US vs International version.

I'm about to buy this watch from Amazon. They have both a US and International version. I have no clue what the difference is. Any recommendations?

I bought the US version and have used it in countries outside US (India, Middle East) without problems. So I am not sure if it matters
Warranty differences. Nothing else.
What about wall chager plug? Does US version come with US type or standart EU type wall charger?
Best,
US version has US plug ( of course.....)
But who cares about that... adapters are $1....
Okay that adapter works
How about watch faces. For example should I use most common moto 360 luxury brand faces like R. Submariner, O.Semaster, T.Heuer etc.
Do these faces also compatible with Huawei watch?
If you guys who have these faces with Huawei would share some images, I will be glad.
Best,
Hello guys...
This is Huawei answer in Amazon:-
"Hello Stephen Munroe, I'd love to answer your question! Certain software updates on the U.S. and international versions of the Huawei Watch are different. For example, the Huawei Watch, featured in China, doesn't have the software update for the speaker that the U.S. Huawei Watch version has. Also, the U.S. watch comes with a 1 year U.S. manufacturers warranty while the international watch does not. (ED)"
Any experience with using the US-version in Europe?

Good question, I've just ordered the US version, I can't see why it wouldn't work here in Europe/UK though ?
I heard the US version is not IP67 certified and may not be as water resistant as the International version? Read that from a review on Amazon.
I'm using Huawei Watch US version in Asia (Pakistan) for a month now. It shouldn't be an issue because the watch doesn't have any network bands which you fear might mess up. I ordered the US version because of that speaker update which, according to Amazon Q&A, didn't land on international version. As for the IP67 certification goes, I didn't expose it to even a drop of water because I don't care if the watch is IP67 or not, speaker definitely isn't and since I'm away from US, I don't have the warranty so I can't risk it.
I was a proud owner of original Moto 360 for a year and half before this. This watch is leaps and bounds better than Moto. You're gonna love it using it and you're gonna love it when people are continuously going to compliment you because this watch is an exquisite piece of technology.

The difference in the Huawei Watch 2 international version & US is this.
Huawei did not release it's stand alone LTE version in the US, the US version lacks a sim card slot & LTE capability, it only runs on Bluetooth & WiFi & NFC.
The international version ha LTE capability, it has a sim card slot & can be used as a stand alone LTE device with it's on phone number so it doesn't need to be connected to a phone, it can run off LTE & WiFi & Bluetooth & NFC.
You're responding with comment about HW 2 to an almost 2 year old post which was about HW 1....??

Xiaomi Mi6 Global VERSION

Hi there,
I am currently thinking about getting the Mi6. After some research I read more than once in some forums across the web, that there might be a Global VERSION coming, naturally supporting more LTE bands, as they have done it before to other xiaomi phones.
Geekbuying already had a Global VERSION listed, others saying Xiaomi is trying to hit ground in Russia and Greece in the future.
Since I am pretty new to the ChinaPhone Area I would like to know if something like this sounds possible to you? In that case I would wait a few more weeks if something like a Global VERSION would pop up.
Thanks in advance :good:

Hello, I've bought a MI6 that already came with global version. If you buy it with other, you can download it here:
http://en.miui.com/download-326.html
It's a great phone with lower price, it worth it

Hi,
I did not mean the Global ROM. I meant a Global VERSION of the phone. The Global ROM does not unlock any LTE Bands.
It just felt like there are rumors about a different version of the phone coming in the future. That's why I asked if anybody knew something.

MI6 global version:

Thank you, but it seems like they are defining Global Version also just as the Mi6 running the Global Rom on it. Aliexpress is not mentioning any different specs than the "standard" Mi6. The review is also just talking about the Global Rom on the "standard" Mi6.
Maybe I was just wishing that they might release another version of the mi6 running more or other LTE bands than the one which is out already. Too bad.
Global ROM - with more languages than English and Chinese - is available.
Usually it takes a little more time to come out (2 weeks to 1 month) but it is available for all Xiaomi devices.
It comes with Google Services and improvements for usability outside of mainland China, namely GPS.
Global Versions is on the hardware side.
It usually enables more LTE bands (e.g. Band 20 @ 800MHz on the Redmi 4X), brings an EU charger and is CE / FCC certified.
It has also the Global ROM pre-installed.
So we are waiting for a Mi6 Global Version ... even though it might not come. Just looked at the mi sites in Taiwan, Russia and Poland: mi6 is available but same specs as everywhere - no B20 band mentioned.
I really do not know if Xiaomi is going to release a global version of Mi6.
But OP5 has a bunch of 4g bands.
What do u think about OP5?
I read a review in miui forum. The guy has International version, which had english specifications on the box. I boughy Intetnational version from Gearbest. The send me Chinese box with global shop rom. So that means there is a international version but you have to clarify with seller. Or consider other phone.

Had the OP5 for a few days and send it back. It did not feel fully developed yet. The viewable expanding/contracting of pixels was annoying, Camera worse than advertised, Bluetooth did not work out of the box and the customer service with OP is a big ****up since I have been returning it. Its not worth the price it has. Most of it could be resolved by software, so it might become a better phone in the future. But the customer service is so annoying, that I wont be turning back to OP. Better no customer service at all and lots of money less

All the sellers [ gearbest, tradingshenzhen, etc. ] do not know about an international version supporting B20 yet. So sadly, there is nothing to clarify.

My point is these sellers unbox and flash shop ROM on Chinese Version then sells them as International Version to earn more money. You have to "clarify" this before you buy to make sure you get what you want and pay for.
In case of band 20, the only way to know is to try contact to people who has originally International version to confirm. I don't think these kind of sellers will tell you the truth.

Your point is wrong, the phone in the link I provided before is the original global version. There are no chinese letters in the back of the phone, only the CE logo and designed by xiaomi.
Here you can see some photos:

Where did you buy this "version"?
I have bought on Gearbest.
"Xiaomi Mi 6 4G Smartphone
Size:INTERNATIONAL VERSION 6GB RAM 64GB ROM"
Hopefully the same version as you.

Gearbest international versions are fakes. It´s the chinese phone with the global rom installed by the shop.
Original xiaomi phones are called "Global version". And for the second time, you can buy it here: https://es.aliexpress.com/store/pro...a8a4ce16758051b7b-1502703643253-09604-UfYbAe2
You can buy original global phones also on geekbuying, spemall....

Why do you use language like this? It's unnecessary. It's condescending on a thread that has what - 3 users?! Really.
Having said that - yes, the Global version IS different from Chinese with Global ROM.
I got the blue ceramic Chinese with Global ROM because I couldn't seem to find it anywhere as INTERNATIONAL.
Works well for me: Specs vis-a-vis bands etc

Regards
Michael

The hardware of OP5T is the same everywhere around the world. Band 20 is on the supported band list for Chinese OP5T, you can check it on OP's cn cite.
Chinese OP5T ships with Hydrogen OS, as there is no Google service in China. You can flash the phone to Oxygen OS without much trouble.
I have no idea of warranty situation outside China. You might want to contact your local OnePlus service for that information.
Hi Michael,
I heard we need to buy it online even in China.
If you managed to find retailer store, can you please let me know ?
Thanks.

Hi,
Greetings from Bangladesh. I wanted to buy Oneplus 5t from China. I am having trouble with it's Hydrogen OS. My friend will buy and ship this phone from China to my country, but problem is that he says in China its only Hydrogen OS and my friend has no idea about any phone's ROM functionality. So, if he buys from China, does it have English language on that device for changing it's ROM? Because I will change it's ROM personally and I have no idea about Chinese language. Please reply and I will be glad.
Thanks

I do remember that the user is presented with a language selection page when you boot the phone for the first time. The page is in Chinese though, with one drop down list of usable language. I haven't tried using HOS in English, but I think you can.
Then you can enable OEM unlocking in developer options and proceed to unlock the bootloader then flash the ROM you like.
I bought this phone online in China.
Download the Oxygen OS from the OnePlus site. Install it onto your phone's hard drive. Flash it from recovery. It was very simple to do.

Oneplus 7T regional hardware differences and LTE-support

Hi
As @Some_Random_Username found out, there seem to be different hardware-variants of the OP7T see this thread. The primary reason for this appears to be WWAN-band support (4G/5G).
I recently noticed the 7T European SKU(HD1903) dropped support for the important LTE-band 71. This makes it a bit less global. The Euro SKU is also missing 30, 46 and 48. It does get LTE-bands 40 and 32 (missing form USA-variant HD1905) in return the latter which does not appear to be in use anywhere.
I have contacted OP via the FCC contact and also via support to find out more. If there are HW-differences, we should be able to seem them by looking at the IC's Oneplus uses: their spec's determine which frequencies the handset can accomodate. Also the antenna's are important: sometimes a dedicated antenna is placed for a specific band. At any rate, it is a bit strange to split the SKU's merely for adding band-32 to the EU-variant.
There has to be more to it than that: licencing costs and chip costs coming to mind first.
Maybe you will also find such nitty gritty details fun to know. At least I am having fun in checking this out

I was on the edge myself when deciding which variant to purchase...the bands were the deciding factor I'm in the states so didn't want any issues using my data. I wanted the Chinese variant just to be able to say I have the Chinese 7t and the symbols on the box ? ROFL but yeah copped the US variant directly from OP ? I love it...
Take a look at this:

MMS for Australia only

MMS doesn't work, plain simple.
It's an issue that only affects Australian carriers.
I found other Australian users who posted this issue on Xiaomi EU but I was not able to participate in the discussion as the forum didn't allow me to create an account.
There is no option to contact anyone from the forum, both Xiaomi and Poco didn't answer my e-mails and messages on their Facebook pages, scammer companies for sure.
So this is my reviews for this specific topic, if you're in Australia, do NOT waste your money and time with this phone and brands!
