Hi all,
I had my G3 F400s rooted and attempted to flash twrp as the recovery. Upon rebooting, i was stuck in a boot loop where the LG logo shows for a fraction of a second before powering off and doing the same. I have no access to recovery, fastboot or download mode. The only time my computer recognizes a device having been plugged in is if the battery has been pulled out. I can access the factory reset menu, but none of the options do anything.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
First of all take off battery till 5 sec. and try download mode per kdz.
---------- Post added at 11:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:03 PM ----------
and than root your G3, next twrp recovery etc.

Oh, I forget some. Before you begin, take off the SD card, connect to pc and copy twrp, rom and su, do a full wipe or hard reset.

Just in case.

So I should put those files on the SD card? How would I go about doing a full wipe or hard reset, if I'm unable to access anything on the phone itself ?
So you've brick your G3. It's a soft brick I think. Or ... ?

You have break your G3, ? it's a fast boot with error isn't ? and so on download mode is impossible.

Charge the batteries and try one last time. If this will not help, than only service may help ?? sorry that I can't help you mate ? head up and straight up! ???
You've probably "blitz" ? (flashed) the wrong version of twrp recovery. I think it crashed the kernel and by the way automatically the rest, that's it. But if it is so, than try to remain your G3 to life ???. Do as I say. Charge the battery full and try again with kdz.
So I decided to unlock my bootloader today and install the new cyangeonmod 14.1 on my phone.
I used the OnePlus 3 Toolkit by "ahmedradaideh". But instead of installing the old TWRP I downloaded the new one. Everything worked fine I could even access the recovery in the beginning but I wanted to uninstall root after uninstalling my device didn't boot so I pluged it into my pc and erased the cache so I was able to start the phone.
The problem is the following: Whenever I try to boot into my recovery I get a blackscreen and can't do anything. I have to press volume up + power button until I get into the bootloader and erase the cache so I can boot my phone back.
I already tried to lock the bootloader and unlock it again and reinstalled twrp but it changed nothing. I also tried to install stockrecovery but it didn't worked as well.
Could you please help me...Thanks
so you still have a blank screen when entering recovery mode?
---------- Post added at 09:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:50 PM ----------
I also faced this problem a couple of days back but Official 14.1 nightlies needs the modified TWRP http://forum.xda-developers.com/devd...t/dl/?id=21065. If you have fastboot access, you should be able to flash this version. I've actually since flashed to OP3 debloated and tweaked ROM until a stable version of cm14 comes out. Hope this helps ! :fingers-crossed:

Thank you so much everything works fine now
I can't boot into system after flashing a bad ROM. Using 'fastboot reboot' doesn't work, nor does reboot from recovery. Rebooting brings me into the recovery. I tried restoring my backup, but once it gets to 100%, TWRP freezes, and I can't navigate through TWRP.
I really need help!! PLEASE HELP!
Can you get into the bootloader?

Yes
Why not try and revert back to stock recovery then sideload one of the Official Stock ROMs...that tends to fix everything normally...you'll need to backup your data.

Use this toolkit
---------- Post added at 02:52 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:43 AM ----------
Some easy tools but for this, I think all you'll need is to flash stock recovery then follow the instructions on the OP site to sideload 3.2.8
http://downloads.oneplus.net/oneplus-3/oneplus_3_oxygenos_3.2.8/
The Download link is also on the same page
Your bootloader will remain unlocked....after the phone boots, you can flash TWRP again and then SuperSu to get root on that ROM

Ok, I'll try that, thanks.
Maybe my boot partition is corrupted? That could be why I'm unable to boot. If you could please upload the a backup of that partition?
Or is my bootloader corrupted? Since I can't boot into system through fastboot or the recovery, isn't it the bootloade's fault? It doesn't send the proper command, and thus it boots into the recovery instead of the OS.
My current connection isn't good enough for an upload. it could be the case but side loading a stock ROM will fix any issue. What ROM did you flash to get you into this situation?
---------- Post added at 03:36 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:36 AM ----------
And what ROM were you coming from?
Try the most recent TWRP. https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=22429 I had my problems with a full recovery once, too. In my case it never recovered my /data partition though. If this fails you have to sideload a recent OOS Image by OFFICIAL recovery

Try holding power and both volume buttons until you get a vibration and a glowing black screen. Do it again and hold volume buttons after Lenovo logo.

Dont panic yet (i know i did). Breathe. Your device might be soft bricked.
Read this guie (fully (yes even the FAQ)). It saved me once
Be patient and dont give up too easy
