Looks like a factory mode. Was it like that since you bought it or happened later? are the buttons working?
this kind of things can help development...
It was like this when I bought it.
It said the boot loader was unlocked. I just returned it to best buy.

I hope that's what it was, luckily the had one more. I have it on the changer at the moment, haven't tried powering up yet.

I got my Droid Maxx to boot into that mode by booting it while plugged into RadioComm. You can get it to boot normally from that menu. @jcase, any thoughts, ideas, questions, or input on this mode?

Anyone know if buying this would fix broken/non functional capacitive buttons on the captivate glide? Seems like a simple enough fix, i've honestly only worked on fixing computer my whole life and the occasional ps3 as well. cell phones are something I've never attempted so if anyone could lend a hand that'd be great. I'm sure tearing the phone apart i'd be able to figure out where it goes, i just need to know if that's the right part. would make my wife's day if she could use the buttons again! thanks in advance!

I can't comment if that piece will fix your phone or not, however in the meantime for a workaround::

that actually doesn't work on any of the newer stock ROMs that I've tested on. It was also less than helpful because it leaves a 2 pixel opening for pressing the shutter button on the camera. ha. i can get the nav bar enabled in cm10, but without camera my wife won't let me leave it installed. thanks though!
My brother has this widget/icon on his rooted S III and I'm trying to identify it so that I can eliminate it. It will move from screen to screen, and when you touch it it powers the phone off. Anyone have any idea what it is or how to get it off the screen?

This may sound stupid but have you tried long pressing on it and then dragging it into the garbage bin?

I haven't physically seen it or been able to play with it myself, but he said that whenever he touched it that it would power off the machine. And, to be frank, it is one of those cases where the phone has become smarter than the owner, so trying to diagnose this remotely has been a challenge. LOL But I think my nephew figured it out as some kind of power app that he'd installed.
My wife's m7 is not rooted and she received the update to lollipop a couple of days ago 5/19/2015.
This is where we’ve been since then

I’ve held the power button to reset and try to load to boot loader... nothing...
Called Verizon... can’t help
Tried connecting the phone to my PC but cannot recognize the phone... it doesnt even detect something connected to the pc...
I’m lost guys. I need your help.
Lol that’s why its good to be rooted and s-off guys… I wouldn’t have had this problem if that was the case.
Is this considered a hard brick since I can't get into the bootloader?
Did you get to fix it?

How did it go?
I'm actually thinking of updating my phone to lollipop through HTC Sync and I'm afraid that it might cause error and get stuck on bootloop. :/
When I try and do screen mirroring from my T-Mobile Note 10+ this is what happens

Samsung Dex works fine but screen mirror is broken for me personally.
Can you turn this option off and see if that works?

You're welcome! Maybe you ticked it on by accident. I don't think its on by default.

I wish somebody would have told this to me when I had the same problem. I had the same problem and ended up factory resetting my phone.

True. My phone probably needed a factory reset anyway.
Hi guys,
I have a big proplem with my pixel 2 xl apart from the broken screen. It doesn't have any kind of os installed, the only thing I can get to is the bootloader menu. I tried to boot into twrp but then realised somehow it has locked the bootloader by itself. So I have no clue on how to fix it. I'm wondering if someone can help me, I'm not in any hurry to get thi fixed.
