Install drivers
Open Download tool, set your handset into QPST Download mode (Power key+ Voice down key) and connect your phone with USB cable.
Click set path>Browse folder>Select 591379_8376_WCDMA_V000003(By Guneet) where you extracted it
Click Check Port
Take a deep breath and Click Download All

Your splash.img will disappear and blank screen will come don't worry just flash Recovery again(See Downloads

so in this post i am going to explain how to downgrade baseband.Remember that the following steps are only for karbonn a5 and walton primo,spice mi355.
HOW TO DOWNGRADE BASEBAND​
rEQUIREMENTS
1.)stock baseband of our phone
DOWNLOAD HERE
2.)Rest every requiremwnts are same as for upgrading.(check post no.1)
pROCEDURE
1.)Unzip the baseband file in any folder.
2.)opent the FASTBOOT1.0.2.4
3.)connect your phone in QPST DOWNLOAD MODE.(power button+volume↓key).
4.)Rest all the steps you know as they are same for downgrading.(check the post no.1)
NOTE:you don't have to download the NPRG7627A.hex file which you did in upgrading.
What after downgrading??
just go HERE and flash this rom via CWN and ENJO(Y):laugh::laugh:

i dont own that device and u try out with the a7's stock baseband it will work fine.

Doesn't help...
I did everything correctly...
and when I click on download....It checks the NRP.....file and says go ok.
Then.....BP Download failed.....

dont add the nprg file to the gb baseband it will fail then i have already mention there in block letters

I haven't added it...But still it fails...
Do we have to delete the old NRPG file...???

Yes I do have the proper drivers..If I didn't have had them then how would I have updated my baseband..

And yeah the procedure was further done...
after the go ok...it starts downloading some files...
After that....A red screen with Ap (and some chinese language written) appears on the fastboot status screen.......
and then nothing happens..My phone boots with the normal way...
When I restore any backup, it says, MD5 mismatch...
and when I install any new ROM, it says download complete but nothing happens.....

the chinese message will come its all normal you have not properly backed up the rom i think so you should download the backup file provided in the group(fb).

The Chinese message comes on a RED SCREEN...
Tried many backups and also tried the Storm rom.....But doesn't work..
Really stressed...Phone is bricked...

[ROOT][S/SL] How-to for rooting newest firmware 6.2.B.1.96

So guys I have got root on the newest firmware 6.2.B.1.96!
Since Sony has patched our beloved perf_event exploit (with which we rooted 30+ Xperia devices) I had to find an alternate way... so I did the smart thing, just used the kernel on which the exploit works, root the device and flash back the newest kernel!
THIS WORKS ON BOTH LOCKED & UNLOCKED BOOTLOADERS!
BTW if someone needs a full FTF of this new firmware here it is: XperiaS_LT26i_6.2.B.1.96_1257-6919.ftf - 485.30 MB

Download the three files from the download section below
open FlashTool and flash the XperiaS_LT26i_6.2.B.0.211_KernelOnly.ftf - 6.36 MB file, this is JUST the kernel of an older firmware which was rootable
now once flashing is done reboot device and connect to PC in usb debuggin mode
CLOSE FLASHTOOL <<< VVVIMP STEP
extract the file DooMLoRD_Easy-Rooting-Toolkit_v18_perf-event-exploit.zip to root directory on c:\
execute runme_ file corresponding to your OS on desktop PC, this will execute a SPECIAL version of my easy rooting toolkit <<< VVVIMP STEP
the above step is crucial! if you use any older version of the toolkit then IT WILL NOT WORK!
after rooting is over the device will restart
you can verify if device is rooted by checking for SuperSU app (it is the newest version)
once thats done now power down device and open FlashTool again
now flash XperiaS_LT26i_6.2.B.1.96_KernelOnly.ftf - 6.33 MB file to get back to the true kernel for the firmware
thats it after flashing is done just disconnect and power on device and enjoy rooted phone!
If you are facing issue of device rebooting when remounting /system partition then checkout the fix posted by @[NUT]

if u have unlocked bootloader u can ALWAYS get root by flashing any kernel with recovery + correct update.zips...
this is mostly for people on LOCKED bootloader who flashed the full FTF for the new 6.2.B.1.96 firmware....

it will but better to flash the stock .96 kernel only provided in my first post or through your regions FTF...

Is there any known fix for windows 8? It is just impossible to start in the mode while holding volume DOWN and connecting USB cable at the same time.

I have lost the your kernel with recovery and the superuser.zip that I used to root the .211 FW
May I ask you again the links for both?
edit: I found the supersu.zip, it was the 1.25, can I use it also for this new FW?
Also, can I use your 6.0.3.2 recovery? I found only this one on my laptop!

i have noticed that people get confused with flashing kernel things equating to unlocked bootloader only so wanted to make it clear that it will work on both locked & unlocked bootloaders

5. Open Root master and follow or click on red rectangle
6. Follow and click on red rectangle-which i am showing in this picture ! your device is now connected to this software
7. Click on root and wait ! it's will automatically reboot your device
8. Your device is now rooted ! and now exit the root master
9. You can see this chiness superuser in your menu!
10. Install supersu or open if already installed ! and grant permisson like this
11. supersu will automatically install su binary (need internet connection)! just grant the permisson and let the supersu uninstall Chinese superuser
Your device is now rooted :victory: ,you can also apply this method on other chiness or spreadtrum devices ! it's safe:fingers-crossed:

this phone (spreadtrum) have no cm source , so it's very hard to get cwm !
I gotta little sucess but have display issue -white screen ! but options is working ! confirmed by chinees forums!
we have a only one way to get cwm -unpack and pack recovery.img by other spreadtrum cwm recovery.img ! try yourself ....

Just do this Simply:
1. Open the tool and delete all which is written in chinese language.
2. Now extract the stock rom and wherever u find a folder, file or anything written in chinese, .ie. if one element is also in chinese lang. backspace it and write something else.
3. Now when u have renamed everything.
4. Open flash tool, Select .pac file from extracted stock rom folder.
5. Now u won't get fdl1 error but hwinfo error. Double tab on hwinfo one and ull get browse option.
6. Open stock rom extracted folder, and find a folder inside named a hw_info.
7. Select the 2nd file of it and click ok and Flash it.!! :cyclops::cyclops:

It's too easy ,
1. remove the battery and re insert it,
2. Switch on phone (don't let the screen lock ), once it is ON , Dont Forget to Turn on the Data connectivity or wifi .
3. go to Gmail > add New account (if there is no Existing Google account ).
4. Lock the screen and try to unlock , after you enter wrong pattern 5 times , click on Forgot password.
5. Enter the Email and password and
6.Reset Pattern .
That's all you are done

important:
befor using this program:
1.make sure you cann't go to recovery menu or DownloadMode
Recovery menu : hold power+volume down,release when you see lg logo then hold again
DownloadMode : hold volume up then connect to pc
if you could go to downloadmode ,flash stock tot files
if you could go to recovery menue(twrp) go to advance=>terminal command then type

to fix downloadmode
2.make sure you install all needed drivers

3.Fix 1 allways get everything fixed !(it is just for android 4.2.2)
its in order !if you cannt fix your device by "fix 1" then use fix2 and others(in order)
4.if you stuck at fastbootmode and cannt go to recovery menu/DownloadMode
(in other words you cannt do anythings!)
use "fix 4" if it cannt fix your device then use "fix 5"
befor using "fix 4"
you must download laf.img from this link and put it in bin folder

added : Fix 6
for 32gb d802 which show 16gb
first install 4.2.2 then root with supersuer
then use fix 6
then flash 4.2.2 with kdz
after first boot just hard reset ! and all done and the problem get fixed !
download the updated program in first post
if you have recovery but stuck at downloadmode
first download v2 then fx22.zip from one of the below links

sometimes because of flashing the wrong file or power lost in flashing or something go wrong in flashing the rom does not fully flashed and just go to fast boot mode(like the picture in the first post)

i know what he asked i answered that because
(i think) there is no way to go to fastboot normally

I think the same. I tried enter fastboot and download via adb, and phone reboots normally .
If we had fastboot access, we'd easy can downgrade software. It's very simillar as NVflash in Tegra devices - you can't enter it normally, but only after flashing special custom AndroidRoot bootloader. Fastboot would allow us to install custom recoveries over official KitKat - so it has been removed from Samsung Devices, and repleced by Odin.

Hello,
I just bricked my G2 (802) while flashing a recovery.img and now I only could boot to download mode.
If i want to boot to recovery it says secure boot failed or something like that.
I tried to flash back to stock by using .tot file but in Flash Tools i get a error message saying:
Model information check Fail!
If i try to flash a .kdz file I get a Page Error.
Someone knows another solution ?
UPDATE
I could fix it with another .ddl file using flash tools! (see attachment)

I doing
On the phone use Total Commander to copy the files to /system/bin and change the permission to 755 on each. And
Type code in adb but Nothing's happening on the screen it was adb should remain

Reverting back to STOCK ROM [REGAIN WARRANTY] Need Help

Guys there are too many threads on this topic but nothing makes everything clear.
So please share your thoughts here.
Present scenario
I'm on the Indian ROM ZUI 2.0.093
I just got the handset with this ROM installed.
When I check for updates this is what I get.

Please tell me if flashing this CN ROM will get me OTA and warranty services.

Qn: after I flash the this CN ROM,
1.How will I get Google services.
2. Should I continue to use this CN Rom and do OTA with VPN enabled or
Flash any specific Indian ROM in any specific method to get the services.
I think the seller has unlocked the bootloader.
But there is no custom recovery installed and there is no SuperSU and not sure if the bootloader is locked or unlocked.
(I'll check on this and will update the scenario)
Please help
Also please provide links to flashing guide (CN Rom) qpst qfil if possible.

- Flash Chinese stock ROM 1.9.044 using QFIL
- Flash Indian Stock ROM 2.0.093
- Install FlyVPN in your phone after booting the previously insatlled Indian ROM.
- Connect to any China server using FlyVPN
- Open updater app and you'll see an update to Version 2.0.133, hit update and let the phone update.
- AFter update, connect to Chinese server through FlyVPN again, and open the updater app again.
- You should see an update to Version 2.5.104 this time, hit update and let the phone download and install the update.

I'm receiving OTA through china VPN though very slow .
But the Nougat OTA 2.5.104ST is failing (3 times).
I think I'll stick with marshmallow for a while since the 2.0.133 build is just fine

After you unlock your bootloader, the phone shows a message on boot stating that you unlocked your bootloader. This shows that your warranty is void. After flashing stock ROM through QPST, you no longer get this message. You get your warranty back.

Getting its easy way
Flash any zui version like 2.0.93 with mi-flash or qpst .
Then go to update app and clear it's data ( turn on mobile data or wifi ) .you will receive update notification in notifications .
Update it .
Again after updating clear the updater app's data .
You will get ota fine .

Sure, please refer to the screen shot below, if the 2nd command output is all "false" after reverting to stock, only then probably warranty can be reclaimed. (of course unless they maintain a registry of unlock_bootloader images issued phones). :good:
