[Q] Problem with T889 and 4.4 Roms....

Hi XDA Members,
I have an average understanding of rooted android devices and roms. I currently have a Tmobile Galaxy Note II (T0ltetmo)(T889) that is rooted. It has TWRP on it. I am running currently pacman rom (pac_t0ltetmo-4.3-20140128.zip) which works fine.
Here is the problem.... I am trying to upgrade to a Pacman Rom that is based on Android 4.4 which I have found. I installed the Pacman rom 4.4 & GAPPS stock 4.4 which works flawlessly, the only problem is..... My Radio doesn't work! I have my GSM Sim in and nothing comes up! Heres the thing aswell... I installed other roms that are based on 4.4 and the radio's doesn't work on any of those ROMs either, as soon as restore my other backups that are 4.3 the radio works.
What could be the problem? Is there something I am forgetting to do that the developers didn't tell me? Do I need to install something else that wasn't specified?
Please help!
Flash the newest kernel and modem if you haven't already. I noticed much the same when just testing 4.4 from a 4.1 rom.

Are you sure to have a compatible firmware installed? Every CM i tried had working WiFi. I'd suggest CM11 mod called Mokee OS version 03/30 + using KhaN Kernel v. 1.9. If your phone isnt broken, WiFi will work.

[Q] Need advice RE: KitKat ROM for Galaxy Ace 2 GT-i8160

Sorry if this has been asked many times in the past, but I cannot find anyone asking recently...
My girlfriend has the official jellybean 4.1.2 installed on her UK Ace 2 GT-i8160, but it often freezes up or lags when doing simple tasks... she was thinking of getting me to downgrade it back to gingerbread, but I wondered if getting one of the kitkat roms would be better?
The requirements are simple.... the most stable and reliable kitkat rom for a UK Ace 2 GT-i8160.
I've been reading and searching the forums for the last couple hours... but I just keep getting more and more confused.
Can anyone help?
EDIT/UPDATE:
CM11 looks like it's the most worked on mod, but I'm confused as to why there are so many 'stable' and 'fully working' releases, when the next update lists a few fixes... so it obviously wasn't 'fully working'? :S
Is the last version of 4.4.3 more stable than the latest 4.4.4? or perhaps a lower version than that?
Or perhaps CM10.2 would be better? - as I stated above, I just want the phone to be as stable and reliable as possible... the official jellybean rom is a joke, and gingerbread wasn't much better.
No replies, but ok...
I've spent about 10 hours reading threads about different roms, but it would have been nice if someone could have pointed me in the right direction to save some of that time. If anyone else is wanting the most stable custom ROM for their Ace 2, go for 4.3.1 TeamCanjica CyanogenMod 10.2.
I've just installed it and it works like a dream so far... like getting a brand new phone
Doesn't even need to be rooted, very simple to install through the standard recovery menu.

thanks, will try out as i also faced the same issues after upgraded to jellybean.:good:
Most stable KitKat ROM for Ace 2 is AOSP ROM. No Custom ROM can beat its stability....

[Q] Is it worth upgrading stock to CM13?

Hello, I just now joined XDA, but have been using the forums for quite some time now.
Is it worth upgrading my S4 Mini I9192 to CM13?
One thing that is holding me back is that I had a Samsug Galaxy SII and had CM12 on it, but after a couple of months it started shutting itself down and had become overall buggy. So I upgraded to CM13 and the problems persisted. I personally think that the cause was the fact it's an old phone rather than the ROM itself.
Could someone give any advice on what to do? Thank you!
Just Try and use Remix Kernel. If you don't like the rom, you can back to stock rom by flashing via odin I suggest you to try RR MM Rom & Bliss Rom

Thanks for the advice. Although I've never flashed anything besides CM I guess it's time to try something new.
