[Q] Music stops when phone locks - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys, I've just got the G3 last week and I love it. However the battery life is horrid coming from the G2 so I rooted it yesterday, installing greenify, G3 Tweaks box, system tuner and SELinuxModeChanger.
Today I was unable to play music through spotify and poweramp because the app closes when the phone sleeps. Any help would be great guys!
Thanks

maybe a setting in greenify?
Just try to disable greenify in xposed framework and see what happens...
If it works then you'll be sure it comes from greenify ... but if not ... :s

It's definitely because of the greenify. try to click on the "hibernate" button in greenify, then you'll find out your music stops, because you add your music player in the hibernate list. do not put the apps that you need to run in the background in the hibernate list.

Figured it out! System Tuner killed apps automatically :S

Your Top five favourite/most used apps

Everyone has to have some favourite apps out there, share them here to get the word out there so others that may not have heard of them can try them out too!
My favourite apps are:
1) Tasker- This app runs everything on my phone and is invaluable. It's got a steep learning curve but once you know what to do there is endless possibilities.
2) Beluga - Just discovered this app earlier in the week and it's already replaced Kik as my go to messaging app. It is a group chat messenger that has native iphone and android apps, but also works through text, so any friends without smartphones can still communicate, great for organizing events and parties, but obviously also works for 1 on 1 conversations as well. A blackerry version is in the works as well. The UI is beautiful to boot.
3) Titanium backup - Flashing with my GT- i9000m scares the crap out of me due to samsungs garbage design for the phone risking it dying every time, but I know that if it does this will have all my info there when the phone gets replaced.
4) MX moto - not the greatest of games but I use it to kill time without draining battery like something like dungeon defenders does.
5) 3 (cubed) - by far my favourite music player, I used this app for over a year trying out other music apps but none of them had the same charm. I tried out double twist, even bought air sync (which doesn't work at all) the player crashed randomly all the time and the pc client is slow and laggy garbage, deleted it all and now its back to 3 for me!
ADW Launcher EX - Best launcher, if only it had the launcher pro plus widget lol
Handcent SMS - Best one for me
Beautiful Widget - Awesome weather animations and all..
SMS Backup+ - Saves sms to gmail
Fring - Use frinngout a lot!
Super power
Browser
Google Maps
Market
Cashe Cleaner

[Q] Uninstalling unwanted applications that come default with tab?

Hy all, I just want to know is there anyway I can uninstall applications in my tab that come default while buying it. Because there are many trash application's which I don't use such as Internet, my files, drop box, play video, etc.. These came by default in my tab when I bought it and I don't need them so that I can free up some memory for other apps and I don't know why there more than one pre installed app in samsung tab such as chrome and internet, music player and play music and also chat on app. If there is any way to uninstall these apps it would be greatly helpful, thank you!!!

The only way to remove them would be to root your tablet. Otherwise you can not remove them.
Once rooted you could use Titanium Backup to remove certain programs or using a root explorer delete apks manually.

I'm playing Crash of Clans too but never have a problem with it. But I have a problem when using the Vine app. It force closes and I have to restart my tablet to use it again. I don't know if it is related
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 4
currently changging the launcher into Nova launcher.
haven't experience any freeze since then..
maybe these freeze cause by TW launcher

Playing Pokemon Go! App Always Closed When Minimized

Hello, I have tried freezing Pokemon Go! in the memory but every time I minimize the game to reply a message, or open instagram or facebook, when I open back the game, it loads from the start, as if it was closed. For those who don't know about the game, this app loads for more than 20 seconds so this issue is driving me crazy. I have this game installed in two of my other phones; LG G4 and Oukitel K10000 and only the Mi Max has this issue.
Things I have tried:
1. Freezing the app in the task manager.
2. Removed battery optimization for Pokemon Go! app
I haven't tried it in MIUI 7 because the phone upgraded when I started using it to MIUI 8.
I am using the 16GB and 2GB version of the Mi Max. Any help would be appreciated. :fingers-crossed:

PUBG Mobile problem in Nova 3

Hi guys,
Has anyone experienced /encountered this problem on PUBG Mobile where you need to re-download resources the next time you play the game?
I always need to download or reinstall the game just to be able to play it again. :crying:
I noticed that after installing the game it takes up 1.8Gb of space then I'll be able to play it and then when I get home and try to play again it will start downloading resources again so I go to the apps menu under settings and I am surprised that the app is only taking up >300Mb. It's been like this every time.
I hope anyone will be able to help me on this matter coz I really like playing this game on my nova 3. Thanks! :good:
