i have some question about htc desire 816 (dual sim)...its also country unlocked....
1. how to root my htc desire 816...?
2. how to unroot my htc desire 816 as brand new...?
3. htc desire 816 install all apps by defult in internal storage, it also don't give any choose option
but i want to install apps in external SD card...so how to install apps in external SD card...?
4. external SD card is read only...i want to make it writable...how can i do it...?

[Q] Problem with the phone memory

I have installed a few applications on my phone- HTC Desire (some programs and games). The problem is that no one of them cannot be transferred to the SD card and that is why I don't have phone memory. I use the program App2SD but it can't move some of the applications to the memory card, too. Please give me an advice how to solve he problem. My phone is not with root and I prefer it to stay that way.
My phone HTC Desire is with FROYO2.2

Using the same gold card for totally different handsets

Hey,
I bought an HTC touch pro2 / tilt2 sd card to remove the branding, (pre installed)
I need to install a new rom on my HTC wildfire, so I'm wondering can I simply remove the rhoddiag.nbh and rhodIMG.nbh files, and place the wildfire rom files on the same gold card (its called XTCGOLDCARD) or do I need to mess about creating a new gold card for each different handset?

How to swap HTC Desire 816 low internal device storage to larger external SD card

Hi devs,
I have come across that HTC Desire 816 though it has internal storage of 8GB...(3.8GB accessible)....too low to install large hd games etc.
Yes it support until 128GB external micro sd ....but it will be a bonus if we can swap its internal to external micro sd.
have someone able to do that ? please share.....yaaa it's must be rooted ......first .....

but still cant unlock the bootloader ......not rooted yet .........too bad ...
Should I put the obb files for hd games in ext sdcard first then mount it everytime to start the game? How about the save data? Is it automatically saved on ext sdcard?
Use "foldermount"...
can we use memory swap script of note 2
i tride to use script of note 2 from my note 2 in htc 816
but no scuss
any experienced can port it

Htc Wildfire S dead

Hello Guys,,
I installed a rom onto sd card in my htc wildfire s ... And unknowingly i removed the sd card and switched on the device .. now the device not able too boot again .... Any suggestions what i could do ?
