I put mine sim card in slot and that wath shows on the screen "sim not detected" help me
try reflashing the phone using a stock rom you will need to unlock the bootloader.

My question is about are you tested the sim card on other phone on your wife or girlfriend or just other phone your old phone just put the sim on other phone and see if work there maybe is a sim problem

Yes it worked on htc incredible s and it still works

Then try factory reset, and is the phone locked for some mobile operator? are you on the same mobile operator like your parents?

Phone isn't locked i gues i don't know i am on the same operator like mine parents.And factory reset you meen reset phone? in backup and reset?

OKAY GUYS Thanks a lot i've fixed it . In the sim slot there was a lot of dusts so i cleaned and it worked THANKS a lot

i recive an update 4.2.2 android version and i update it

i had this problem once after getting my HOX. did hard press on the back cover and it did can detect sim card. also, when from flight mode to normal mode, it seem can temporarily detect my sim. what i did was affix a small patch a layer of tape on the back of the sim, and inserted it back. since then no problem arise

nope didint help tryed to putt 3 peaces of tape on the sim card then put it back on nothing no signal

Let's go to the basics, have you checked if your SIM card is properly placed?.
yes,and i put inside o lot of,from vodafone,orange,etc,and nothing.every time NO SIM!
and also,I can't call at 112(emergency).

Before you flashed your phone, did you know if your phone was SIM UNLOCK? Because no matter if you flash to different roms, if your phone is sim locked flashing your rom cannot lock or unlock your sim as far as I know.
You can flash back to a 6.1 rom and see if your phone is sim lock due that you will see that your phone ask you for the unlock code.
Ookba roms (3vo rom series 6.5) does not pop ups this message so that's why I'm telling you about flashing back to a 6.1 rom or stock rom.

Clean the SIM, if still not working get a new sim from your provider "has been known for SIMs to go capput"
If then still problems try and get phone replaced, flash back to stock before hand
but same sims work in another phons
i have xperia s with 4.0.4 android but the network is not working it show network sign(4 bars) with a red x mark on it. i check the sim lock status without sim all is 0 and with sim there is a ? sign. same simcard i m using on samsung s3 is working with no problem.
it was working but i hard reset the phone and now the network is with red x on it
do i have to like unlock or root or sumthin??
also the root bootloader status is : YES (i dont know if thats relevant)
plz need help i dont have any other microsim, have 1 normalsize sim but just worried if it a mobile problem n not the sim.
What you mean by reset? Factory reset?
Have you tried to repair the firmware? Don't root or unlock the bootloader if you doubt know what are they.

yes i did factory reset and also cleared all data from internal storage
and jus did phone repair from pc but the problem still the same
i guess ill jus try trimming another sim and check

That's what I also about to say. Try getting a new SIM and try it out. Most likely it could be related to SIM card rather than the phone issue.

I flashed build #4 of the first link you gave and could not get service. I don't need data for now.
Now I'm thinking the phone doesn't recognize the sim card. How should I check if the sim is recongized?

I removed and inserted the SIM + rebooted and it worked now.

Have you been able to get 3G working on the phone?

I just put on my N7100 the Android 4.3 DN3 (E-TEAM) and everything is working 100% but HUGE problem because my phone can't recognise my SIM card so...cant call and use my phone !
Its possible to damage the SIM card during flash !?

Hey guys, the problem is this I came over to england for the holidays and swapped out my Lime sim card for a vodaphone and landing and was greeted with a lovely message saying no sim card detected. I get the very same result with an O2 sim card.
My phone is a c6502 internation factory unlocked phone, i was on stock firmware 4.2.2
Does anyone have an idea what the problem is and how to solve it?? .
