass
2)Glass-M tempered glass
3)Nillkin tempered glass
4)SPIGEN GLAS
Currently, I am slightly inclined towards Mime(read good reviews). I heard that SPIGEN GLAS has some issues and the fix can take a while. I guess that is out of my option. My Requirements are : a) the touch should work fine b) no bubbles c)should work fine with a case.
Can you please suggest me which one to buy?
Thanks in advance,

I just received my Nillkin protector. I'm hoping to install it tonight so I will try to post some pictures for you. My first impressions are that the packaging is great and the camera protector (not glass) seems great. The kit for installation is pretty good too. Can't wait to install it.
If it turns out to be rubbish I'll plump for a MIME one. Everyone speaks very highly of them.

I had the (defective) Spigen GLAS.tr, and am still waiting for that replacement.
Applied the MIME Ghost last night and I can say that it's one of the best glass protectors I've ever used in terms of feel, rounded edges, adhesion (even after a couple of pull-offs and re-applications, to get rid of specks with scotch tape), and so forth.
Put it this way - I have a replacement Spigen on the way at some point, as well as a pair of the Nillkin units - but I just finished ordering another MIME Ghost in case something happens to this one.
Think about orzly glass screen protector, put mine about a week ago flawlessly, no bubbles, very good touch and feeling response, cut out are perfect
And is laminated glass, a thin plastic sheet coupled with glass, same as car windscreen, don't know if other are laminated or tempered glass

I bought the Nillkin tempered glass screen protector. First time ever using tempered glass and I will never go back to anything else. It simply blows me away and looks great. It genuinely looks like I'm going naked screen wise. No air bubbles, comes with instructions and all the necessities. Overall I highly recommend. :good:

I bought the Nilkin, and I am waiting for it. I bought it mainly because the price was low, I hope it will be of good quality
Glad somebody has had a good experience with the NIllkin. Didn't get a chance to fit mine tonight so will have to do it tomorrow. Do you have a case with yours Benman715?

I've had my Nillkin fitted for the past 24hours or so, I'm very happy with it. Excellent quality, fitted up perfectly, looks/feels great and it was a good price.
I loved the MIME Ghost glass and Feather glass on the HTC One and will be looking to get one of them soon for the N5. My Spigen GLAS.tR totally carcked it so got a refund for that. Never tried the Nillkin. Has anyone actually tested the theory of the Nillkin being "anti-explosion"? LOL.
Anyone tested these with polarized sunglasses? Specifically the Mime or Nillikin

Can anyone with any of these glass screen protectors comment on wether there is or would be any affect of the cutouts being over the camera and sensor versus only a cutout for the earpiece.
Also Can anyone report whether any of these glass screen protectors resist fingerprints well or not?
Just ordered a Nillkin, will let y'all know what its like when I get it.

Yes I do. I have the spigen hybrid case. Overall I'm smitten with the look and feel of tempered glass. The case is a fingerprint magnet unfortunately. Best of luck with everyone who ordered tempered glass. Its well worth it IMO.
Does anyone have any photos of MIME, Nilkin, Glass-M? (I have Spigen GLAS.tr which has a lifted corner)
But I heard that Spigen GLAS nano's are coming out soon.
Is anyone as annoyed as me with Spigel's absolutely ridiculous line of product and naming choices? No clarity between feature, functionality, what's what, etc. Add in the Amazon factor and it's pure chaos. They might have the best cases, but they need some serious help in business management. If I ran their company, I'd have addressed this immediately.
Anecdotally, I'm nowhere near the first confused person. Someone much smarter than I (which, really, is most people) found their offerings wildly confusing and simply ordered one of everything before deciding to return all but the one which suited him best. I did the same given their complete inanity.

I got the defective Spigen glass and just received nillkin tempered glass and installed it about an hour ago.
It seems good overall and unlike Spigen glass, it has a cut out for the proximity sensor.
there are small bubbles with nillkin protector and I am hoping it would disappear by tomorrow.
I've always loved spigen's protectors, but this time it was a big NO NO.
I mentioned this on another thread but my Orzly after 5days of use was scratched quite a bit. I've no idea how as it only sat in my pocket.
I have a Nilikin on order but I'm currently using a £5 'helicopter blade coating' protector I got on eBay and it's great, no Orange peel and you really couldn't tell it's there. Still like the glass protectors though so I'll go with the Nilikin when it arrives.

Nillkin frosted in black with a orzly tempered glass, It provides a good amount of security. After almost 1 year, no scratches on the glass and I've dropped my phone a while biking a few times and it looks brand new. Plus the phone looks hella sexy in the nillkin, it feels great too
Hi!
You can either buy a cheap glass or a good quality ones pleae note you will get cheap one for around 3 dollars they look the same as expensive one but the real difference will be visible when you use it the really cheap one will have bubles and most of the cheap one are either not tempered at all or not properly tempered so they will break. They wont have anti fingerprint coating and also wont be scratch resistant.
Remember at the end of the days its a glass and almost all glass will look the same but even there are different qualities the best once are from Japan.
We as novoice wont know the difference that includes me hence we suggest branded stuff which are expensive but tried and tested and trusted

Hey Dustin is it possible for you to do a review of the Orzly Fusion Case maybe?
great review. very informative. I'm wondering when they're actually going to start shipping to the US?
Hi the screen protector which comes with the phone is a normal pet one which will work fine for few days after which it become almost unsable as it will get scratched easily and is prone to finger prints.
So I would strongly advice go for a glass screen protector and till you your hands on one use the protector with which you phone came with
Also try getting a thinner protector as the thicker it is the more issue you will have using the fingerprint scanner thoug it is only a matter of getting used to
I will def be doing a review of the fusion case soon!
My Orzly glass protector does not have a hole for the front cam.
No the tempered glass ones dont, only the regular screen pros do

Official OP2 tempered glass has a front camera cutout. And nice 2.5D sides for a smooth feel.
Comes in a very nice pack with guidance and stickers to get the job done right. Much better than cheaper eBay ones I tried so definitely worth the extra money.
I also like how the glass helps guide my finger to the fingerprint scanner by feel as it's now more inset.

I'm using a medium-weight case on mine. No screen protector though.
On shopping markets like AliExpress or Gearbest you can find them. I think I'm also going to buy one
I just got my Nillkin protector and was a bit disappointed since the camera lens protector was just a plastic film instead of a tempered glass one. Though I must say it is indeed a high quality product.
Another option is a cover with cutouts for the lenses and flash. So nothing actually covers the camera lenses, but does provide some protection to glass area.

That's not a cover - that's an OEM piece to replace the actual lens glass if yours break.
I have a Savvies tempered glass protector on my G6. It didn't come with a rear camera protector and the cutout for the sensors also extends to the front camera, so theres no protection for the front camera either. I wish I'd known about the Nillkin protector before now, as I had a few Nillkin cases and protectors for my G4 in the past, and always found their gear great value for money.
I also have a Spigen "liquid crystal" clear cover on my phone. Its not the thinnest but it does seem like it will give some sort of protection.
Here's my temporary protection while I wait for the glass camera protector to arrive from China.

Hello! Nillkin is already up to date with glass and case, just let know:
Frosted shield case:
http://nillkin.org/smartphones-acce...-9-accessories/nillkin-huawei-honor-9-frosted
H glass (0.33mm, flat edges)
http://nillkin.org/smartphones-acce...-honor-9-accessories/nillkin-huawei-honor-9-h
H+ Pro glass (0.2mm, 2.5D edges)
http://nillkin.org/smartphones-acce...or-9-accessories/nillkin-huawei-honor-9-h-pro
Bought h+ pro. Review as received
Any news on the screen protectors? Is there any edge-to-edge apart those with adhesive only on the frame?
Yeah, this glass is a piece of sh*t. Don't buy it. Got it last week and it's not anywhere close to edge-to-edge, you will have a 2mm gap on each side and it doesn't cover the whole display. Save your money and order a Nillkin which should be exactly the size of the screen. I've ordered it online and the same day returned it in Olomouc.
The one in the first post, the H+ on Ali.
Yes, it is, but it should be worth the waiting. And I've ordered it a week before Honor 9 was available in EU, so it should be here this week.
Man you just got the one I've returned, the man in Olomouc wrote the Honor 9 on the top, lol.

And

Reviews coming soon...
Just got this case http://nillkin.org/smartphones-accessories/huawei-phones-accessories/huawei-honor-9-accessories/nillkin-huawei-honor-9-frosted and this protective film http://nillkin.org/smartphones-accessories/huawei-phones-accessories/huawei-honor-9-accessories/nillkin-huawei-honor-9-1 for free with the case; ordered on Ali.
Super Frosted case (black) - very nice case, really sturdy BUT I have few complaints - it's kinda slippery on the sides but this will go away after some use maybe and the bottom side around jack, charging port and speaker is a bit sharp and if you're holding the phone with the little finger on the bottom it't not really comfortable. Besides that it's really nice case for the price but I expected a bit more. But once again for the price it's more than OK.
Super Clear Protective Film - in terms of size the best screen protector I've had. Obviously it's not edge-to-edge but it does cover the whole display with gaps on the edges BUT the display is fully protected so thumbs up for me. In terms of "anti-fingerprint" it's nowhere close to the display or the back but is much better than some noname protector I've got with TPU case. Overall very nice screen protector for free but I'm still waiting for the Nillkin H+ tempered glass and some noname edge-to-edge tempered glass.
Once I get my hands on the H+ I will post the review.

Well scratch protection should be "good enough" but the plastic film will scratch very easily and H+ tempered glass should be much better as tempered glass is always more durable.

Yeah got the same one with the so called arc edges. As Mentioned when you put it over the screen there is like a gap on each side of the screen left and right which it not covers. Looks and feels like cr*p
Haven't found any good glass one yet, tried cheapo ones from Aliexpress and now the expensive Nilkin one, they are literally all the same.
Could you post an actual photo on the phone please?
Yep, sure. No halo effect on the sides? What about oleophobic coating?
Anybody tried liquid protection?

Guys, don't you think that if "liquid protector" would be real thing all mobile phone manufacturers would already use it or sell it in their shops, branded and for a lot of money?
