Hi,
my friend gave me his N7505 because he bought it online and the modem didn't respond well in our country. So I went to sammobile and downloaded a european version of the latest ROM and tried to flash it via Odin 3.09.
I runs fine until the end and then it hits fail seconds before completing. I've reinstalled Odin, USB drivers, wiped the phone in both custom and TWRP recovery but by no means (any country based ROM I try to flash) it can't complete the flash procedure. I've tried it at least 7 times by now with different coutries.
Any ideas?
P.S. I've flashed ROMs and stuff via Odin on multiple Samsung devices at least 50+ times by now. This is the first weird case for me.

Thanks for the help, unfortunately googling the lines didn't help as I've learned that Samsung is now protecting the devices from flashing different region firmwares. My phone was french so I've flashed early french version with success and managed to update to latest one.

Hi, everyone,
Unfortunately, my first post is bad news.
I have a 5110, which I bought in China and love, and yesterday I tried to use mobile odin to flash the UK 4.2.2 stock from sammobile over my 4.1.2 rooted firmware.
Odin seemed to be doing fine, but at about 15% of the way through the process the progress bar froze and eventually the tablet restarted into Android System Recovery.
I can get into download mode. I tried to use Odin on a PC to flash the same file, but I got the error:
NAND Write!!
Failed!!
At this point I don't know what to do next. I've read some threads that indicate that this could mean needing a motherboard replacement (problem with NAND), but I hope that isn't the case…any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Hello,
I am unrooted my note 2 before, at that time it didnt give me this problem. Now this time i followed exact procedure, but Odin gives me failed notification and now i can only go to download mode. My fone was only 31% charged when I tried to unroot, Now I also don't know if the phone's charging or not. I would really appreciate any help. Thank you
Go to kies software and click tools.. repair firmware.. will ask for S/N numver located in the battery compartment behind the battery.
Kies will do the rest. Ur successfully unrooted and on total stock rom from Samsung.
Allbur data will be lost.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
Thank you.......I am on it.......will get back to you as soon as I can......
same issue but worse
having the same problems but mine is worse...i flashed cyanogenmod on my note 2..but didnt do a back up,i was trying to unroot back to 4.1.2
but fails at system.
ive loaded CWM boot its stock at the boot screen.
i need help fast.
i checked my IMEI and it say my device is the europe region version...but that stock rom doesnt flash with odin..i have tried the the india and the new 4.3 leak as well same result.....im crying now.
I have tried emergency firmware recovery from kies, its not displaying my phone model (I think not detecting my phone). I tried upgrading the firmware, it got stucked in downloading the firmware from server( I waited for more than 2 hrs).
By lot of searching various threads, I tried different region stock firm...I tried different versions of odin....I tried different USB ports, but still failed.....
I almost lost hoped but when I changed to different usb cable (original samsung note 2)....EUREKA....IT PASSED......I think the problem was usb cable (I was using nokia usb cable).......
If anyone has similar problem...pls try changing usb ports...use samsung usb cable(note 2 only).....try charging ur battery.....try latest firmware...try different versions of odin...try kies emergency recovery firmware.........AS LONG AS UR PHONE GOES TO DOWNLOAD MODE DON"T LOOSE HOPE COZ UR PHONE CAN BE RECOVERED..........
still trying everything know to man....nothing will flash.
im just stock on the boot screen

yes i can.
i flashed cwm 6 root with odin. now im back to a very slow cyanogenmod.
can i load custom roms from here?
If you can into recovery mode (CWM) and if your phone is rooted you can flash any custom rom from there....
Check the threads of the roms which you want to install.....procedure is always there...

i know i can flash rom from recovery....but how do i load a rom to the root SD.
So This is my first time posting on any forum site for help, and i was refereed to XDA by my roommate. so what happened is a few months ago i asked my roommate to root my galaxy s3 SGH-I747, after he rooted it through odin and all seemed well, BUT we never could get the phone to recognize the root and was still unable to access any root functions. so after a few different attempts we gave up. i assumed that my roommate had removed the root (bad call) but never gave it any thought. a few days ago at&t started bugging me with a software update. i just hit ignore and it would pop up again in a few hours and the icon would never go away. so i gave in and started the update. i didnt pay the phone any attention while it "updated" but later that morning i went to turn it back on and it would get to the Samsung screen then the next screen but after that it goes black and vibrates. i showed it to my roommate and he informed me that it was never restored back to official frimware like i had previously assumed. and that it never should have received the update bc it was still on a custom frimware. we tried flashing the stock frimware back on the phone and every time it would fail the nand write. i believe it was updated to 4.4.2 before i received the update from AT&T and we tried many different ways too restore it i even tried the recovery in Kies 3 but all it says is "connecting" then connection failed. so far nothing has worked. i believe that the update contained android 5.0 and maybe that is the reason none of the other ways we tried worked. i have been researching for hours trying to find a similar case but nothing matches, and i cant find a single working solution that doesn't involve possible making it worse. i can access both the recovery and download modes. please any information or help would be greatly appreciated.
Flash a custom recovery such as Philz Touch via Odin, install cm10.2 via your custom recovery. This should get the phone booted so you can determine the bootloader version on your phone. The NAND error is due to the fact that you are trying to downgrade the bootloader in Odin. Don't flash anything with Odin until you determine the bootloader. Doing so could hard brick your phone.

Hello everybody,
I bought Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-M919V ( Videotron) 3 days ago worn. This one worked on the version 5.0.1 of Android. I wanted it to be unlock. I saw the technique of * 0011 * (http: // bit.ly / 1ipFgwB), but it did not work because, according to what I read, it worked)only before Android 4.3. I thought that maybe if I flashed Android 4.3 I will able to unlock my S4 and go back in 5.0.1.
I rooted my telephone with no problem with CF-Auto-Root. I then installed TWRP. I did not made a backup. Then, I downloaded a ROM of Android 4.2.2. I put my telephone in Recovery Mode and I tried of wipe it as in tutoriels. Accidentally I pressed on Factory restore. I realized that the ROM was not on my device. I closed my phone and I reopened it. The screen was stuck on the logo Samsung. Because of that, I tried to restore it completely. I tried with TWRP, but it did not work. I tried to install the ROM that I had put on the micro-sd. I tried to flash with TWRP, but it did not work. I tried with ODIN, but it did not work too and the little box was red and had spelt FAIL. Since then, my telephone shows " Firmware upgrade encounteredand issue". I cannot go recovery mode. Kies does not recognize my telephone.
I tried to glash my phone with several other official ROMA than I got at Sammobile and of other site. I also tried with ODIN 3.07, 3.09, 3.10. I have the last drivers Samsung also.
I would send screenshot if you need it
Thank you very much
You can not downgrade that phone below version 4.4.2. Believe me, I tried. Try using 4.4.2 or 4.4.4. I unlocked my phone using the steps I outlined in this thread-->http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-tmobile/general/unlock-method-m919-m919n-t3138503
Going to anything less than 4.4.2 gave me the same error. Now with the Google Play roms that are floating around, you can downgrade from those to 4.42 and 4.4.4, but again, nothing below.
SamMobile.com has those for download here---> http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SGH-M919/

Hi! I hope some one knows how to restore apk on a Galaxy S9 plus
I was trying to get rid of Bixby and erase some apks using adb app control, I have a backup of the apks in the computer, the problem right now it's that the phone has many photos and most of them are important , I would like to know if there is a way to avoid wipe data/ factory reset, via adb or Odin.
I'm stuck on loop after the operator logo.
It doesn't boot in safe mode.
I already have android 10 ROM but I'm afraid that if I flash it with Odin , it will wipe the user data, if there is way to Just update, or restore this files please let me know.
Thank you very much for you help.

Hi! I have tried several times, and I get failure to start, the phone is detected but the flash doesn't initiate, sometimes I get this screen, sometimes it says fail .
I have installed Samsung USB drivers, from the
Samsung Android USB Driver | Samsung Developers
You need the driver only if you are developing on Windows and want to connect a Samsung Android device to your development environment over USB.
developer.samsung.com
And Odin from here
Patched Odin 3.13.1
For those looking for a modified, modded, or patched odin that is a newer build than all the fake and renamed prince comsy 3.12.3 versions floating around. I patch recent Odin versions to offer similar functionality to the princecomsy; in that...

I used the original Samsung USB cable and tried the 3 USB ports in the laptop
What else can be happening?
Thank you very much!

did you try booting into the download mode twice?
Once and then again and then start the odin.
I had to do that.
I had to flash the official firmware myself because my phone keeps crashing on the homescreen.
Didnt solve it but I did flash it properly.

go to the recovery.
connect to the PC.
open odin.
click on "reboot to bootloader"
It should go to to download mode.
what does your download mode screen say?
When I was doing this process I tried reflashing the latest rom but that didn't solve my boot loop issue.
So I flashed an older version of the rom.
Make sure the version you download is compatible with your phone.
You have G9650ZHU9FUG2 so only roms with 9 will work.
I flashed that old version and it didn't work, phone still stuck.
Then I flashed the latest one again and then my phone worked.
I used odin from the link you posted.
Odin3 v3.13.1
actually what i would suggest is downloading/re-downloading samsung usb drivers. otherwise most phones won't respond to odin even in download mode without it

Hi! Today I have successfully flashed the exact firmware that the phone had ( there is no newer) using a different laptop (it's true if the problem persist with Odin, use another laptop)
I got success message, at the very first time, and when the phone reboot, nothing , stuck as it was before, so I erased cache partition and no luck, still stuck on reboot, I have also tried repair apps , and reboot sistem now, what else should I do?
Thank you very much!
Hi! I want the community to know that using the APK adb app for Samsung it's a bad idea, after successfuly flashing the firmware and performing a factory reset several times the phone remain stucked, I downloaded about 10 different firmwares and flash them all times without an error, and the phone was bricked and stuck in boot. So I took it to the official service and nothing, still the same, then I found an external service that flash the device with a little box that they said they paid in advance for credits for using that box, it took them one full week to revive the phone, also they had to flash it several times. In conclusion, if you buy Samsung, stick with the garbage apps the throw, if you mess with the system in some way as the official technician said, the phone will be nearly unrecoverable for privacy benefits for the user. Thank you very much for the help to the community!
