[Help]Coolpad 7230-B

Hello,
I just received a Coolpad 7230-B, bought in China.
The phone comes with android-baidu system installed. I would love to replace it with google os, as I can't understand all the chinese and don't like the baidu apps so much..
However I couldn't find any information about this phone, has anyone ever done that? Is is possible?

[Q] Get Google Play into Chinese Tab 3 10.1 (GT-P5210) from Linux

Good day to you ladies and gentlemen. I will get straight to the point:
I recently purchased a Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 (GT-P5210) in China, and it comes with no Google Play.
I have tried installing the apks for Google Services Framework and Google Play, but as soon as I try to add my Google account (as requested by Google Play on first run), I get the "Unable to establish a reliable connection" to Google servers error. If I try to create an account from the settings panel, the settings program stops working. Google Services Framework also likes to crash seemingly at random.
I have tried getting a western firmware into it, but since I do not have a Windows box, and I haven't been able to get Odin to work on Virtual Box, no such luck. Heimdall doesn't seem to properly communicate with the tablet. Is there a way to do "Odin work" with adb and company?
So that's two questions, but what I would really like to ask is: what are my options? I just want my Google Play account on this beautiful tablet.
On a related note, how is the work on rooting the GT-P5210 coming along? Is there anything I can do to help? I have experience as a developer in general (not Android specific though), and I would be glad to help.

EDIT: I also couldn't find any custom recoveries for the Tab 3, are there none? That way I would be able to install a gapps .zip, maybe...

I have already rooted the tab and also found some how to´s for installing the google framework
and the app store for example

, but it works only more or less. Some of the google apps are running now but the most important
the google play store still didn´t run.
Maybe I only take the wrong software or I don´t know.
Can you tell me what exactly you have done to install the play store???

Android Vers. 4.2.2
Kernel 3.4.34-1216049
Has somebody a good idea or can tell me which software I have to use.

Solved the problem by myself! But still is for me not clear how I can now which gapps-jb-xxx is the right one for my system.
Only with testing it was possible to find the solution.
Has anybody a good idea?

[Q] How to install Google Apps for Ascend P6S - Dual Sim

Hello Colleagues,
I bought Ascend P6S-U06 but I'm not able to sync contacts or perform any of google standard apps.
I manged to install play store,gmail and maps from app center coming with the phone.
Can you please guide me how to get contacts synced or if any custom rom available for this model.

Guys, i wanna buy this phone Huawei Ascend P6S (DSFA) as a second hand, the owner tells that it doesn't support Google Play, Contacts, Services, anything related to google apps. Someone who have this exact model can confirm this? I don't have what do do without Google Play, Gapps, Contacts, etc. and i don't wan't to buy it only because is a DSFA smartphone.

I just got my p6 bought from alliexpres and after searching here i found it's fake clone.
i used Z-CORE app to see that it's using MTK 6589 instead than huawei cpu...
i hate the seller!
it's got with chinise rom based on B118. i can't upgrade can't use google play service (so can't use my google account).
i want to upgrade to normal rom or atleast find a way to use google play.
(i tried google play fixer and it didn't help...)
what can i do?
there someone here that have this device and figure out what to do?
when i'm rebooting with vol+- preesed i got chinise menu....

You cant do anything its not a real Ascend P6. You should Contact your Seller.

there nothing i can do with the phone?
the hardware look prety good.
i understood that lot of people had fallen and buy that replica.
maybe someone found a way to use a beter Rom.

Help Needed with New Elephone P8000 ?

Hi To Everyone on Forum,
I Just bought a new Elephone P8000 , I use to have a ZTE Blade S6, I want to retrieve my old sms mms phtos and apps from ZTE to Elephone is there anything i can do to do this I also wondered is there anyway of retrieving whatsapp messages photos videos etc ?
I also want to root this mob I have tried SuperSU but it does not want to know ?

Tried t it wants qr code can't get don't work would smart switch work as I said in first post I want to transfer data from older zte blade s6 to new telephone p8000

SMS backup app. It uses gmail account for backup. Just back it all up and restore onto new device. Or you can just back up and leave in gmail.
