My new favorite face. The inner ring is solid where you have calendar items. The tick marks turn red to count down the minutes until next meeting. If you have multiple calenders the ring uses the same colors as the phone. I have three (google, lookout, and tripit) so this is super handy!
That's neat, but, this is a thread... why exactly?

To your watch? It's a stock face.

I noticed those solid sections but I never considered they were showing my schedule. Thanks for the info!
If only they added day as well as date to this it would be perfect.
Hopefully this functionality gets exposed so custom face designers (and us) can make use if it and add whatever we like.
It's definitely the best watch face. I tried to use Retrograde but keep coming back to classic just for that.

This is my current favorite face, but I can only get it to show my primary calendar. :/

You get multiple colors on the watch based on calendar colors? I have 2 calendars with different colors on phone, but they have the same color on the watch.
I noticed these highlights when I first tried this watch face, but didn't realize they were indicating calendar events. What's weird is that they are no longer being displayed from any of my calendars. Is there a way to define which calendar is displaying appointments on the watch face?
Mine is no longer color coding by calender, but possibly is never was. Only during a meeting is it shown in red (which also happens to be my selected highlight color). Events from my outlook and google calenders are both grey now. It may have been coincidence before when I looked at it that color difference were also from different calenders.
HELLO MOTO - PLEASE ADD THIS CAPABILITY!!!
only events from one google calendar shows on classic face
Only one of my google calendars shows on the classic watch face ring. How can I get all of them to? For instance, I have personal events, work events, and a shared calendar for my household. Only the personal events show. It's a great feature but not working for me.

Is there a way to change the colors ICS assigns to calendars?
I am syncing several corporate calendars on one account and a couple personal calendars on another account. None of the calendars display the same color which has been chosen for it under the web interface (i.e. one calendar displays as blue online while it is grey on my Nexus). There does not appear to be any way to change a calendar's assigned color within the ICS app.
I am either missing something or this is a pretty large oversight on Google's behalf. I was expecting a tighter integration between Android and Google Apps. It is pretty disappointing that I could at least reassign colors on my Blackberry's but not Android.
Assign the colors in Gmail from a PC and the app will sync to the same colors. Not an ICS issue, has been this way for a while.

That is the issue. I have assigned colors in Gmail but they do not sync on the Nexus. Greens are Blue, Reds are Grey.....etc
Did you ever fix this? Having the same issue.
edit: http://snoep.it/android-ics-and-exchange-calendar-colors/
Yes I did. It appears that the issue was due to using the "old" theme instead of the new google themw. Which is a dissappointment since the calendar colors in the old theme were better than the bright shades in the new one.
I have the new calendar theme but I am getting the old calendar colors :/ Dull and dark colors.
Stock calendar. All looks good when I look at the calendar on google/computer.
Phone set to sync with my google calendar and add on calendars.
I have repeating events, add on calendars for sports, holidays, phases of the moon and regular calendar entries.
Set on my phone to sync all of these.
When I open the calendar on the phone it does not show the sports. There are solid colored lines across the top of the calendar with no printing visible. When I click on one it brings up the edit screen for that entry.(the repeating events)
Are all these issues due to a buggy app? Hope to fix in an update? Or do I need to change something on the phone?
Thank you.
Hi Guys,
Loving the One X so far!
One annoyance that I can seem to figure out is with the lockscreen set to productivity and showing birthdays via calendar, it only shows upcoming birthday's (tomorrow)
Anyone know how to get the lock screen calendar notification to show todays birthdays/appointments ?
Thanks!

Go to the menu to adjust lock screens. They chose the 2nd one (productivity) and press "Settings", 4th item says "Show calendarevents" click that one.
Now chose all the calendars you want to show on the lock screen. (Most likely the one with birthdays isn't check, so just check that one and the other calendars you want to see)

Thanks for your help.
I have tried what you are saying and selected all the calendars. The problem is not that the birthdays dont show, its that the notification shows the birthdays for tomorrow and not today, thats the issue here. Wondering how to set the notifications to show todays calendar events

Uhm I don't know how to fix that. Sorry!
That's how it works unfortunately - only shows next event, not current event

Kinda beats the point then doesnt it? Having it on the notification screen is to remind us of what is due today, rather than tomorrow yeah?

All appointments in the future (also for today) are shown. Your problem is that birthdays normally add as all-day-event and this is already begon (at midnight) and therefore it is not shown.
A workaround can be to change the event to a time in the future (such as 23pm).
Hey, I'm looking for a calendar app that syncs google calendar and displays the color of the events I place on my browesr.(for exmaple- docotr appointment is red on my brower's calendar I want it to be red on my phone aswell).
Anyone is familiar with such app? is it even possible?
Thanx
Doesn't the built in calendar already doing that?

You can change it from your desktop. Log in to Google, click on calendar, and where it has your your calendar name and Tasks below it (could be different on yours). If you select the drop down arrow, you can select a different color. This will sync to your phone also.

Thanx, that answers my question on how to change the overall color on my calendar, but im still looking for a way/an app that gives me diffrent colors for each event like on my brower's calendar.
up.
If you wanted a widget, you could try Simple Calendar widget
No they were right, go via the web to your Google calendar and pick the event and you can change the color of just that event. I've done it before so I know it works. I even have separate calendars with different colors too.

yea i know i can do that in my web's google calendar but the event's color wont show up on my phone, all the events have the same color on my g-nexus...
and thanx to whoever offered the widget, im not looking for a widget but thanx anyway
I'm building a Calendar widget with Zooper pro for my Galaxy S3 4.3 with Nova prime.
It's showing date and title for the next 6 events in my Google Calendar. This part works perfectly.
I want each event to be the color of the actual event in my Google Calendar. I'm using a Rich Text field for each event, and the code goes like this:
[c=#C0COLOR#]#C0SEEEE# #C0Sd#/#C0SM# - #C0TITLE#[/c]
The thing is, when displayed on my homescreen, the text appears in the color of the Calendar, which in this case is red. You can have multiple calendars in Google Cal, and you can organize these with colors. But since Im only using one calendar, all my events are displayed as red on my home screen, even though ive made some of the single events green and blue.
I thought #C0COLOR# would get the color from the event, and not the calendar?
Bro can I get the unfinished template I have been tryin to make a calender for a long time

I can't be the only one with this problem?
Does the refference #C0COLOR# work as intended for anyone?
