Hi, is the n7100 chassis compatible with n7105 boards? I have an n7105 phone and wanted to replace the back, but didn't realise until I received it that I got the n7100 chassis instead.
Hello,
The chassis of the n7105 is a little bit différent from the n7100.
My n7105 was replaced with a n7100 chassis and i had a wifi problems.
The signal was very very poor.
I needed to be very close to the modem to receive a signal.
With a new chassis n7105 : wifi is ok. No problem.

Would the housing for a N7105 note 2 be fully compatible for my i317m???
n7105 is lte unlike the n7100 I know that much. are there any hardware differences between the n7105 and my i317m?
I'm currently on T-Mobile and was wondering if both models of the unlocked Note 2 would work on T-Mobile's 42 Mbps HSPA+ network; will they? Also what are the differences between the two models? Does one also have a larger developer base than the other? These answers will influence which model of the note 2 I buy.
Am not sure, but i think that the N7105 is the LTE version of the international Non-LTE N7100 (witch is mine).
Best regards
Sifou
Using a Samsung N7100
Hspa+ is 3g so yeah it should work on international one.
And yeah n7100 has a significantly larger user base.
this is XXXDDDAAA
Hy, i don't t get it... all of the roms here can be used on n7105 as well? If yes, why is there a section for n7105 at n7100 original thread?
(I'm on Hungarian T-Mobile)

The N7100 is the International version and the N7105 is the International version with LTE. The N7105 is pretty much the same as the T-Mo and ATT Note 2. I don't think flashing N7100 ROMs is a good idea.
Sent from my T-Mo Note 2
Nono, i mean flashing att and other tmo roms.
In this forum T-Mobile is really T-Mobile USA. (IMO the forum's name could be modified, but that's beyond my control.)
If T-Mobile Hungary sells the N7105 then you'd be OK flashing T889 ROMs on it, as well as I317 ones. But the question I have is: why? Aside from a few T-Mobile branded icons, or wi-fi calling which is only useful if you have a T-Mobile USA account, those ROMs usually aren't as up to date as their N7105 relatives. They also lack the language and locale settings you'd need to use it in Hungarian.
DO NOT flash LTE Note II ROMs on non-LTE Note 2 variants. There are significant hardware differences between the two.
Hi guys,
I just opened my P601 (it called P602 in Turkey where i bought and it is WIFI+3G, not LTE model) inside to check about battery problem and i discovered something else that its sim card slot / board is written P605 on it !!!
You can see the attached pics, that i indicated P602 and P605 writings.
So what do you think ? Is my tablet P601 or P605 ?
(INFO: In Turkey there is no LTE connection yet, but it is on the way.So i thought that it can be actually P605 and they downgrade it by some software or something else to block LTE or keep it around 3G.If it is like that, is it possible to turn it back to P605 again ?
Need your knowledges, infos, opinions, anything you got Thanks

In short, no.
SM-P600 - wifi only
SM-P601 - 3G
SM-P602 - 3G
SM-P605 - 4G
SM-P607 - 4G
The P600/P601/P602 all share the same processor (Samsung's Exynos 5420), while the P605/P607 uses a different processor (Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800). The 4G LTE modem is actually a part of the Snapdragon processor. If your device doesn't have a Snapdragon processor (and you can use some sort of hardware information app to verify), then you don't have 4G LTE capability. Period.
Certain pieces of hardware/connectors relating to sim cards/network connectivity in general might be shared between the 601/602/605/607. But one of the circuit boards in your device is clearly labelled as for the SM-P601 (which I believe is identical to the 602 in terms of hardware, so Samsung probably doesn't even bother differentiating).
Thanks a lot
I downloaded a program from google play and find out that it is actually Exynos.Well my hopes fell into the water but, it's better than ignorance :good:
Hello,
I know for sure GT-N5100 (3G) vs GT-N5110 (Wi-Fi only) have different LCD/Digitizer combo assembly.
Now AT&T's SGH-I467 is 4G LTE.
What really confuses me is a bunch of sellers on eBay are advertising their LCD/Digitizer assembly compatible with N5110 (Wi-Fi only) and SGH-I467 (4G LTE).
In theory Wi-Fi, 3G or LTE have nothing to do with the touch or display functions. If the one in N5100 is incompatible with the one in N5110, I can only imagine it's because the circuit layout is a bit different and the locations of connectors move a bit.
However, I would imagine an LTE circuit board (SGH-I467) would be more similar to a 3G one (N5100) than a Wi-Fi only one (N5110).
Thus, it really confuses me that an assembly is compatible with SGH-I467 (LTE) and N5110 (Wifi) but not with N5100 (3G).
It is possible these sellers are copying descriptions from each other. If a person makes a mistake, it becomes a common mistake.
Does anyone know for sure if I467 is compatible with N5100 or N5110?
Thanks

I think I have solved the mystery. The whole discussion of Wi-Fi only, 3G or 4G is IRRELEVANT. In fact, N5110 (Wi-Fi only) and I467 (4G) would share the same display but NOT with N5100 (3G) is because N5110 and I467 have only one hole for light sensor while N5100 has two holes for proximity sensor/light sensor. N5100 also has a long hole for earpiece while the other two do not. Why I467, a 4G device, doesn't have an earpiece while N5100, a 3G device, does is a mystery to me. I assume this is a business decision by AT&T since I467 is specifically built for AT&T.
